Saturday Bullet Points: November 27, 2021

Who would have thought last Saturday the events of this week have unfolded as they did. We had just heard of the acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse for all charges against him in the Kenosha, Wisconsin incident in which three were shot, two of which died. Two days later, a man sped down Mainstreet in Waukesha, Wisconsin, during a Christmas parade using his SUV to run over at least 65 people who were innocently watching the parade. Six were killed, and 50 or more were seriously wounded. And then Wednesday, we watched as three were found guilty of first-degree murder and other charges in the vigilante shooting of the Ahmaud Arbery in Georgia. The week couldn’t contain any more serious stuff happening, right? Wrong!

We grabbed ALL the big news on ALL the big stories in the past week and give you the most important ones in today’s Saturday Bullet Points. Read the descriptive sentences following each bullet point. If you want more info than those sentences provide, click on the blue arrow link at the end and go to a full story. It’s the best and simplest way to get the hot stories without having to fast-forward through dozens of “snoozers!”

Let’s get it started!

Bullet Points

  • Though the Kenosha jury unanimously found Kyle Rittenhouse innocent on all charges, many on the Left still scream about the injustice of the verdict, especially since the State Media for a year have portrayed the 17-year-old as a beast with no heart or feelings. Imagine what Americans discovered when the truth came out! He DID NOT break any gun laws. He DID NOT chase anyone with a gun. He DID use his gun to protect himself from three men chasing him AFTER they attacked him. In fact, one FBI agent this week explained how Kyle took the perfect steps in everything that happened that night. For complete details, click on this link:
  • I’m certain you have not already forgotten those Loudoun County Virginia parents who, when discovering their children were being taught Critical Race Theory in public schools, confronted in very public fashion those school board members in televised meetings. Words were very pointed and delivered in demonstrative anger. But do you remember that in Fairfax County, Virginia, parents successfully got books removed from their public schools that promoted illicit sex that included pictures and taught students it was all right for young boys to have sex with men! That is the definition of pedophilia. Guess what? The public schools in Fairfax County are putting those books back into schools. For complete details, click on this link:
  • The Rittenhouse trial dominated the news for the past 30 days. Because of that, the trial of three Georgians for the murder of Ahmaud Arbery received little coverage — until the jury came in with the verdicts of the three killers. They were all found guilty on multiple counts that included convictions for First Degree Murder. The perpetrators were white, while Ahmaud was African-American. Surely that fact sealed the deal that justice was served in that white men that executed a black man saw the book thrown at them. It comes as no surprise that President Biden seems to disagree with that statement. For complete details, click on this link:
  • The perpetrator of that SUV-mayhem in Waukesha has a massive file of criminal infractions in his wake that stretch all the way back to 1999. It’s incredible that people in the legal system let him slide time after time when committing a criminal act, many of which were felonies, giving him extremely low bail, if any at all. In fact, he was released just days before the Waukesha horror show after posting just $1000 bail for attempting to murder his wife with the same SUV! We’ve learned much about him. But something very odd showed up: he was a YouTube rapper! For complete details, click on this link:
  • Are you at least a little concerned about the rapidly rising costs of almost everything in the nation? A huge majority of Americans feel like this President has lost all credibility when it comes to managing our economy, protecting us from foreign invaders, and managing our Defense Systems. Inflation is driving prices to records for higher than any inflation numbers in 30 years. Never fear, however: Hillary took time to tell Americans that Joe Biden’s accomplishments as President are being overlooked in a television appearance. We’re “not give Joe a chance!” For complete details, click on this link:
  • At long last, it appears there is some pending good news coming about our southern border invasion. After initiating and managing the largest and most illegal immigration process in U.S. history, Joe Biden’s hand has been called by federal courts. He has been instructed to restart the “Remain in Mexico” program initiated during the Trump Administration. Trump’s actions saw an immediate drop in illegal crossings to just a trickle before Biden canceled the program his first day as President, which began the flood of 2 million illegals into our country. And Biden hasn’t been in office yet one year! For complete details, click on this link:
  • We learned on Thanksgiving Day that COVID-19 had created ANOTHER variant. This one was seen first in South Africa. Experts tell us this variant is apparently the worst COVID-19 strain yet. Though little is known about it, the WHO is in meetings to put the process together to engage all the scientists necessary to learn as much as possible about this strain of the virus and to take swift actions to stop it. What does that mean? I can see rampant panic gripping countries across the Globe with egregious lockdowns and, of course, more new vaccines! For complete details, click on this link:
  • Wednesday, I listened to the findings of the Ahmaud Arbery junior read aloud at the trial in Georgia of three men who murdered an African American man out for a jog through a neighborhood. A father, son, and a neighbor actually took video of them chasing Arbery all the way through the shooting. This trial and the anticipation of verdicts not being what many thought were justified had activists from all over the country — including a group of black militants — who publicly declared what would “probably” happen with the McMichaels and their neighbor did not receive guilty verdicts. They got their wish! For complete details, click on this link:
  • It actually surprised me to learn that the Biden White House asked a federal appeals court to overturn the stay of ANOTHER federal appeals court that twice denied the Biden attempt to implement through OSHA that mandatory vaccine for the employees of private companies with 100 or more employees. Yes, many have shared my conviction I’ve held for some time that the Left has little respect for our judiciary system — especially when it interferes with their political ideals. While millions of Americans face losing their jobs for rejecting one of the COVID-19 vaccinations, Biden is hell-bent on forcing every American to be vaccinated, “Or Else.” For complete details, click on this link:
  • Not everybody has caved and honored the Biden vaccine mandate. In fact, across the nation, as numerous companies face losing massive numbers of workers who refuse to vax, Biden doubles down on that push while businesses have gone to war. A group is asking a court to stop the rush to force vaccinations on employees using a threat of losing employment if not vaccinated. This further illustrates Biden’s disdain for the Rule of Law. And, whatever happened to that “My body, by choice” cry from the Left? Where is that today? For complete details, click on this link:
  • That cry birthed immediately following the tragic killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis to “Defund the Police” has created all kinds of havoc across the nation where towns and cities have actually — at least in part — defunded their police forces. Story after story appears recounting horrors that happen because police forces almost in total are experiencing shortages in the workforce that are dangerously impacting the services they provide protecting the populace. Sadly, one young man looked on as his father died in the midst of an incident because there were not a sufficient number of police available on the scene to save his Dad’s life. For complete details, click on this link:
  • Daily we hear of more horrors hidden in Biden’s “Build Back Better” bill pending consideration by the U.S. Senate next week. Besides being the largest spending bill in American history, it’s full of paybacks, pork projects, government giveaways, and pieces of legislation that, if enacted, will take our nation to the point of no return by turning a massive segment of our nation into dependents forever sustained financially by the government. Additionally, through one such revelation, we learned that the bill is packed with bonuses amounting to millions of dollars to cartels from Mexico for the children they smuggle into the nation! What About Those “Evil” Pilgrims?

