Dems Resistance re: Immigration is NOT about Immigration

Honestly, Democrats absolutely do NOT want a “real” Immigration Plan.

What makes me think that?

  • Senator Bernie Sanders  in 2015: “When you have 36 percent of Hispanic kids in this country who can’t find jobs, and you bring a lot of unskilled workers into this country, what do you think happens to that 36 percent of kids who are today unemployed? Fifty-one percent of African-American kids? I don’t think there’s any presidential candidate, none, who thinks we should open up the borders,” said Sanders.
  • Senator Chuck Schumer when asked his stance on changes in immigration: “I support further securing our borders; prohibiting hiring of undocumented immigrants by requiring job applicants to present a secure Social Security card; creating jobs by attracting the world’s best and brightest to America, and keeping them here; requiring undocumented immigrants to register with the government, pay taxes, and earn legal [status or face deportation.]” Source: League of Women Voters 2010 Candidate Questionnaire , Aug 11, 2010
  • Senator Schumer’s 2010 stance on Sanctuary Cities and regulation of Immigration: “To create a reserve fund to ensure that Federal assistance does not go to sanctuary cities that ignore the immigration laws of the United States and create safe havens for illegal aliens and potential terrorists.”
  • The border wall opinions of Dems including then Senator Obama:  As a senator, Barack Obama once offered measured praise for the border control legislation that would become the basis for one of Donald Trump’s first acts as president. “The bill before us will certainly do some good,” Obama said on the Senate floor in October 2006. He praised the legislation, saying it would provide “better fences and better security along our borders” and would “help stem some of the tide of illegal immigration in this country.” Obama was talking about the Secure Fence Act of 2006, legislation authorizing a barrier along the southern border passed into law with the support of 26 Democratic senators including party leaders like Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Chuck Schumer.
  • Senator Dick Durbin, who says President Trump’s use of the term “Chain Migration,” is offensive and racist to black Americans, said something entirely different PREVIOUSLY about Chain Migration. In 2010, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) advocated on the Senate floor for ending the
    Dick Durbin

process known as “chain migration,” whereby newly naturalized citizens can bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the U.S., a term that he now claims insinuates racism. While asking Congress to pass the expansive and failed “DREAM Act” amnesty, which would start by legalizing millions of illegal aliens, Durbin touted the fact that the legislation at the time would have ended chain migration, preventing newly amnestied illegal aliens from bringing their extended family members to the U.S. “The DREAM Act would not allow what is known as chain migration,” Durbin said. “In fact, DREAM Act students would have very limited ability to sponsor their family members for legal status.”

What Are Dems Objectives?

After almost 18 months of Donald Trump either being the GOP nominee for President and then President, it should be apparent to all what Democrats at every level are up to: “Dump Trump.” Their horrific attempts to fulfill that “dream” that daily play out on the national and World stages have become almost comical as you can see, read, and hear the desperation in all they initiate. And daily the web of deceit and corruption grows stronger and snares more and more victims as it tightens its grip on all those who have fallen prey to its soothing and delightful song: “Don’t worry about a thing all you Humans. We have everything you need here and we will take care of you in every way. Work, honesty, and commitment are things of the past. Come here and all you will need to do is commit your life to support us and all we bring to you and your worries are over.”

And it was working — until Donald Trump.

During the 2016 campaign, he caught the ears of Americans, some of who had been caught-up in the fairy-tale promises of the Left. Many began to believe once more there just might be “Liberty and Justice for All,” that hard work really could reap great personal rewards, that setting goals, working hard to achieve them, and the benefits of those achievements might be realistic. They began to hope.

Trump confronted not only the person of the Democrats, but the hypocrisy of their promises, the lies from their past (some of which are listed above), the failed promises they dole out during every election campaign every two years, and their failed policies that under Obama sent black unemployment to the Moon, the federal debt too went on that ride: it doubled, consumer confidence tanked, and as we are seeing now, corruption consumed Washington D.C. and was dangerously near destroying the U.S. before the wake-up call in November of 2016. Americans with their votes said, “Wait a minute: Washington YOU work for us. It’s NOT the other way around.” And Donald Trump was elected. In the words of Barack Obama: “Elections have consequences.”

The only way Democrats could ever succeed in gaining majority control of Americans, (not “Congress”) was to open the immigration faucet to bring enough poor immigrants and literally force those immigrants to rely on Democrats for everything of substance in their lives. Obama basically told the DNC he would take care of Americans already here. They needed to get that immigration faucet open to get the necessary numbers here from outside the U.S.

Money has never been the goal. Money has always been just a tool. Money begats  power. Power begats control. Control begats votes….then go back to the Money. That is the only Immigration objective of the Democrats.

Summary

Don’t agree with that synopsis? Fair enough. Sign in below in the comments section and send me your answers to these questions:

If Democrats really support Immigration, then:

  1. Why didn’t they pass comprehensive Immigration when they controlled both the House and Senate AND the White House?
  2. Why have they stated they will only support legislation that gives Dreamers a path to citizenship, continued Chain Migration, and will NOT fully fund a border wall?
  3. Why do they continue to establish and support Sanctuary Cities? That concept flies in the face of a Legal Immigration policy.

Folks, if they wanted comprehensive Immigration, they’d do anything to get it, including intimidation or even blackmail to get votes to pass it. If they felt it necessary they’d force a white cow to give green milk if they felt that green milk was necessary for one of their causes. They WOULD find a way to make that cow get it done!

I’ll wait to read your answers. I really DO want to hear from you!

One more thing: remember that surprise 1-hour televised White House Immigration meeting between Dems and GOP members of the House and Senate and the President? The World saw that this President can actually run a real meaningful meeting making some really good objective points and promoting real conversation instead of just arguments between the opposites. Why then do you think Senator Durbin ran to the press with his yet unfounded allegations about the President using profanity describing Immigrants?

I have for months listened to Lefties gripe about the communication methods of Mr. Trump and how non-productive they are. He should just talk to members of Congress, hold press conferences, and let the “professionals” carry his message to the public. So when he listens and does just that and has a productive meeting, Durbin — who has done this before at least twice telling lies when he did so — rather than confront the President in that private meeting with a handful of fellow Congressmen, runs to the press. Two GOP Senators in that meeting immediately stated they heard nothing remotely like what Durbin claims was said by the President. But Durbin got his 15 minutes of fame and in doing so has given Democrats another reason — actually just an excuse — to not be forced to bring a real Immigration bill to the floor for debate and a vote. THEY DON’T WANT REAL IMMIGRATION REFORM……THEY WANT OPEN BORDERS!

That is the ONLY reason Senators Sanders, Durbin, Schumer, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and former President Obama would all make their 180 degree turn on their very vigorous and demonstrative stands on the matter.

It’s about Control and nothing else. They don’t care one bit about those immigrants — I guarantee it.

The Cost of the New Tax Bill

Reducing taxes, rebates, deductions, and write-offs all mean one thing and one thing only: increases to the Budget deficit.