We just finished a wonderful Thanksgiving in our family. We all met under one roof, shared amazing food, and caught up on the details of our ever-aging “seniors” while glorying in the accomplishments of the “youngsters.” We had a lot of fun!

There certainly are members of our family that have serious issues in their lives. My mother-in-law is 95 and is struggling with what appears to be the early stages of dementia. One of the grandchildren is going through a divorce. Another granddaughter is breathlessly watching the results of annual tests to make certain the surgeons got ALL the breast cancer more than ten years ago and that she’s still “clear.”

The truth is, every family, every person, and every group of persons have issues. And all have made mistakes. We all must make our own ways in life and follow those stepping stones and paths we choose because they are the best ones as we determine. Sometimes we make good choices, and others are not so good. But that’s life.

Sadly, as we entered Thanksgiving season, the “Wokesters” came out in full force. We’ve lived through several years of the deafening cries from some for “reparations” for the “sins of White ancestors who enslaved African Americans.” And it doesn’t stop with African Americans. EVERY segment of people based on THEIR differences can say, “somebody owes me reparations for something that someone else did to me that was wrong.” Those “wrongs” DO happen. Do they happen because of racism, hatred, just plain evil, or do they happen because humans are being humans?

If we required each other to not only identify our past mistakes and wrongs and then to pay someone for those wrongs, we would NEVER complete the repayment process.

Wednesday, the State Media were blanketed by “Wokesters,” who nastily denigrated Thanksgiving and our longstanding celebration for our forefathers finding the New World and creating this new nation. And as “Wokesters” and State Media on-air talents must do, they cried loudly, proclaiming how evil where those settlers and everyone who doesn’t attack our founders for their genocidal tendencies.

The pilgrims brought genocide with them is the cry today from all on the Left — even among Native Americans:

While you’re struggling to relate to what you just saw and heard, consider this explanation for the media madness we are living in — especially this Thanksgiving season:

Americans have a great and exuberant tradition that touches our sense of belonging and our pride in coming together. No, I am not referring to Thanksgiving, that festival of gratitude, generosity, and welcome. I am referring to the equally great and exuberant tradition of trash-talking other people.

Supposedly we have reformed. Ethnic slurs that were once common have retreated to the dark corners of dive bars and the even darker corners of anti-social media. We live in a time when a whole new admonitory vocabulary has emerged to warn people away from anything remotely racist. “Cultural appropriation” is taboo—as must be the word “taboo” itself, a Tongan word appropriated into English by Capt. James Cook.

We worry about demeaning stereotypes, microaggressions, implicit bias, normativity, neo-colonialism, and the “othering” of others. Surely we are more enlightened than those vile, imperialistic, hate-filled, white, heteronormative people who… Oops.

Ethnic slurs haven’t disappeared. They have just slipped into a new register. Black lives matter, but “all lives matter?” Them’s fighting words. Attacking someone else, after all, is a classic way of demonstrating loyalty to one’s own group, claiming group superiority, and policing the edges.

Gyasi Ross, a Blackfeet (Native American) author (Huffington Post, Gawker, and Indian Country Today) attorney, “rapper, speaker and storyteller,” explained on MSNBC the other day, speaking of the Mayflower Pilgrims, “Instead of bringing stuffing and biscuits, those settlers brought genocide and violence.” Speaking of Thanksgiving, Ross adds, “That genocide and violence is still on the menu.”

If take this as an attempt to right the historical record, it is hopeless. The Pilgrims didn’t bring “genocide” to America. They barely brought themselves, with half of their company dying that first winter, in 1620-21.

For that matter, genocide was already here among native peoples, who frequently fought wars of extermination against rival tribes. The archaeological record testifies to such events, and Europeans had little to teach the native peoples they encountered anything about ambush, torture, and the death penalty.

But if Ross is simply attempting to show off his command of vituperative insult towards people of a tribe other than his own, he has done a pretty good job. His pitch is that the “white people” have a Thanksgiving “mythology” that portrays the Pilgrims as “having brought something of great value that enriches the people who are already here.” But the truth is that the Pilgrims “were broke,” and “they brought nothing of value.”

That, however, was hardly the view of the Wampanoag, with whom the white settlers of Plymouth celebrated that feast in the fall of 1621 that we call the first Thanksgiving. The Wampanoag first of all saw the Pilgrims as a valuable ally against their enemies, the Narragansett, who appeared ready to attack.

They signed a treaty with the settlers that lasted unbroken for 50 years. The Wampanoag also eagerly engaged the settlers in trade to gain access to European manufactured goods. Moreover, the Pilgrims brought Christianity, which within a generation attracted a large number of Indian converts.

Granted, Ross may see all of this as “nothing of value,” but who is Ross to judge the decisions of 17th century Native Americans, rendered desperate by an epidemic disease that killed most of their tribe—a disease that swept through New England years before the Pilgrims arrived?

The real truth is that Ross has a niche in contemporary American life that has nothing to do with his ancestry or culture. It is the niche of a professional angertainer. It plays well on TV and other media because, after all, articulate displays of anger are indeed entertaining, and also because we need some comic relief dressed up as indignation. This isn’t always or necessarily bad: Let’s go, Brandon!

But humped-up anger is pretty much all the leftist media have to offer us these days. Real arguments grounded in facts are in short supply for the Bidenized left, but sneers presented as if they reveal hidden realities can still energize the base. After all, Nicole Hannah-Jones has just conjured a 600-page book out of her imaginary version of the American past. Condensed version: white men caused every harm, every misery, every injustice inflicted on black people from 1619 to today. Ross has the advantage of brevity.

Those Mayflower Pilgrims brought a few other items that also missed Ross’s list. They brought religious tolerance both as a principle and as a practice. The Mayflower Compact guaranteed that all the settlers, only about half of whom were Pilgrims, would enjoy the right to confess their own faiths. (The Puritans, who arrived later and settled Massachusetts Bay, were not tolerant.)

The settlers of Plymouth had one more thing: democratic self-government. Eventually Plymouth became the model for the New England town and, from there, the English settlement of the whole country.

Today the left professes to despise colonialism and to see nothing but the usurpation of people and destruction of the environment as the consequence. This is a little odd, given that the left also generally favors the abolition of national borders.

I don’t know if that applies in Ross’s case. He may want to keep the borders (or perhaps expand them) of the Blackfeet Reservation in Montana. The loss of control of land, loss of independence, and other indignities by Native Americans were experienced by many as a dismal fate.

But history is complex. Some Native Americans embraced Western civilization; some sought a synthesis of tradition and the West; and some, like Ross, found places within the Western tradition where accusation and anger became a new kind of currency.

In that vein, hating Thanksgiving, like hating Columbus, has become a ritual. Some people watch the Macy’s Parade; some watch football; some enjoy the homecoming of relatives; some offer God sincere prayers of gratitude. And some make up stories about violence and genocide.

Summary

We all have a choice on this matter: adopt an attitude of thankfulness for all we have, including our opportunities, while recognizing we make mistakes and bad choices that negatively impact others, but we are willing to acknowledge our wrongs and reconcile with those wronged. Or we can toe the line of the Wokesters who command unilateral authority to label everything and everybody and set ALL the social rules that we must follow. The two options are mutually exclusive. And, sadly, the Wokesters led by the State Media are really good at ignoring all the good they experience because of what those evil Pilgrims did.

As for me, I’m thankful! I will always be thankful. I will always thank God “in all things.” I choose to do so. And the fact that the woke crowd choose the other option will NOT impact my decisions.

My operating mantra? “Do unto others what you’d have them do unto you.”

If you want to do life the other way, go for it. Meanwhile, I’m going to wish everybody I see a “Merry Christmas!”

I ain’t Woke!

We Have It Pretty Good

Americans began celebrating Thanksgiving long before there was a United States. For hundreds of years, the colonies celebrated a day for local communities to come together and give thanks to God.

It was not until the height of national division, during the Civil War, that President Abraham Lincoln first set a uniform date for the nationwide celebration of Thanksgiving.

“In the midst of a civil war of unequalled magnitude and severity,” Lincoln wrote, “order has been maintained, the laws have been respected and obeyed, and harmony has prevailed everywhere except in the theatre of military conflict.”

Lincoln went on to note that the Civil War had not prevented settlers from expanding the nation’s borders, nor slowed the development of the land’s natural resources, nor stopped the population from continuing to grow. “They are the gracious gifts of the Most High God,” Lincoln wrote, “who, while dealing with us in anger for our sins, hath nevertheless remembered mercy.”

There is no civil war today as there was when Lincoln first set a national day of thanks, and thank goodness for that. But the nation is clearly divided to an extent perhaps not seen since then.

Woke police have so captured higher education and corporate America that most people are now scared to speak their minds in the classroom and at work. And forget about a president mentioning the “Most High God” in a proclamation; that simply is no longer acceptable. The First Amendment has never been in greater danger.

Indeed, the entirety of the Bill of Rights is under attack as Democrats seek to undermine the very structure of our constitutional republic. Packing the court, musing over how to add the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico as states, abusing executive authority to pass vaccine mandates, abandoning the rule of law to enable a mass illegal migration. We are teetering close to no longer being a country of laws.

This November, however, has ushered in a season of hope. The scales are falling from people’s eyes. Parents across the country are pushing back against the hateful lies told about our country in public schools. Majorities now say they want illegal migrants turned back at the border. Prosecutors who have refused to send criminals to jail are facing recall elections in the bluest of cities.

The public is awakening. People know there are still many reasons why we should be thankful to live in this glorious country. Focus on those reasons and have a wonderful holiday.

Remember this: our forefathers — regardless of what revisionists historians claim — embedded Christian principles in our nation’s structure. We would be wise to remember that and honor the fact that even though not part of the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. Constitution, “One nation under God” was enshrined in the Pledge of Allegiance by our national leaders. They KNEW where good comes from. And they applauded that.

While you share these holidays with those you love, remember to express your thanks for all that you have — even the bad stuff. “Thank God IN all things” is the verbiage used during Thanksgiving dinner prayers. It doesn’t say we should thank God FOR all things. We all have problems, roadblocks, and travesties in our lives. But we all live in the United States of America!

We truly have it pretty good.

Be thankful!

Bidenflation Is Skyrocketing

Have you noticed your dollar doesn’t stretch quite as far this year as last year? It makes no difference if you’re spending that dollar on food, utilities, school clothes for the kids, or getting the dog vaccinated. That dollar doesn’t achieve the same results as it did a year ago. What could be the problem?

Don’t you dare claim that there’s inflation! President Biden and his White House Press Secretary strike back against any, and all who maintain Biden policies are fueling massive inflation now at epic levels unseen since the peanut farmer from Georgia took office in 1977.

Why are prices so high and goods and products so tough to get? The answer to that will vary dramatically depending on who answers that question. Most economists quickly respond with the “I” word: “Inflation.” But, other economists call this inflation that indeed has joined our lives as just being “transitory” — that it will quietly melt away during early 2022 as the supply of goods and products regain their regular cycles.

So who’s got the correct answer?

Last week, President Biden went to Baltimore to address a group there about the current economic problems for all Americans. Inflation dominated the conversation. But, as usual, Biden blamed our inflation on everything and everyone other than his policies and his decisions. As always, he comforted his audience with promises that things would get better soon. Why? Because President Biden is “getting it done!”

Is “Bidenflation” Going to Continue and Rise Even Higher?

It costs more to pay rent each month, fill up a gas tank every week and put food on the table every day. So, at a moment when the dollar doesn’t go as far as it once did, should Americans worry that injecting another $1.85 trillion into the economy might increase inflation?

No, Jen Psaki told Peter Alexander this week. And why not? Well, the White House press secretary explained to the NBC News correspondent, “Because no economist out there is projecting that this will have a negative impact on inflation.”

Of course, that isn’t true. There are many economists out there, and some warn that the Build Back Better plan will further increase the prices that dog consumers and can doom the careers of politicians. But the existence of economists with views contrary to those held by the president’s National Economic Council isn’t entirely the point. At issue is the fulfillment of something Joe Biden said back in April 2020. “Milton Friedman,” he said as a candidate, “isn’t running the show anymore.” And nothing could be more authentic now that Biden is the president.

As the first year of his administration nears completion, inflation has emerged as an unwelcome Biden partner. It has not hit the double-digit levels that propelled Friedman, the late Nobel Prize laureate who warned about the dangers of an unchecked money supply, to prominence in the late 1970s. But consumer prices jumped 6.2%, years over year, in October, the most significant such increase in three decades.

“There’s no doubt inflation is high right now. It’s affecting Americans’ pocketbooks. It’s affecting their outlook,” Brian Deese, director of the National Economic Council, told Chuck Todd on NBC’s “Meet the Press” Sunday. “But it’s important that we put this in context. When the president took office, we were facing an all-out economic crisis.”

The White House argues that those inflation numbers are “transitory” and will eventually come down. The temporary pain that consumers feel, they contend, is the result of pent-up demand and kinks in the supply chain, not because of excesses in government spending. Two of the president’s other economic advisers, Jared Bernstein and Ernie Tedeschi, dismissed early inflation warnings and predicted that price increases “should fade over time as the economy recovers from the pandemic.” That was in April.