Ever hear of “trickle-down economics?” That is the term given the bill used in the 80’s by President Reagan and Congress to implement massive tax cuts for Americans. The claims by the Reagan Administration were identical to claims we hear from the Trump Administration: tax cuts will mean more consumer spending which interprets into more revenue for companies, which interprets into corporate expansion, which interprets into employee and infrastructure investment, which interprets into more government revenue, etc. Democrats categorically deny the truth in that. And they cry that ANY tax relief for Americans must come from increased federal government borrowing — or deficit increase.

That was the story in the Obama years. And they really worried about the deficit increase, too, right?Hmmmmm…… The deficit doubled in 8 years on their watch. And it started two months after Obama’s inauguration: infrastructure shovel-ready jobs and $800 Billion of American taxpayer money to seed it all. Those shovel-ready jobs, energy company startup loans and loan guarantees, and loans and guarantees to bunches of other companies and individuals handpicked for their “eligibility” by the Obama Administration results? All the money is gone…scant results….$10 Billion of new debt. And these are the folks who want to tell us about government financing. I think not.

Enter Donald Trump.

Crying on the Left

(Watch this video: 2 minutes)

https://youtu.be/avsgWSq3BwQ

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi throwing cold water in the faces of  2 million Americans — a number growing daily — who over 100 U.S. companies so far have announced giving immediate bonuses to because of the new tax law. According to Pelosi: “Crumbs.” She makes no mention that a huge number of these companies in addition to the bonuses are giving pay raises to their rank and file employees — many raising their minimum wage starting point for new adds to $15/per hour.

So what’s the beef? These Americans are thrilled to receive not only such a bonus, but in many cases a pay raise that they will begin seeing in their first February 2018 paycheck — just weeks away. That’s not a good thing? Not according to Pelosi — it’s just “crumbs.”

Let’s face it: in Pelosi’s world, a $1000 bonus and an extra $2,000 a year of “walking around” money is insignificant. But there are very few average Americans — you know those “Middle Class” Americans who Democrats claim they are in Congress specifically to guard against the wicked Conservatives — who feel such bonuses, pay raises, and tax reductions are insignificant.

Here’s the Rub

The real reason those on the Left are so angry about what is happening just two weeks into the life of the new tax law is that all those dollars taxpayers are about to see in pay raises, bonuses and tax decreases is money that was “theirs” last year! Of course that money was never really theirs. But they think it was…and they act like it is.

There are two really big conundrums they are about to face and explain to the American people:

  1. Taxpayers in 2018 — ALL of 2018 — will have more money to keep when they cash their paychecks. And this begins in a couple of weeks while Pelosi and Company are still hoping for the Armageddon she predicted. (The only Armageddon she might see is the war on the Left in November);
  2. The other is when voters awaken to the realization that NOT A SINGLE DEMOCRAT IN THE HOUSE OR SENATE VOTED FOR THE TAX CUTS. How can any politician spin that fact — even as good at spinning are Democrat leaders in the House and Senate — into being good for Americans? Democrats did not give them bonuses, pay raises, or tax cuts. Donald Trump and the G.O.P. did. That’s a hard pill for Democrats to swallow.

Summary

Here’s the irony of all this: while the Left has painted corporations and the wealthy as the evildoers who make too much money on the backs of their employees. In addition to the conundrums listed above, they are facing this reality: although they screamed for companies to take responsibility for making too much money, (they point to Wall Street) these companies passing out bonuses and pay raises are NOT taking it from their corporate profits. THEY ARE KEEPING IT TO GIVE TO EMPLOYEES INSTEAD OF SENDING IT TO WASHINGTON D.C. AS TAXES!

Remember when President Obama famously chided company owners saying this: (paraphrased) “You cannot say you’ve built that company or created your income. You didn’t do it. You had to have roads and streets and infrastructure to do it. You didn’t do it. Everybody else built your company.”

That’s the difference between Liberalism and Conservatism.

For me: I’ll take Free Market Capitalism from Conservative ideals over Socialism from Liberals like Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Schumer and Company anytime.

And as the shades go up and the Light of Truth shines, I’m pretty sure the majority of Americans will see and understand which guys are really wearing the white hats.

$$$ Cost to Taxpayers For Immigration: Legal and Illegal

While the D.C. Talking Heads collude on how to spend the maximum taxpayer dollars on Immigration, let’s look at some “Facts.” (I know this is a novel idea and that very few Beltway-ers have bothered to access facts on the matter) Please note these numbers include costs for both legal and illegal immigrants.

The Center for Immigration Studies (non-affiliated and non-partisan) published a landmark study of immigration and welfare use, showing that 51 percent of immigrant-headed households used at least one federal welfare program — cash, food, housing, or medical care — compared to 30 percent of native households. Following similar methodology, this new study examines the dollar cost of that welfare use.

  • The average household headed by an immigrant (legal or illegal) costs taxpayers $6,234 in federal welfare benefits, which is 41 percent higher than the $4,431 received by the average native household.
  • The average immigrant household consumes 33 percent more cash welfare, 57 percent more food assistance, and 44 percent more Medicaid dollars than the average native household. Housing costs are about the same for both groups.
  • At $8,251, households headed by immigrants from Central America and Mexico have the highest welfare costs of any sending region — 86 percent higher than the costs of native households.
  • Illegal immigrant households cost an average of $5,692 (driven largely by the presence of U.S.-born children), while legal immigrant households cost $6,378.
  • The greater consumption of welfare dollars by immigrants can be explained in large part by their lower level of education and larger number of children compared to natives. Over 24 percent of immigrant households are headed by a high school dropout, compared to just 8 percent of native households. In addition, 13 percent of immigrant households have three or more children, vs. just 6 percent of native households.

Call me stupid, but isn’t this something that American voters should have the chance to weigh in on instead of allowing the lobbyists and special interests to “talk” the 535 Congressional representatives into taking more of our money to giveaway to immigrants? “Need” is one thing. Many immigrants ARE needy. BUT EVERY ONE — NATIVE AND IMMIGRANT — MUST BE MEANS TESTED BEFORE RECEIVING ONE RED CENT OF TAXPAYER MONEY AND/OR BENEFITS.

Time for facts to be used in D.C. to make decisions and not whoever to codify whoever pays the most or makes the most promises for desired outcomes. Immigration is a huge issue. No country on Earth brings in even close to the number of immigrants as does the U.S. Everyone of them receives subsidies that are paid by American taxpayers. Accountability counts. Use It, Please!

“The Truth, the Whole Truth, and Nothing but The Truth”

Two of the Hollywood bastions of intellect and all things righteous — Robert DeNiro and Steven Spielberg — have told the world they and their elitist compadres have exclusive permission to determine everything…period:

http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2018/01/10/robert-de-niro-attacks-trump-in-profane-rant-at-awards-gala.html

Ignore DeNiro’s self-righteous profanity at the occupier of the White House. Forget about the blatant double standard of the fundamental premise of his tirade. Forget the blatant hypocrisy of the “receiver” of the accolades for which this Big Apple event was held — Meryl Streep. And forget about the myriad of lies in all that was said. All that matters? “Hey, it’s Robert DeNiro and Steven Spielberg. When DeNiro and Spielberg speak, EVERYBODY listens AND believes!”

“The Truth, the Whole Truth, and Nothing but The Truth”

Spielberg with DeNiro

Besides the obvious purpose of DeNiro’s rant — to denigrate his fellow New Yorker with whom he disagrees about political matters — DeNiro exposed the rampant intellectual elitism of Hollywood. Oh, we’ve seen it for decades — not in their movies or television shows — in those they’re just “acting” — it’s been on display at the Golden Globes and Academy Awards and in guest appearances of evening talk shows. Now it is front-and-center and very much “in your face.” Why so?

The Media. Spielberg’s new movie — referenced in the link above and the purpose for the awards get together — in content and multiple inferences damns all things Richard Nixon because of Watergate and the subsequent coverups. The movie praises the D.C. journalists who aggressively, consistently, and thoroughly implemented their skills in their craft to research and “report” the evils of Watergate to the American people. Watergate was actually the first major political corruption scandal in modern political history. It was created, implemented, and hidden by a President who was corrupt with power and thought he could get away with hiding all his illegal actions. Fortunately he was called out by a press corp who used their amazing investigative resources to find the truth and (with disregard of the personal danger in doing so) published the truth that inevitably brought down the presidency of Richard Nixon.

The difference between Watergate and “Russia-Gate” is ” The Whole Truth.” There is NO truth (or very little) by a large majority of this press corp in their reporting of ANYTHING to do with Donald Trump, his former campaign, his Administration, or actions of his family members. The Mainstream Media systemically create false narrative almost daily, publish it all as fact, and maintain with impunity again and again its factual basis. And almost all of their “news” has been later debunked as pure lies. I will not waste anyone’s time by itemizing the almost 2 years of “Fake News” reports about all things Trump — we’ve heard them all and had them all crammed down our throats again and again.

I WILL mention the latest: during last Friday’s 24-hour news cycle EVERY news outlet carried non-stop coverage of “proof” of President Trump’s mental incapacity. Their “prood?” In part a “group” of psychiatrists issued opinions of President Trump’s mental deficiencies. Never mind their doing so was in direct violation of an edict issued previously by the American Psychiatric Association that stated (paraphrased) that “if/when any psychiatrist issued an opinion of the mental veracity of any person without personally visiting with that person, that doctor in doing so violates the ethics of psychiatry.” You know when they were compelled to issue that statement? When the Mainstream Media toward the end of President Reagan’s second term decided he was mentally deranged. His “derangement” was exposed with similar allegations of some psychiatrists at the time.

Weaponizing psychiatric opinion of Reagan then — weaponizing psychiatric opinion of Trump now. What’s the similarity? Both Presidents are/were Republican and both instigated American conservative ideals and policies that the political elite could not counter with alternate ides sufficient to counter Reagan and Trump’s concepts. In place of reason and political debate to find agreement, the Left once again have resorted to verbal assault about the mental capacity of this President.

In closing, want some irony? Even the talking heads at CNN and MSNBC after the 1-hour televised meeting at the White House in which President Trump in a roundtable with 2 dozen members of the House and Senate allowed television cameras free access as the pending negotiations for DACA were discussed. In that meeting, President Trump dispelled all the talk of his mental incapacity by deftly, professionally, led conversations between Congressional leaders with each other, he fielded questions from several, made intelligent and cogent remarks and observations throughout the entire hour. He SHOWED his grasp on reality, his job requirements as President, and his ability to lead in a meeting with some of the most contentious people on Earth who seldom if ever have had a similar meeting in which civility prevailed throughout discussions about such a serious topic.

For nearly two hours immediately following that televised live meeting, anchors at CNN and MSNBC (it could have been the same at other news networks that I did not see) were amazingly complimentary of the President, his conduct in the meeting, and his ability to run that meeting. I was shocked at their compliments!

Suddenly, however, about 2 hours into the “Meeting Post-game Show” all of that positive attitude of those anchors went out the window. It was as if whoever the someone somewhere is that blows the Liberal dog whistle did so and rebuffed the anchors for getting off topic of the Leftist story-line they were supposed to stick to. Trump bashing picked up again, and did so with a vengeance.

Summary

What’s good about these two events happening when they did with the people involved, with the coverage of each and everything happening and being covered live gave Americans a true picture of just how nasty, narcissistic, self-absorbed, and elite Hollywood-ites and Media-ites really are. Americans can now see “The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.” Maybe guys like Rush, FOX News hosts, conservative members of Congress and other conservative media folks can take a breath, knowing Americans saw a bunch of this for themselves.

Oh…I forgot: Who would believe that ANY American could read about or watch an actual event and make an intelligent decision about elements of that event without some talking head providing an interpretation?

How can we stupid Middle Class Americans even know how to buy a Powerball ticket or use a debit card without a Liberal to show us?

One last thing: I have always been a big DeNiro fan. He’s played some amazing roles in movies, UNTIL….. Have you seen any of his movies from the last 5 years? NO great role, NO great parts, movies with NO plots….producers are “hoping” tickets will sell because he “formerly” was a really good actor. All he does now is denigrate the office of the Presidency with amazing profanity.

There’s one remaining movie role that would be a sure Oscar winner for him: playing a really angry old White guy from Manhattan that cusses with the best of them. Oscar voters would certainly love him in that role. I can hear it now: “DeNiro takes the best actor Oscar for his role in the blockbuster directed by his pal Steven Spielberg “Angry Italian White Guy Storms the White House.” He won his 2 Oscars playing bad Italian White guys. Could be 1 more there for a repeat performance.

I’m certain he’d have Meryl’s vote.

A Spirit of Hypocrisy

It’s pretty hard to ascertain who is and who is not hypocritical today. And now there’s Oprah.

Oprah

I’ve always considered her a class act. She has a great entrepreneurial story, has overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles to achieve great success, and has heretofore dodged the inevitable scandals that normally plague the successful. How?

It’s definitely not by dodging the limelight or hiding. She’s deftly navigated the waters of controversy by developing and maintaining a close-knit group of friends and associates that have proven their love and allegiance to their friend with their silence.  It has served her well.  But her publicly insulated lifestyle may be history. If Oprah eats a Twinkie or wears paisley shorts on her exercise bike the whole world will know…IF she runs for President.

Chicago

It’s tough for a Southern black girl to make it in television. Oprah recognized that quickly and moved up North. Her career skyrocketed ironically with her lead role in the movie The Color Purple. But it was her production company and daily television talk show that won the hearts of Americans. Harpo Productions (also referred to as Harpo Studios) is a US-based multimedia production company she founded.  (the name “Harpo” is “Oprah” spelled backwards, and was the name of her on-screen husband in The Color Purple) and is the sole subsidiary of her media and entertainment company, Harpo, Inc. OWN — the “Oprah Winfrey Network — pushed her to the top in television production. Chicago is where her success took off.

A mansion in Chicago, one in the Nashville suburbs and another in Los Angeles, her $60 million Global Express and $70 million Gulfstream jets were the evidence of just how good she had become professionally. She bought a stake in Weight Watchers and backed the career of Dr. Phil. But she carefully dodged the scrutiny so common for those in her same position — until last night.