But lingering inflation hasn’t diminished the administration’s appetite for spending: the $1.2 trillion infrastructure plan signed into law this week or the $1.85 Build Back Better plan that’s still pending in Congress. The White House has shooed away concerns in recent weeks by pointing to a letter from 17 Nobel laureates who predict that the spending “will ease longer-term inflationary pressures” and to an analysis by Moody’s Investor Services that reached the same conclusion.

“They’re all wrong,” said Steven Hanke, a professor of applied economics at Johns Hopkins University. He doesn’t deny that supply chains are backed up or that there may be pent-up demand. But Hanke stated that those are “ad hoc excuses.” Inflation is being driven by “the money supply which has increased by over 35% since COVID-19, an unprecedented explosion since World War II.”

Along with John Greenwood, chief economist at the investment management company Invesco in London, Hanke compares the situation to a bathtub with three drains. The first two drains are economic growth and savings. In the absence of inflation, money that flows into the tub easily flows out of the tub through those two drains. “But if more money is flowing in than out,” the two maintained in a recent Wall Street Journal op-ed, “the level of money rises. It will eventually reach the overflow, which is the inflation drain.”

An alumnus of the Reagan administration and a fervent supply-sider, Hanke notes that between December 2019 and August 2021, the supply of dollars in circulation grew by $5.5 trillion, “a stunning 35.7% increase in only a year-and-a-half, driven primarily by the Federal Reserve’s purchase of Treasury and mortgage-backed securities.”

Enter Biden and his human-infrastructure package. In Detroit on Wednesday, the president argued that his plan “is fully paid for” and does not increase the deficit “one single cent.” The administration insists that the spending plan would be paid for by new taxes on top earners who make more than $400,000. That might be true if the bill reaches Biden’s desk includes those tax increases, an unpopular possibility currently being debated in Congress. But that’s a big if: Sen. Joe Manchin, a must for passage in the upper chamber, has repeatedly expressed his concerns.

There are other snags. As the New York Times reports, the head of the Congressional Budget Office warned Monday that cracking down on tax evaders would produce about $120 billion, not the $400 billion Biden is relying on to cover some of the spending. While a complete formal analysis is still expected, Hanke and others argue that deficit spending “makes the Fed’s job a lot more difficult” because when the Treasury Department issues new bonds to cover that debt, “what are they going to do? Say, ‘Oh, no — we’re not going to buy anymore.’ They are buying those bonds. That’s why the balance sheet of the Fed gets bigger and bigger. And that’s why the money supply gets bigger and bigger.”

“The notion that increased government spending doesn’t carry the risk of inflation,” said Michael Jay Boskin, an economics professor at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, “is economically illiterate.” Increased government spending adds to the total demand for goods and services, he said, “such that we are risking inflation, and the Biden administration seems to be trying to divert attention. There is a risk that inflation may become entrenched. It’s hard to imagine a worse outcome than an inflation spiral.”

Chairman of the president’s Council of Economic Advisers from 1989 to 1993, Boskin notes that “a very large fraction” of the relief payments the federal government sent out in 2020 and 2021 was either saved or has yet to be spent. “That is a lot of government spending floating around the system now in the pockets of consumers and the budgets of state and local governments,” waiting to flood the economy further.

On the question of inflation, examples of it existing currently are plentiful—a flood of dollars chasing too few goods. The money supply is an overflowing bathtub. But anti-tax conservative Stephen Moore prefers a more colorful one: “dumping gasoline on a forest fire.” A member of former President Trump’s economic task force, Moore questions the Biden administration’s explanation for inflation, precisely the idea that the problem is pent-up demand post-pandemic. “Because if that’s the case, why did we spend $2 trillion earlier this year,” he said of the American Rescue Plan. “It doesn’t make any sense.”

The White House likely won’t heed his warnings or those of any naysayers. Analysis from Reagan and Bush alumni — let alone Trump advisers — certainly isn’t in fashion in this administration, especially since, as Biden noted more than a year ago, Milton Friedman “isn’t running the show anymore.”

Summary

What’s missing from this administration are the “answers,” not the “wishes” of what can and will be done by this government to trample inflation to death. Additionally, instead of continually telling Americans, “My administration is going to do everything possible to kick inflation to the curb. It’s a natural occurrence anytime an economy comes roaring back quicker than it shrunk. I took this head-on even before I took office. We’re getting it done.”

Those empty words from Biden merely echo similar empty rhetoric he used to tell us how he had tackled the supply chain issues even before he was sworn into office! Of course, his claims are never followed with specifics that verify something IS going on to fix the supply chain.

There’s one terrifying thing about our inflation problem: Biden historically is quick with words and always makes promises that fit “a” moment. He, nor Psaki, nor anyone else in his group have given us definitive processes that he claims were initiated January 20th and even before. And because he seldom speaks to real journalists who ask real questions, we have little or no idea if there are even plans to curb inflation.

At first, it was humorous to watch Mr. Biden embarrass himself in so many ways. Then, it became sad. Now, it is horrifying to think that there probably has been NOTHING done about inflation!

Whoever is or are the handlers of President Biden needs to understand something: Americans’ concerns are turning to panic regarding the nation’s financial dilemma that dramatically destroys the value of their dollars. That is happening while President Biden still touts the rising income levels of American workers. He fails to acknowledge that Bidenflation surpasses any financial gains those pay hikes initiate.

Equal Justice Under The Law Is NOT “Equal” According To Some

Equal Justice Under The Law Is NOT “Equal” According To Some

Many Americans have been anxious for several years about the dramatic shift to the left regarding law enforcement and the judiciary system. With the advent of cries for “equity” to replace the “equality” guaranteed in the Constitution, a new justice process has stealthily slipped in. It is changing the fundamentals of law that have existed for 260 years. What is happening? Let’s start at the beginning.

Equality

“All men are created equal” is the fundamental and most important tenet of liberty that our founders espoused. Our nation was based on it — PERIOD. It means that no one is above the law. Kings are not above the law, groups are not above the law, no individual is above the law, but there is “equal justice under law.”

In 1776, the idea that no one is above the law was popular during the founding of the United States. In the pamphlet Common Sense, Thomas Paine said, “in America, the law is King, so in free countries, the law ought to be king; and there ought to be no other.”

Today, the Supreme Court is the final authority on interpreting the Constitution and all the statutes and regulations created according to it. Many today feel the SCOTUS should edit or amend U.S. law and are desperate to see it happen. For those, “equality” has been replaced by “equity.” For that to ever be implemented, the Constitution would have to disappear. No matter what we’re told, “equality” and “equity” are NOT the same.

Equity

“Equality” is one of those inalienable rights with which we’re endowed. “Equity” is precisely the opposite. It creates the ability for people to interject their feelings, ideas, emotions, and political perspectives into outcomes of interpretations of laws, as does the Supreme Court. SCOTUS merely interprets the meanings of laws from the Constitution and those passed by our government. They do NOT make or amend laws.