Hollywood

Though she prominently endorsed and backed Obama’s ‘08 campaign, she otherwise stayed out of politics and avoided the normal political distractions of the wealthy. But Hollywood cast the lure, and she took the bait: the  Cecil B. DeMille Award for Lifetime Achievements at the Golden Globes. Sunday evening, January 7th, Oprah took her place in the most entrenched group of hypocrites on Earth — the Hollywood elite. And she did so in an extremely ironic fashion.

In her acceptance speech she told young girls listening that “A new day is on the horizon.” This chapter of the Golden Globes ceremony was the first major awards show since Hollywood first began addressing rampant sexual harassment against women in the entertainment industry and beyond. Oprah referred to her joining the group that has taken on the task of making sure sexual harassment is erased called “#MeToo.”

“So I want tonight to express gratitude to all the women who have endured years of abuse and assault because they, like my mother, had children to feed and bills to pay and dreams to pursue,” she said. “They’re the women whose names we’ll never know.” Winfrey said she has been “inspired” by “all the women who have felt strong enough and empowered enough to speak up and share their personal stories.”

So taking this stand and making this speech launched Oprah Winfrey’s NEW career. The media mogul segues from a monumentally successful media career that included movie and television without the usual baggage what has become the normal lifestyle of almost all rich people in Hollywood: Everyday Hypocrisy.

Oprah’s hypocrisy? This picture is of Oprah fawning over and kissing the cheek of Harvey Weinstein — the most horrendous of the Hollywood sexual predators. His salacious seductions of young, aspiring Hollywood starlets are legend and have been known by pretty much everyone in the industry for decades. Hundreds if not thousands of television and movie directors, producers, studio executives, actors and actresses have known of Weinstein’s actions and have remained quiet about them, not weighing-in to condemn his unethical and even illegal actions against an unknowable number of women. Why their silence? They are petrified of retribution by Hollywood where sexual harassment has been winked at for decades. It’s a way of life.

Oprah is not alone in her years-long silence on the subject. Famous stars like Cher, Meryl Streep, Barbara Streisand, and dozens of others have stood silent while women have been savaged by Weinstein. And he is not alone. The number of 90211 predators is spooky scary. Meryl and Barb and Cher and now Oprah are finally taking a stand in support of their fellow women.

But why just now?

Timing

Timing is everything — even when it comes to attacking sexual harassment. Never mind the lives not talking about it were destroyed. The timing was not good for revelation. But now such revelation of harassment and the damning of the perpetrators is politically correct. it’s time to tear offenders to shreds.

It’s actors in Hollywood, Congressmen, Senators, high profile members of the Media, and even corporate executives.

For Oprah, it’s different: she is seriously considering a run for the White House in 2020. And she has learned her first political lesson: you’ve got to clean the skeletons out of your closet before you run, because they will ALL be exposed when you declare. And exposure of sexual predators is the self-righteous responsibility of the Hollywood elite this year. And in Hollywood if you do something today that you should have done 10 years ago is OK, because you did it. “When” you did it doesn’t matter. And “why” you did it when you did doesn’t either. And the lives your silence by waiting so long to expose it are immaterial. All that matters is that you did it.

Summary

Who knows if Oprah will run? I don’t think she even knows now. Whether or not she can win is also a question that cannot be answered. I am certain she either has or will engage the best experts in the U.S. to test focus groups, conduct polls out the wazoo, and even do opposition research to determine her likelihood of winning if she runs.

Want my opinion? I don’t think she’ll run — she’s really smart…and really wealthy…and really easy going. Though she’s a billionaire and the wealthiest woman in the U.S., I doubt she will (whenever all the polls and stats are in) want to get down in the political mud and live there for 3 or 4 years before an election in 2020. Of course a successful run would make her the first female U.S. President — and a black one at that. But I don’t think she is driven toward such a goal as was Hillary.

I think she knows just how nasty a run against Donald Trump would be. The Queens bully does not and will not hesitate to take her on in whatever ways are necessary to win — especially if/when any Oprah dirt was uncovered.

Oprah has dipped her toe into the PC waters of Malibu, and she likes that. She likes the status and the lack of stress. She likes the peace of the beach. If she runs for President, all that is gone.

Oprah doesn’t need that. And she certainly does not want that.

It Takes an Immigrant

I was up at 4:00 this morning — don’t sleep a lot. Turned the television on for early news and The Patriot was on. I’ve watched it at least 30 times. In fact I purposely watch it at least once a year. Why?

War in America

Colonel Benjamin Martin of the Colonial Army Militia lived a story that every American should know — should study. We should understand what happened to early settlers in the New World while still under the domination of the ruthless government of England’s King George. Martin led a rag-tag group of farmers, ministers, teenagers, with a few former soldiers mixed in against the largest, best trained, and best funded military on Earth. Why? American colonists wanted to finish what they fled Europe for: to build a free nation with self government. King George did not take to that idea too well.

That war killed thousands, tore families apart, destroyed homes, farms, towns, plantations and the government. But most of those colonial colonists held on to that dream of independence, re-grouped again and again to maintain their independence. Driving the British from American soil was not a hope — it was a must. And they did.

Another War

In a hotel restaurant in Modesto I saw an actor friend having breakfast. He came to my table to say hello. He gushed about a movie premier he had seen two nights before at his good friend Mel Gibson’s home. My actor friend (I will not give his name) is a Christian as was the movie. It was “The Passion of the Christ” — 3 Oscar Nominations, $612 million gross in its theatrical release, and remains the highest grossing non-English language film of all time.

That movie re-told a well-worn story to the World that personalized for all the last days of Christ. Its success came from its ability to relate to all. Jim Caviezel depicted better than any before the horrors of Christ’s last days. When I saw the movie the first time I sat riveted by its message to the World of the Savior. It changed me. How so?

My world as that of most Americans had numbed to the Christianity of my youth — my “personal relationship with Jesus.” Once more I was confronted with a real person who really lived and really died. But that was just the beginning — for the World AND for me.

Tie the Two Together

The Patriot vividly chronicled what is probably the single most important historical American event. There would be no USA without The Revolutionary War. Every tenet of our political system, every freedom, every social culture is a result of that war.

The Passion of the Christ chronicled what millions believe to be the most important person in World history. It did so in a manner that was identifiable to all who watched. Its magnetic attraction to its message imparted to all its viewers the realities of not only Jesus Christ the human being, but Jesus Christ the Son of God.

Both movies because of their messages and impact became and are still very controversial. Both have assisted in lighting the current Winds of War in America. And isn’t it ironic that both movies with their life-changing historical messages were given to us by an Immigrant — Mel Gibson!

Winds of War

The winds of war I refer to are those that were born here at home. They are not from the Heartland. They were birthed on the East and West coasts, the products of an ideology unrecognized by most Americans until recently. Those winds are of Fear and Hate. And just as the raging fires in California are still burning, so too are these winds.

These winds were sparked by a socialist education environment that now permeates American schools at every level. They birthed Antifa, Socialism and Supremacy’s rebirths, Me-ism, Elitism, and Political Correctness. It fanned Racism into a frenzy unseen in decades.

Other sparks ignited fires in churches whose messages for men turned from the person of God to the person of Man — Humanism. More and more Americans have slipped into a world where MAN is in total control of everything in HIS life and with total disregard of any responsibility for others. Americanism, Christianity, have no place there. But Fear and Hate are thriving.

Some will say that Fear and Hate have always lived among men. No doubt that is true. But because of historical events that called Men of every race, creed, and religion together for specific causes, Men have always found their way back to the fundamentals that made America the greatest nation in World history. Not so today. Certainly enemies have been and are there, but Men, because of their Hate and Fear that have dissolved into Political Correctness, cannot point out that foe for fear of stepping over the line. There are some that have anyway. Boy have they paid a steep price.

Fear and Hate have fragmented every social, religious, and political institution in America. Just look at Congress, the White House, the Media, churches and denominations. Races have turned against those of other races. Religious people regularly question the ideals of those of other religions. Those from political parties hate other party members. And the Fight of the Sexes is now at a fever pitch. Immorality runs rampant as does crime.

Historically, life in the U.S. has been cyclical: things are really tough for a while, get better for a while, get tough again, and then drastically improve. One can say we are in a “down cycle” right now and to not worry, the “uptick” is just moments away. I fear, however, the cyclical recovery this time will fail because it cannot successfully deal with the Fear and Hate that has rooted itself into the hearts of Americans.

What Next?

Previous down cycles in America sparked a Civil War, the War of 1812, two World Wars, the Korean conflict, Vietnam, Iraq, 9/11, and ISIS. Each time (until this time) Americans have dropped bias, racism, sexism, fear and hate and have pulled together for a common cause: the defeat of the enemy. That happened in these two movies, too. We won the Revolutionary War and Jesus won that battle — He conquered Death. But Americans always love to revel in the good times — maybe for too long. And in today’s U.S. when something bad happens, we simply bury our heads in the sand and act like it’s not there. But it IS there, whether we confront it or not.

Do we need another World War or a nuclear fight with North Korea or another 9/11 to scare us back onto the right track? I would love to say we do not….but maybe we do. What we certainly need is to lay aside our Me-ism and Humanism and narcissistic attitudes and understand there is a Higher Power, that we can do nothing good of ourselves but for that Higher Power, that the Higher Power is a God that our forefathers sought guidance from, prayed to, thanked for His blessings, and sought to teach others of His ways. Don’t jump on me about a “separation of Church and State.” SCOTUS got that wrong! Factually through hundreds of documents our Founders insisted to make and keep God at the center of our Nation in perpetuity. There was NEVER an attempt to found a national religion — which was one reason for their hasty departure from England. In the Constitution they clearly stated that and promised there would be freedom of religion for all AND no national church.

God is NOT a church building and He does NOT own any. God resides in the hearts of men. If men do not recognize that, we are doomed to a possible permanent down cycle in America. 9/11 worked for a bit. But it didn’t take long for the old Winds of War — Fear and Hate — to jump back up into the drivers seat and start doing what they do again — driving us down the wrong path.

WE CAN STOP THAT……IF we want to.

Jesus said that what we do wrong is NOT our sin — the state of our hearts and minds that allow us to justify those things is our sin. We can CHOOSE to do the right things. We can reject Fear and Hate. We can turn to God to once again and reject the totalitarian ways of Humanism that have taken hold of our Nation.

It will take some Benjamin Martins to commit to simply do the right things. It will take a BUNCH of Benjamin Martins.

Jesus started it all for us.

“Words Have Meaning”

“Words have meaning. And their meaning doesn’t change.” Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia

At no time in recent memory is there more proof of the validity of the late Supreme Court Justice’s words. Chiefly due to 24/7 instant satellite television, video, radio, and telephone communications, there have never been more words uttered, more videos seen, or more conversations all over planet Earth. Plato was the first to utter words similar to those of Scalia. But they had much different meaning then than today. Words then were simply that: mostly spoken to others, sometimes written and read, but always to a limited audience — compared to today. Today electronic communications are instant, worldwide, and too often deadly.

Americans above all others should understand the responsibility of words. Apparently though, many have not gotten that message. And with the rapid expansion of satellite communications, words are instantaneous and more powerful than ever because of their instant delivery. With that comes new dangers that increase in number and intensity every day. There are 200 billion tweets each year, 8.3 trillion texts each year, and in the U.S. alone there are 3 billion cell calls every day!  Words……

The Experts: “Wordsmiths”

Enter the media. Very conspicuously they have (from necessity) on the most part ceased research before reporting. News sources are no longer clerks in big companies, waitresses who overhear seedy conversations or junior level bankers seeking a leg-up at work and an extra dollar. No, reporters rely on “reprinting.” And the news they reprint or re-broadcast is more often than not simply revised versions of news from other reporters.

It seems that this “new” style of reporting brought with it permission for reporters to be editors, too. They have with impunity in every political story taken authority to “report” each painted with their opinion. Unfortunately for many — us and even them — their practice at perfecting this new craft has birthed a new monster in news.

The New Guy in Town

History when determining the factors in the Donald Trump 2016 victory over Hillary Clinton will certainly give the award to Twitter. The “Twitter in Chief” even before elected mastered the use of those 140 characters. Undoubtedly he is the REAL Wordsmith of the last few years. He quickly discovered when his campaign began that the Mainstream Media were anything but that. He had to find a way to get his message directly to the American people — unfiltered and unbiased. Bingo! The end result is that 18 months later every member of the MSM begin and end their days with the Twitter notification of the first and last tweets of the day. And they are pretty much always from @realDonaldTrump.

The Effects

I am not certain if the President knew the power of not only his messaging vehicle but also the power his actual style of messaging. And few in the MSM were prepared for either. But he learned quickly that everyday Americans were starved for real news, the truth from media, and a shot at absorbing facts and making decisions without the constant hammering of the Talking Heads. Donald Trump tweeting was a special and welcome surprise for them.

Besides getting the facts of his agenda directly to Americans without filters, he could send those messages anytime day or night without having to contact anyone for help. Some thought that in itself was dangerous. And the MSM pointed that out over and over in their reporting. His tweets and tweeting style have been critiqued by professional journalists and even psychiatric pros to ascertain the mental capacity of the current White House inhabitant. Depending on who you listen to, (especially today) the President is deranged, mentally unstable, incapacitated, and stupid. Or — according to some — he’s a genius. Probably the truth lies somewhere in between. My opinion is that his mental capacity on a scale of 1 to 12 with 12 being the highest is a solid 12.5. One can argue the number but not this: his mental stability is mountains higher than members of the Mainstream Media. They simply cannot figure him out. And he loves it.

The silliest thing about this entire Twitter thing is this: President Trump — who almost everyone on the Left has spent the last two days spewing the politically correct talking points about his mental incapacity — have been relegated by this “new guy in town” to turn to his Tweets each news day morning so they can determine what news is important. And they must end each day doing the same. President Donald Trump controls the American news cycle on a daily basis!