We may not agree with all their interpretation of the laws and statutes, but their interpretations become the law of the land. That’s essentially the driving power of the movement in U.S. politics to do away with equality opting for equity instead. Why? To give power to people to make or change laws based solely on that power and political perspective. The “People” would be, in essence, changed to mean “SOME People” — those with the power to do so.

All government officials in the United States, the President, the Justices of the Supreme Court, and all members of Congress, pledge first and foremost to uphold the Constitution. These oaths affirm that the rule of law is superior to the rule of any human leader.

There’s no doubt this process means less today than it did ten years ago, and it gets diminished daily in 2021-USA.

The opening of the Declaration of Independence, written by Thomas Jefferson in 1776, states as follows:

We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal, endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

When Thomas Jefferson first wrote these words, it was the opposite of the political theory of the day, “The Divine Right of Kings.” The “Divine Right of Kings” was the doctrine of the British Crown asserting that Kings got their right to rule from God and were subject to no one.

Plato wrote around 350 BC:
Where the law is subject to some other authority and has none of its own, the collapse of the state, in my view, is not far off. Still, if the law is the master of the government and the government is its slave, then the situation is full of promise, and men enjoy all the blessings that the gods shower on a state.

Even in 350 BC, the famous theorist of the day recognized the significance and importance of a type of government other than that which gave unilateral authority to a ruling class. The People of a society in charge, according to Plato, is the only way to build a nation that will sustain itself. Jefferson and his fellow patriots understood that — especially after fleeing Europe after living the entirety of their lives under the selfish rule and top-down government across that continent.

The Declaration was the beginning; the Constitution “sealed the deal:” the United States was to be ruled forever by a government that was (and is to be) “Of the People, By the People, and For the People.”

Has that changed?

Hatred And Anger Fueled By Media Failure

The “legacy” media seemed driven to present enough bad news over the past year about Rittenhouse that guilt on all charges was sufficient to result in his conviction. Sadly, a vast number of Americans who bought in for the faux legitimacy of the “legacy” media narrative led to this example of “narrative-driven” hatred for the subjects of a serious news story. I won’t list the dozens of news stories published since that August 2020 night of infamy in Kenosha that portray Kyle Rittenhouse as a white supremacist, a vigilante, or a Nazi sympathizer. But all of the above were instigated and enhanced through the “bigger-is-better” methodology to make so-called “facts” spooned by the media to their fawning followers seem real sufficient to fuel similar acts in Kenosha in Portland, Seattle, and even Minneapolis.

Why would the “legacy” media do that? One reason: ratings. Ratings begat eyeballs, readers, and listeners. Eyeballs, readers, and listeners in large numbers comprise THE targets for advertisers. That all means MONEY.

As has happened in almost every such event during the last five years, the “legacy” media’s ploys to create and establish sellable stories to legitimize ratings sufficient to bring big bucks, when debunked, continue to double and triple down on their lies. And their followers, who are not attached to facts, swallow the belief that “legacy” media folks are 100% factual all the time.

Constitutional Attorney Jonathan Turley weighed in after the Friday verdict that exonerated Rittenhouse of any guilt:

“I do think one of the lessons we are taking from this case is a certain degree of recklessness in the coverage,” Turley said in an afternoon interview with Fox News’s Martha MacCallum. “Many people watching the trial were surprised that there were these countervailing facts, that Rittenhouse did not shoot [Joseph] Rosenbaum — while he was running away — in the back. They were surprised to find out that he was working to take graffiti off of buildings or that he was invited to protect that business. And that’s a dangerous disconnect for society. That’s what causes rage, and it comes from the media.”

Is it any wonder that the only major news outlet that is closest to non-partisanship is FOX News? And FOX, in that quest for eyeballs/ratings/money, leads ALL cable news media in all of these categories.

Could there be something else going on?

The Government’s Role

  • Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) “I was absolutely disappointed in the judge. He demonstrated from the very beginning that he was on the side of the defendant. The business of not letting the jury decide on the gun issue, whether or not he was too young to have had a gun, he took that unto himself. It was unusual for him to allow this defendant to select who the final jurors were going to be. He was outrageous in the way that he conducted himself. Everybody saw that. He was the talk of the country, the way that he conducted himself. He was brazen, he was bold, he was on the side of the defendant, and I don’t think justice has been served.”
  • In a statement Friday, President Joe Biden said that “while the verdict in Kenosha will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included, we must acknowledge that the jury has spoken.” I know that we’re not going to heal our country’s wounds overnight, but I remain steadfast in my commitment to do everything in my power to ensure that every American is treated equally, with fairness and dignity, under the law,” he added.
  • In a statement, Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers, a Democrat, wrote: “No verdict will be able to bring back the lives of Anthony Huber and Joseph Rosenbaum, or heal Gaige Grosskreutz’s injuries, just as no verdict can heal the wounds or trauma experienced by Jacob Blake and his family.”
  • “In America today: you can break the law, carry around weapons built for a military, shoot and kill people, and get away with it,” Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) tweeted in response to the news. “That’s the message we’ve just sent to armed vigilantes across the nation,” Newsom added.
  • “A system that legitimizes vigilante murder is deeply broken,” tweeted Rep. Gwen Moore (D-WI).
  • “What we are witnessing is a system functioning as designed and protecting those it was designed for,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., wrote on Twitter. “My heart still breaks for the communities and families whose grief now compounds and the countless others who will be denied and deprived in similar scenes across the country.
  • “The Congressional Black Caucus called the ruling “unconscionable,” writing on Twitter: “It is unconscionable our justice system would allow an armed vigilante — who traveled to Kenosha, Wisconsin and killed Joseph Rosenbaum, Anthony Huber, and wounded Gaige Grosskreutz — to go free.”
  • “Kyle Rittenhouse is living proof that white tears can still forestall justice,” Rep. Adriano Espaillat (D-NY) wrote on Twitter. “A murderer is once again walking free today — our system is broken.”
  • New York Rep. Jerry Nadler, the chair of the House Judiciary Committee, called it a “heartbreaking verdict” and a “miscarriage of justice,” which “sets a dangerous precedent” and encouraged the Department of Justice to review the matter. “Justice cannot tolerate armed persons crossing state lines looking for trouble while people engage in First Amendment-protected protest,” Nadler wrote on Twitter.
  • New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio called the verdict “disgusting,” saying in a tweet that it sends a “terrible message to this country.” He wrote, “We can’t let this go. We need stronger laws to stop violent extremism from within our nation.”
  • “The judge. The jury. The defendant. It’s white supremacy in action,” Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) said in a tweet. “This system isn’t built to hold white supremacists accountable. It’s why Black and brown folks are brutalized and put in cages while white supremacist murderers walk free.”
  • “We have more peaceful marching to do. To where? Every ballot box across our land. Lace-up,” Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) said in a tweet.
  • “Racism & white supremacy remain the bedrock of our legal system,” Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) wrote on Twitter. “My heart breaks for the family & loved ones of those whose lives were stolen, and the trauma our communities face today and every day. The struggle for accountability, for justice, for healing goes on.”
  • “Our gun laws are protecting the wrong people,” tweeted Rep. Judy Chu (D-CA).