How powerful is @realDonaldTrump’s tweets? People of both political and business power tried to convince Twitter to deactivate Trump’s Twitter account. Think about that: there is NO reason to want to do that unless they are afraid that in his messaging the Political Elite will be exposed for who they really are! Twitter’s response: “Blocking a world leader from Twitter or removing their controversial Tweets, would hide important information people should be able to see and debate,” Twitter said in a blog post. “It would also not silence that leader, but it would certainly hamper necessary discussion around their words and actions.”

There has never been and is not now another human being who so dominates news content 24/7. And the MSM hate him worse for doing so. But they have no alternative other than to report on everything he says. And he gives them plenty to write and talk about. And they make millions of dollars from this. Yet still they complain.

Summary

Former President Obama said this to New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman, August 8, 2014. “Elections have consequences, and at the end of the day, I won.” With that statement, Obama clearly signaled to the World how important he felt he was along with everything he had done and would do as President. The former law professor made many speeches, made many statements, appeared on numerous newscasts, radio and television programs, and spoke at uncountable numbers of events. But few of his remarks, speeches, or appearances are being chronicled among those of his predecessors for being truly remarkable. Oh, many of his statements and remarks are remembered, but not many are considered historically valuable. Those that ARE remembered are primarily the ones in which he toots his own horn, accomplishments, how great a president he was, and his multitude of insults and intellectual put-downs of his rivals. There are those that still scream about the narcissism of Donald Trump. But Barack Obama makes the current President look as selfless as Mother Teresa. Remember his famous comedy bit on nighttime television in which he read a Trump tweet that paraphrased said Obama would go down as one of the worst Presidents in U.S. history? Then Barack responded, “Well @realDonaldTrump, at least I will go down in history as a U.S. President.”

Words really DO have meaning. Words are powerful. Look how President Trump has used them. And look how 62 million Americans have responded to them. Think for a moment about the OTHER side: the Media. If you haven’t, tune over to “Morning Joe” on MSNBC and listen for a half-hour. Watch Jimmy Kimmel’s monologue or a bit of Rachel Maddow’s evening show on MSNBC. Watch a CNN newscast. Listen to the words each of these say and watch their expressions when saying them. Absolutely NONE of them understand the power of words. Or if they do, they simply think you and I are so intellectually inferior to them we cannot possibly grasp the truth of things in our World, and that we are too dumb to discern what in their blather is news and what is simply their political perspectives.

Yes CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, The New York Times, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, PBS, and Jimmy Kimmel, words DO matter. And when you begin to use words in a truthful, intelligent, non-partisan, thoughtful, considerate way, Americans will come back to watch, listen, and read what you have to say.

When you, Anderson Cooper, are thrilled that 600,000 people tune into watch your CNN evening show, remember at the same time 8 million are watching FOX News. Why is that?

Words DO have meaning. And to quote the former President, “Elections have consequences.”

Mr. Obama, two consequences came from the 2016 election: Hillary Clinton did NOT win…and Donald Trump IS President.

The Trump “Facade”

How could such a successful billionaire from New York and a elected U.S. President spend so much time on Twitter name-calling and tooting his own horn?

Of course this is about Donald Trump. No President in my 64 years has ever taken such an approach after taking the Oath of Office. And no President in history has ever before been excoriated by the Media in such a constant and rabid manner for ANY actions while in office as has Trump. What is going on? I think it is safe to say that he and his methods of operation in the Oval Office are a bit different from his predecessors. And most in the Media and the Establishment politicians just don’t get it. So let’s “get it.”

Donald Trump is from Queens. He grew up inside of the Queens “in-your-face” environment. And Queens — especially back in the 60’s and 70’s — was a pretty tough place in which to grow up. Contrary to Mainstream Media reports, Trump’s father though somewhat successful, was by no means wealthy in The Donald’s formative years. Donald Trump learned and adopted his father’s amazing work ethic, negotiating and sales skills, and business operations style and techniques. Though Trump-The-Elder staked his son at the inception of his commercial real estate career, the decades of remarkable successes for President Trump came at the hands of HIS hard work and persistence. And he built that success within the “Queens Environment.”

Almost every social and economic pocket in the U.S. has cultural and social elements specific to that culture. In mine, the dessert favorites are beignets from Cafe du Monde, King Cake, and dinner main course delicacies of boiled crawfish and Jambalaya. Want to tell some one “Hello?” “Comon sava, Sha!” (south Louisiana translation: “Hi there, child!”)  Even curse words in the Cajun world are not formal French, but from the Cajun dialect, which is a cross between French, English, and some Indian slang. (I will not share any of those here) Do I need to say that Queens has cultural idiosyncrasies that pretty much ignore acceptable political etiquette? Donald Trump grew up in that, was successful in that world, and has taken that world to Washington D.C., to the chagrin of the Mainstream Media and the Political Establishment. Name-calling and “tooting his own horn” are examples of that. And how his opponents hate it and abhor his doing so!

Why Does He Do It?

Remember that old adage: “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.” The President’s mindset is simple: he learned all of these successful operating methods over a period of decades. He has used them to successfully navigate through some of the roughest and meanest people and processes in the Nation. They obviously have worked well. After all, his reported net worth is at least 1 with 9 zeros behind it. Operating the “in-your-face” way led to his success. Why change it?

The big question  throughout his first year in Office (besides the non-stop “Why does he do that?”) is “Can a U.S. President be successful in every area of government necessary — domestic policy, foreign policy, defense, and economics — to run the country?” No doubt politically he is doing it a different way. Is it working?

I will not list all of the Trump accomplishments in his first year. But it is safe to say there are many. In fact, I posted multiple pages listing dozens and dozens of Trump Administration accomplishments that were so lengthy it took 4 days of listing those! (See “Trump Accomplishments Since the 2016 Election” posted here July 11, 12, 13,14 of 2017) There are many. And their results are obvious to millions of Americans AND millions of people in other countries. However, it seems that Democrats, other Liberals, and the Mainstream Media see those results differently, OR their personal and corporate political agendas preclude their acceptance of these successes.

One Establishment U.S. Senator — Orin Hatch from Utah — was initially not too keen on the idea of Donald Trump as President. And in the early days of the Trump Presidency, Hatch had some pretty spicy observations of the “Newbie” from Queens. But with the spreading shadows of the evening of Trump’s first year in office, the Utah Senator changed his tune. During his nearly 41 years in office, Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch has seen seven presidents in the White House. Donald Trump, he said, is “one of the best I’ve served under.” “He’s not afraid to make decisions,” Hatch said during an interview broadcast by MSNBC. “He’s not afraid to take on the big mouths around here.”

There is More to Trump’s Governing Methods than just Winning

Make America Great Again” — the Trump Campaign slogan so often heard at campaign rallies and still used in public by the President — demonstrates his exact mindset with which 62 million Americans who voted for him agree. That slogan and its meaning flies in the faces of all those on the Left (and Right) who wished to maintain the status quo in government. That is where the “Great Divide” inside the Beltway resides. Lefties and Establishment Republicans summarily reject his methods while the Americans who elected him on the most part love them. So what else besides his Queens heritage drives his boat?

He hates “Average.” In fact, this President views “Average” as “Failure.” And to be honest, it really is.

In school there are several ways to make average grades. Average is a “C.” To be an average student through a time period, the student can make on tests an equal number of “A’s” as “F’s,” an equal number of “B’s” as “D’s,” or simply all “C’s.” Trump’s thought process is this: making all “C’s” means the student is incapable to do better or is too lazy to do better and just takes the easy road. Or that student accepts less than average as an accomplishment. OR, THAT STUDENT FEELS FAILING IS ALLRIGHT. That simply does not work in the Trump world.

Failure is not OK with the President. Neither is average. Some on the Left may understand this mindset but reject it. The alternative is that simply accepting average regardless of how it occurs is unacceptable for multiple reasons. For the United States, Trump’s attitude is “We can do better than average.” And on his watch, America WILL do better than average.

Why is doing this so consuming the President? He understands that allowing this and future generations to accept average as all-right will result in unnecessary and undesired failures in every area of American life. It is true that no two people are exactly alike or have the exact same abilities. What is average for some might be above average for others. What is average for some might be failure for others. What determines which is applicable is the capabilities of each.

To Trump the “sin” is the acceptance of less than what CAN be accomplished. Doing so feeds the settling for average. The danger in doing so is that the bar slides lower and lower and the level of acceptable achievement slides with it. Every drive to achieve, DO better, BE better, and make the U.S. better steadily declines.

President Trump summarily rejects average, less than best in his family, his businesses, the White House, and the Congress — not because he is narcissistic or gaudy or vain or smarter or better than others. He does it because he wants and expects the best FROM Americans which will always result in the best FOR Americans.

The President gets it, 62 million American voters get it, and so do many on the Left. They are terrified of it. Why? They know if a majority of Americans learn the truth of his methods, the Liberal Left are toast.

If the Establishment Republicans don’t get it, the GOP is toast.

Do the Tax Cuts Help You?

If you listen to the Liberal Left (including Nancy Pelosi who termed the new tax law as “Armageddon”) you probably believe that only rich Americans will see their taxes cut. Not true.

While it is true that not every American will see their taxes reduced, almost ALL Americans will. The Left in their all-consuming quest to denigrate every potential legislative win for this Administration have already shown how rabid they are about disproving the truths in the new tax law. So why don’t we expose THEIR lies with the TRUTH. That’s a novel approach, right?

Do the American Middle Class receive a tax cut under the new tax law or as Pelosi and othe liberals claim see their tax burden rise?  The Pew Research Center — a truly non-partisan group — state that 71% of Americans fall in the “Middle Class” with an income range of $24,000 to $73,000 for a single person. Keep those numbers in mind when examining the numbers below.

Let’s look at a bunch of different income levels for Americans and give tax reduction facts. There are many lines with tax detail here so don’t be discouraged. Find your income range for factual tax information under the new law:

Why the Democrat Dis-information?

Dems cannot afford to allow Americans to believe President Trump and the GOP are doing anything to benefit Americans. Anything Republicans do must always be perceived to be for the wealthy at the expense of the American Middle Class. Why? Democrats have convinced (through their constant daily anti-conservative rhetoric) middle class Americans, minorities and immigrants that Democrats are the only ones who care for them. The exact opposite of that is true. But for Democrats to ever succeed politically they MUST control minority votes. And in the past they have mastered doing so.

Example: compare the income class factual tax information above for each income range of the American middle class. There is no political posturing in those numbers. Yet Democrat leaders shout from the housetops of the theft of middle class income through tax breaks for the wealthy under the new tax law.

Remember this fundamental of the Democrats: the only reason they “champion” lower income and minority segments of the population is for their votes. If that is not true explain why else would they ALL in unison lie about these tax cuts? They think these Americans are too uneducated, too intellectually inferior to understand. And God help those relegated to that “basket of deplorables!”

Summary

I urge you to copy and paste the link to this post into a group email to your friends and associates. They too are smart enough to understand the truth just as you do, right? Give them the chance! Paste the link in a Post on your Facebook page.

We need to let everyone we know two things about this: The Democrats from top to bottom are lying about the tax law; and beginning in February all middle class Americans will see their take-home pay increase because of the law. How long ago was the last paycheck take-home increase you saw?

One more thing to hash out in your mind: these cuts (if Congress will leave them alone and make them permanent) will result in government tax revenue growth beyond the amount needed to cover the cost of these tax cuts and to a level that will justify MORE tax relief. How? More of what we are witnessing today: confidence by individuals and companies sufficient for them to spend more because they have more, increase hiring, make new infrastructure investment, expansion to new locations and markets, and give workers salary increases.

With all this you can believe “The Best is Yet to Come!”

“Deep State” DOJ: Current U.S. Intelligence Process Must Go Away!

The corruption, collusion, false information, political bias, and conflicts of interest that are always normal and expected reasons for law enforcement, judicial, and intelligence recusals have simply been lost on the members of management of every Intelligence agency. Shockingly the Mainstream Media have covered many of these instances, although they are seldom reported in the negative fashion they deserve or that such actions are egregious at best and in many cases illegal. From Susan Rice (former NSA Director) to James Comey, James Clapper, John Brennan, Samantha Powers (former UN Ambassador), Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein, Chris Rey of the FBI, Andrew McCabe, even Robert Mueller, you will find at best conflicts of interest in all and at worst crimes for numerous federal law violations. It MUST stop. But it’s pretty difficult to extinguish a 10 alarm fire with a squirt gun. There’s far too much fire to put out with the little bit of water being used. The water pressure has got to be amped up.

Intelligence Gathering/Reporting: Whys and Hows

Writers of the Constitution had no idea of what intelligence gathering was besides simply asking questions and getting answers. There was no reason for that and therefore no intelligence guidelines included in the Constitution. Subsequently every Administration has constantly been implementing and revising Intelligence operational guidelines. Unfortunately for Americans those processes from their inception have all been politically driven.

Through U.S. history anytime the country has faced foreign policy issues that sometimes have resulted in military action, Administrations have used those to justify intensification of intelligence operations. And when dealing with foreign governments, Americans have given administrations blanket authority to do anything deemed necessary to keep us safe. U.S. politicians and intelligence political appointees have weaponized intelligence operations that have emboldened most of if not all past administrations. That did not start with Trump or Obama. That process was long in place under Bush 43, Clinton, Bush 41 (former CIA Director), Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, Johnson, JFK, and even Eisenhower. It’s simple: the most powerful person in the U.S. is the President. And Presidents can classify and de-classify documents and information at their whim whenever they so choose. Many presidents have used that power to fuel political advantage for themselves and their political parties, and to attack political foes. That is why we are having this conversation today.

Recent History

Let’s “assume” this type of operation has been in full swing for decades. It is blatantly obvious through the bevy of 24/7 instant news in the last decade. Take as an example the Obama Administration. Former Attorney General Eric Holder oversaw and approved the gun running operation from the southern border into Mexico: “Fast and Furious.” After the murders of several Border Patrol officers this operation became public. Holder testified under oath before Congress. He was caught lying and was charged by Congress for Criminal Perjury. The D.C. Federal Attorney — and Obama appointee — refused to prosecute Holder. Why? For both political and intelligence department corruption.