Equal Justice For All?

Kyle Rittenhouse is a white guy. He shot three white guys. Two of those white guys died because he exercised his 2nd Amendment rights. If we didn’t know better, we’d think he certainly is a white supremacist. But everyone was white!

Then there’s this story:

A man who claimed he was defending himself and his girlfriend when he fired shots at deputies during an early-morning raid in 2017 was acquitted Friday of charges that carried a life prison term. A jury found Andrew “A.J.” Coffee IV, 27, not guilty of second-degree felony murder, three counts of attempted first-degree murder of a law enforcement officer by discharging a firearm, and one count of shooting or throwing a deadly missile.

A.J. Coffee IV is a black man. And this black man received “equal justice under the law” THE SAME DAY AS DID KYLE RITTENHOUSE!

Compare the two incidents. Though the specifics are different, the substance was the same: both men defended themselves according to constitutional rights; both actions’ resulted in the death of others. A Difference in skin color, yet both were found innocent.

Truth Leaks Out

Neither of these incidents happened in a vacuum. Together they pull back the curtain on the core of this changing America. We’ve all watched as things changed the last decade: changes in the way politics work, change in the vitriolic delivery of “news” to Americans, change in the atmosphere in our government from top to bottom.

Of course, the legacy media finally found its legitimacy. They used the universal permission granted by their bosses in D.C. to pile on in every way possible to push the Leftist narrative with a universal mandate: destroy ALL opposition to Leftism.

“Have you lost your mind, Dan?”

Nope. And here’s why I can say that. There is NO question there has been something sinister, some undertone, that has quietly crept into every area of public life. We see it in politics, media, interactions between Americans of every ethnicity, and, most of all, in our education systems. The gloves are off, and hardcore leftists have taken the stage front-and-center and are unabashedly cramming the leftist talking points down the throats of Americans — primarily young Americans.

Why else would teachers’ unions go nuts when parents awakened when, thanks to COVID-19, educators at the behest of their union bosses were teaching every tenet of unilateral government control, beginning with our children.

Familiar Territory

What we face in our nation is NOT new. It’s happened time and time again throughout modern history. Thankfully, we previously have NEVER faced it. It is “Totalitarianism.”

That’s not a conspiracy theory. There are plenty of places to look to for comparison. And know this: those at the “top of the heap” in the U.S. understand that this oppressive philosophy is NOT an easy sale to us. It takes time, planning, and implementation of several things to start that ball rolling.

What makes me think this movie is already in process? Here’s what Totalitarianism is about:

Totalitarian regimes are often characterized by extreme political repression under an undemocratic government, widespread personality cultism around the person or the group which is in power, absolute control over the economy, large-scale censorship and mass surveillance systems, limited or non-existent freedom of movement (lockdowns), and the widespread usage of fraudulent elections and religious persecution. Laws and their enforcement become the total responsibility of a ruling class who enforce or ignore those laws that fit their objectives rather than the laws. The state media becomes THE spokesperson entity in the dissemination of news and information — especially about everything to do with the government.

That was the process that gave the world Adolph Hitler and Nazism, Joseph Stalin and Communism, Mussolini and Fascism, and Fidel Castro in Cuba. Each of these spearheaded and oversaw free countries dramatically walk away from their freedoms only to be replaced by 100% top-down government.

Summary

I don’t fly solo in this examination and these results. Millions of Americans’ eyes have been opened, primarily because of the COVID-19 “pandemic” and all the circumstances forced upon our fawning public by our Medical Bureaucracy under the leadership of so-called medical experts who suddenly became experts on every part of our lives. The most obvious evidence of this “slide” comes from legacy media. They are so bold about their operations and facilitation of this movement their political and economic tycoon bosses have ordered to occur that they’re doing this shocked most Americans. It happened so suddenly without warning.

Look: we’ve seen only the tip of this iceberg. We’re nowhere close to the heart of how deep into the total control of our lives by others we will find ourselves. What they are doing, why they are doing it, and how it is now in plain sight. Every negative happening in our economy, COVID-19 cases, COVID-19 death, labor statistics, inflation, and even our ever-growing struggle with our foreign allies fuels the rapid slide into State Government control of it all.

In closing, I will not guess who are the specific players in this new utopia under construction. I have my ideas, as do you. If the historical comparisons listed above hold regarding our situation, their identities will be revealed shortly. There may be a surprise or two. But it’s likely those now in the limelight pushing this so hard (and seeing results) are just the foot soldiers for the REAL tyrants we will see.

What can we do, if anything at all?

Besides praying, we can speak out. There are tens of millions of Americans being lulled to sleep and ignoring the snake that is consuming us! Fortunately, mass media coverage of the events we’re living through has begun to open our eyes. It’s ironic that the COVID-19 lockdowns put millions of us in places to watch more closely world events — watch far more closely than ever before. And these people, in large part, are NOT idiots!

I’m sad to say so, but it’s happening. I suggest that, if you haven’t already, engage in information gathering. READ! Get for yourself the historical perspectives of where our nation is today. Speak to others. Ask questions. And, more than anything, listen to everything you hear — really “LISTEN.” Knowledge is the most effective weapon of defense.

Stay close. Despite this gloom and doom, God has His hand on it all. After all, I’ve read the Book. And the end of Revelations is pretty darn good for my family and me!

General Mike Flynn Inspires the Left to Speak About God

Courage…is that firmness of spirit, that moral backbone, which, while fully appreciating the danger “involved” nevertheless goes on with the undertaking.  Bravery is physical; Courage is mental and moral. Major C.A. Bach, 1917, address to graduating new officers, Ft. Sheridan, Wyoming

A man of character in peace is a man of courage in war.  Lord Moran, personal physician to Winston Churchill in WWII.

The first requirement of the soldier is not bravery or courage, but the ability to suffer and endure.  Napoleon Bonaparte

Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.) Saul Alinsky

It’s true, retired General Michael T. Flynn actually provoked Newsweek into speaking about God Almighty. During a rally, the General said these words, “If we are going to have one nation under God, which we must, we have to have one religion. One nation under God and one religion under God.”

Our founders made sure that there was not a state religion, and that each and every person could worship as they please. Our pledge of allegiance actually states, “…one nation under God, with liberty and justice for all.” One religion under God means the worship of the one true God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, worshipped and prayed to by both Jews and Christians.

The Backlash

The propaganda ministry – aka our Pravda media – is spreading vicious lies regarding retired Lt. General Michael T. Flynn. They’ve learned to target the messenger rather than the message, a la Saul Alinsky, but with these few words by the General, Christians became fearful that he was calling for a one-world religion, and our Jewish friends are fearful that he’s made a statement that eliminates them. Both premises are false and previous statements by the General, that would clarify what he was saying, are omitted from every media report.

When Flynn was asked about his statement regarding a “one-world religion,” he laughed at the attack, saying that he was simply referring to returning to “one nation under God,” not advocating a theocracy. He said that we all have to acknowledge and serve God alone (although he never mentioned the Lord Jesus Christ by name). It wasn’t even a speech, just short off-the-cuff remarks.

Do his words eliminate other religions? No, our Constitution is clear; we are free to worship as we choose or not at all. However, Christian men and women of God, believers like General Flynn, are free to state that our Judeo-Christian heritage is ours to cherish and love and that he wished all citizens would embrace our Creator.

Instantly there was a backlash, so he explained:

“My message is and has always been, when I discuss religious persecution, that our nation was built upon a Judeo-Christian set of values and principles. We were founded by people seeking to practice their religion freely and without harm from their government. God is under attack today by the left. In this country we should be able to worship however we want, to whomever we want, and we should not be persecuted for our faith – a faith that is under attack by the left every single day.”

A friend said something to me this morning that got me thinking: “People need to go back and read Hosea and especially Amos. Look how they spoke to the power structures of their day.”

So why Amos and Job?

Amos attacked the social evils of the people as well as their paganized worship and he issued an urgent call to repentance as the only escape from imminent judgment. The people’s privileged position, he declared, should have been an incentive to righteous living, certainly not an excuse for sinning.

Job teaches the sovereignty of God and the need for man to acknowledge such.  Job’s three friends all said his suffering was because of sin. But suffering is also a means of purifying the righteous. God’s purpose was to strip away all of Job’s self-righteousness and to bring him to the place of complete trust in Him.

Mike continued:

“Look how they spoke to the power structures of their day. Oh, and let’s not forget Jesus himself … flipping over tables and calling them white-walled sepulchers. People who say Jesus was not political have no idea what they are talking about. Almost everything He did and said challenged authority.”

Our lives are entrenched in politics and there are no American adults today who can say, “I don’t do politics.” You better start understanding and getting involved or else you’ll be part of the reason why we lost our republic and our freedoms.

I actually find the discourse about God, and how God is in each of our lives, a very healthy thing for every American. God is in all aspects of who we are as Americans. I’m not here to tell you what or how to believe, but I’d ask each and everyone to consider how far away from our Judeo-Christian roots and values our nation has moved. The further away, the greater the need to return. That’s what I believe.

There is a spiritual war as well as an information war being waged and this is a good versus evil war and a historic time for all Americans.

Thomas Jefferson was prescient when he said, “Be a listener only, keep within yourself, and endeavor to establish with yourself the habit of silence, especially on politics.  In the fevered state of our country, no good can ever result from any attempt to set one of these fiery zealots to rights, either in fact or principle. They are determined as to the facts they will believe, and the opinions on which they will act.  Get by them, therefore, as you would by an angry bull, it is not for a man of sense to dispute the road with such an animal.”

Tyranny

The General also understands the “COVID Tyranny” and how the elitists are using it to go after a total assault on our Bill of Rights. This is the “Great Reset,” and the COVID pandemic was used to save the coming new world order. General Flynn wants everyone to review our God-given Bill of Rights and understand how many of them are being abridged. He says that every single one of our unalienable Bill of Rights is being threatened by this “Great Reset.”

Flynn calls January 6th, 2021 the “Insurrection Crucifixion,” because that’s what it is and in a Biblical sense, Nancy Pelosi is like the Pontius Pilate of the operation to steal away the rights of the people.

Our Pravda media will only discuss faith when it suits them to disparage those who believe. Americans were denied their freedom to worship for many long months, and the media said nothing about totalitarian politicians eliminating our right to worship during the lockdown.

Every day our illegitimate president misspeaks or fails to properly form a sentence, he gets away with overt racism and lies, yet Pravda is silent.  The hypocrisy is astonishing.

General Michael T. Flynn

Throughout the General’s three and a half years of turmoil, he and his bride read the Bible every morning and then went for their two-mile walks and discussed the verses. This is a habit started long ago by the Flynn family. The General knows the Lord and he knows he was targeted. Throughout those years he was under a gag order and could not speak in his own defense. Their faith carried them through the many trials.

FBI Agent Barnett actually said, “Get Flynn to get Trump,” and that was the first strike against the people’s president and his guardian angel, National Security Adviser, General Mike Flynn. The rogue FBI agents knew that Mike Flynn was one of the foremost intelligence officers of his generation and in order to destroy Trump, they had to get rid of the General.

I’m only one person who tangentially knows the General, but I’ve seen his kindness, his love of country, his trust in the Lord, his patience, endurance, and his peace through trials. I know in my heart the kind of man he is – a faithful servant. Mike is a warrior who spent 33 years in our military and five years in battle.

The brother of one of our dearest friends served under General Flynn. Our Marine friend told us what his brother said about the General: “For us, General Flynn walked on water and never even got his shoes wet.” That’s from the men who loved their leader, and those men were of all races and religious beliefs which underscores Mike’s love of all Americans, especially his fellow soldiers.

When I had a terrible accident years ago, several friends helped us out monetarily. I promised all of them I’d repay them after the settlement, but when I asked them if I could donate their gifts to General Flynn’s legal defense fund, they all agreed. Mike Flynn wrote a personal letter to each and every one of them. One of my dear friends is 92 years old and had sent me a large check. When I told Mike about her, he asked for her phone number and called and chatted with her for a good ten minutes. Who do you know who would take the time to be that kind to someone they don’t even know?!

John Guandolo of Understanding the Threat said: “I was with Mike when he spoke about how his words were taken out of context…again. I think at the center of all this is that the enemies of liberty are truly the enemies of our one true God and all that is good.”

There’s so much more I could tell you about this man who has sacrificed his life for his country and for his love of the Lord. His fellow soldiers know it best. General Flynn was a leader they loved and appreciated and willingly followed him into battle.

Conclusion

No man is perfect, and certainly, we’ve all said things that were taken in unintended ways. Jesus said in Mark 10:18, “Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God.”  Yet, Paul in Acts 11:22-24, calls Barnabas a good man.

The same goes for General Michael Thomas Flynn. He is one of God’s good men.