When Holder resigned, the A.G. for the eastern district of New York — Loretta Lynch — was appointed as his replacement by Obama. Her work record is rife with acts of obstruction and borderline illegalities. While HRC was under investigation and Bill was at least a witness in that same case, Lynch had the famous tarmac meeting with Bill: highly irregular, unethical, and a travesty of justice. She also (according to FBI Director Comey) instructed the HRC “investigation” to instead be officially termed a “matter.” Quoting Comey, “The FBI does not conduct ‘matters.’ The FBI investigates crimes.”

Obama himself made numerous attempts to impact federal legal matters, many of which impacted intelligence operations. He authorized that Mexican gun running operation. He was famously caught on an unexpected open microphone sending word to Vladimir Putin that he (Obama) would be in a better place to do more with Russia after his re-election in 2012. He scoffed at Trump’s assertion of Russian tampering of U.S. elections. We later learned that Obama had known for several years of real Russian attempted election interference but had done nothing about it or even investigated it.

Then there’s Hillary.

Clinton Campaign “Email-Gate” Will Not (and Should Not) Go Away

President Trump the morning of January 2, 2018, tweeted this about former Hillary Clinton top aid Huma Abedin:

“Crooked Hillary Clinton’s top aid, Huma Abedin, has been accused of disregarding basic security protocols. She put Classified Passwords into the hands of foreign agents. Remember sailors pictures on submarine? Jail! Deep State Justice Dept must finally act? Also on Comey & others”

The U.S. State Department in a December 29th news dump, released a batch of emails from Huma Abedin’s account that were discovered by the FBI on a laptop belonging to her estranged husband, Anthony Weiner. At least four of the documents were marked “classified.” Abedin also forwarded sensitive State Department emails to her personal Yahoo email account before every Yahoo account was hacked, first reported by the Daily Caller. Abedin also sent passwords for her government laptop to her Yahoo account on Aug. 24, 2009. In 2013, Yahoo was hacked, and the company said in a statement that “all Yahoo user accounts were affected” by the theft. Former FBI Director James Comey, who led the Clinton email investigation, said during a congressional hearing earlier this year that he believed Abedin forwarded emails to Weiner for him to print out so that she could give them to Clinton.

The FBI “matter” of investigating the Hillary Campaign’s use of that infamous private server and subsequent illegal mishandling of classified documents and information and Comey’s exoneration of Hillary for any criminal liability made World news and still does. We will not here re-try her. (It is apparent that investigation is in process by the Trump Justice Department) Let’s just say that all of this ongoing unscrupulous if not criminal activity by dozens of those involved with the Intelligence Community have destroyed every semblance of impartiality and real justice by and for anyone in the U.S. — unless you are a “favorite” of many of those at the top of those Intel agencies appointed by past Presidents.

None of the political favoritism disparity between political elites and common everyday Americans is more obvious than what is front-and-center in today’s news about this. Kristian Saucier was ordered by a judge to serve six months of home confinement with electronic monitoring during a three-year period of supervised release after the prison time. He pleaded guilty to unauthorized detention of defense information and had faced five to six years in prison under federal sentencing guidelines. Saucier admitted to taking six photos of classified areas inside the USS Alexandria in 2009 when he was a 22-year-old machinist mate on the submarine. The photos showed the nuclear reactor compartment, the auxiliary steam propulsion panel and the maneuvering compartment, prosecutors said.

Here’s the rub: his crimes for which he served jail time and still wears an electronic ankle bracelet while in house arrest violated the exact same federal laws as did Hillary Clinton and members of her campaign. Yet James Comey exonerated her giving several excuses that had no legal basis. How so? Political favoritism and obligation. Saucier was just a sailor and had no political clout.

How Can we Fix the Intelligence Community?

  1. Let all the current investigations of perpetrators play out, BUT make certain ALL are investigated and violators prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law;
  2. Pass Congressional laws revamping the accountability process of all in the Intelligence Community making similar actions as have been revealed and then confirmed by hard evidence felony actions punishable by imprisonment;
  3. Terminate the employment of EVERY Intelligence Agency Head and those at least two levels deep. Yes, this is severe. But doing this will accomplish two critical pieces to creating an Intelligence Community without political obligations: eliminate those department heads who are “in the tank” for certain political persuasions that have for several decades used Intelligence matters for personal and political purposes rather than meting out “justice for all.” It will also thunder through the Intelligence Community that political hacking and partisanship have been eliminated and will no longer be tolerated in the FBI, CIA, NSA, and other Agencies;
  4. Conducting #3 and having President Trump in person explain to a mass convocation of the Intelligence Community “working class” that Americans (and the President) are proud of those everyday Intelligence workers who give their lives to make and keep America safe. And because of that trust it is necessary to go back to basics, rid the process of personal and political agendas, and return Intelligence to Lady Liberty and that no longer will anyone put a hand on her scale to tip it for ANY reason;
  5. Privatize the FBI, CIA, NSA, DNI, and the other agencies. Why? There is very little the federal government performs in operations better or even as well as when performed by the private sector. Private enterprise does the same work always with a higher level of commitment, work ethic, expertise, impartiality, and much more economically. Why would the private sector not accomplish the same things for national Intelligence?

Summary

No doubt doing this would create massive political outcry — primarily from all those who have in the past and/or in the future take advantage of political partisanship for their personal and/or political advantage. Certainly there will be speed-bumps, glitches, mistakes, and constant revisions in law and operating regulations and procedures. But those are the things those in the private sector are far better qualified and prepared to conduct than are politicians and political appointees. The largest reason to tackle this issue this way is for the purpose of accountability. Think about this: in the present Intelligence environment, for more than 1 year the President has been hounded by the allegations of Russian collusion with not a shred of evidence after hundreds of investigators and committees have spent millions of taxpayer dollars to conduct. And it continues. Yet even though we are certain there are illegalities, conflicts of interest, political bias, and favoritism in these various investigations, even the President cannot for political purposes force the release of the information both good and bad uncovered in these investigations. He every day is forced by the political partisans to fend off wild claims fueled by a wild Mainstream Media who spin 24/7 news lies based on faceless and unnamed anonymous sources of everything from Russian collusion to sexual harassment and even rape by President Trump, none of which has any realistic basis. There’s no way to make it stop other than to simply MAKE IT STOP by “killing” the existing Intelligence Community structure.

Do you realize that the various committees in Congress charged Constitutionally to hold the FBI, CIA, DNI, NSA and other agencies accountable cannot even by subpoena compel these agency heads to provide specific evidence — documents and/or testimony — all of which would shed light on all these crazy happenings? What is the only thing (other than 3rd world throwing perpetrators in jail with no due process) that can clear the slate and re-create a REAL Intelligence Community happen.

It’s no difference than what millions do in their backyards every year: prune the bushes and trees so that in the Spring they will come back bigger, fuller, healthier, and much stronger.

You know the only people that can make this happen? Congress.

Let’s hold our breath waiting for them to take this idea and make it happen.

Ha! Oh well….forget what I wrote here. Congress won’t do ANYTHING!