Saturday Bullet Points: November 20, 2021

The U.S. watched multiple bizarre things happen domestically and abroad during the week. How much of all that did you know about and understand? How much of it did you miss? Make no mistake: Americans — ALL Americans — MUST stay plugged into the crucial happenings of each day. It’s more important than almost any other period in U.S. history. The future of the Republic is at stake! EVERY American needs to stay awake and consume factual information to make decisions: personal, family, business, and government choices.

If this is your first venture into our Bullet Points, here is how the process works: After each bullet point, you’ll read a few sentences synopsizing the content of an important issue. When you read those sentences, if that information is something you’ve already digested or that you don’t care too much about, skip to the next bullet point. If you want MORE information about the story, click on the small blue arrow at the end of those sentences. That will take you to a complete story where you can digest ALL of the content.

Please have a great weekend! Now, let’s get started with today’s Saturday Bullet Points.

Bullet Points

  • The trial of Kyle Rittenhouse jury deliberated for the 4th day on Friday, trying to reach an agreement on the guilt or innocence of Kyle Rittenhouse in that triple-shooting last year in Kenosha, Wisconsin, that left two dead. The reasons for the contentious atmosphere surrounding this trial were, and still are, ironic in that all three men shot were white, as is Kyle Rittenhouse. That puzzles many who think it’s about racism. Black Lives Matter was daily during the trial protesting against an innocent verdict after the Mainstream Media portrayed (confirmed twice by President Joe Biden) that Kyle Rittenhouse is a White Supremacist. There are NO ties between Rittenhouse and any racial group at all. On Thursday, an alleged MSNBC photographer followed the jury van purportedly to take pictures of the jurors. Kenosha police officers stopped him because of the potential issues his doing so would likely initiate. The judge in the case blocked any MSNBC personnel or cameras inside the courtroom. After deliberation of the five charges against Rittenhouse, the jury gave the judge their verdicts. For complete details, click on this link:
  • The question of how our president would feel about whatever the verdicts were in the Rittenhouse case we “thought” was established when President Biden immediately AFTER the conclusion said “I support the verdict of the jury.” But, apparently the President had not spoken to his “handlers” before saying that. To no one’s surprise, he later gave Americans a different “observation.” For compete details, click on this link:
  • Not to be relegated to the sidelines, one MSNBC show host, Joy Reid, lashed out at Rittenhouse on her Thursday show. In a twisted example of “true” racism, Reid compared the flood of tears of Kyle Rittenhouse during his testimony at the trial to those of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his Senate confirmation hearing. She labeled both Kavanaugh and Rittenhouse “Karens,” a derogatory label used to denigrate people by members of the so-called “Cancel Culture.” For complete details, click on this link:
  • Another weird story hit the streets on Friday from Pfizer regarding the pharmaceutical giant’s process to document its testing of Bio-N-Tech and Comirnaty COVID-19 vaccines to present to the FDA for approval. A watchdog entity filed a Freedom of Information request for all the research documents submitted by Pfizer to the FDA with which approval was given. But Pfizer wants to prolong the time for production requested to provide these documents. You will NOT believe how long Pfizer has asked to provide this. For complete details, click on this link:
  • No one but close friends and relatives knew Beto O’Rourke until his campaign to unseat Texas Senator Ted Cruz in 2016. His campaign was divisive, with Beto embracing EVERY far-left legislative item that Democrats touted. And he came close to defeating Cruz. However, with the approval ratings of the President and Vice President and Democrats in general plummeting daily, it was a shocker to learn that O’Rourke has thrown his political hat in the ring to take-on incumbent Greg Abbott in the upcoming Texas governor’s race. For an inside look at Beto and what’s up, click on this link:
  • How bad is COVID-19? That’s a question asked by tens of millions of Americans almost daily. The answer to that question is simple: we don’t know! Despite all the “science” quoted to us by the experts, we are still in the dark regarding almost every aspect of the pandemic nearly two years into this. But one thing is sure: COVID-19 is terrible and kills people. But there’s one other thing: COVID-19 vaccines are ALSO killing many Americans! The CDC issues a report every Friday with the latest reported cases of COVID-19 vaccination adverse reactions. And a large number of people have died from the vaccines! For the details of all those adverse reactions, including the reported number of deaths, click on this link:
  • COVID-19 certainly takes a toll on an unknown number of Americans. Not every case of COVID-19 is detected. Many are asymptomatic. But there are a large amount of “ancillary” deaths involving circumstances that accompany COVID-19. One such case is of a man arrested for not wearing a mask to protect against the virus while riding a bus. The man was jailed only to die later in a jail cell! What could have happened to cause this? For complete details, click on this link:
  • Amazingly, the surges of COVID cases around the nation have NOT been uniform or even predictable throughout the pandemic. Experts have repeatedly warned that if we “do” certain things, we will probably not catch the virus. And if we “do not” do certain things, we almost certainly will get COVID-19. No matter how hard we try, it seems that somehow COVID-19 finds a way to defy the instructions and just cut a swath across parts of the country without explanation. Doctors are worried across northern Colorado. For some reason, COVID-19 is blasting that part of the state without any cause. For complete details, click on this link:
  • The Jan. 6 “insurrection” at the U.S. Capitol has initiated incessant arguing about who and what happened and why. Those on the Left maintain it was a coordinated affair with former President Trump involved in planning and implementing what happened while conservatives push back against those allegations. There were indeed very few injuries to folks that day that were a direct result of the so-called “insurrectionist” attacks that never materialized. And though the Left claims there were many shootings and several deaths, the facts say otherwise. But there was at least one person there who really IS a white supremacist who is in deep trouble somewhere else: Arizona. He’s known as “Baked Alaska” and is facing serious charges in Arizona not related to Jan. 6. For complete details, click on this link:
  • The continual claims by Democrats regarding interference in all things federal government related by white supremacy groups have been diminished a bit. The U.S. Department of Justice has filed charges against two Iranians for “foreign interference in our 2020 election!” How in the world could that have happened? These two provided a fake video to the GOP showing supposed ballot tampering. And they falsely identified themselves as members of the white supremacist group “Proud Boys.” For complete details, click on this link:
  • The upcoming week is considered to be the busiest travel time of the year annually. Thanksgiving travel — air and ground — are flooded with holiday travelers. Airlines are worried about the crush of travelers that are predicted to number as high as 20 million over the Thanksgiving holiday! This marks the first time in 18 months where “normal” holiday air travel is anticipated in numbers. But how have the pandemic circumstances impacted air travel this season is still unknown. For complete details, click on this link:
  • Abortionists are shaking as they anticipate what and when the U.S. Supreme Court will do regarding the Texas abortion law that has been appealed. Guess what: it is very “likely” the Supreme Court will weigh in on the case as early as this coming week! For complete details, click on this link:
  • When advising Bill Clinton in his bid for re-election, James Carville made a statement to political pundits regarding what is the most important issue to Americans at election time. His words rang true then and still do today: “It’s the economy, Stupid!” The upcoming midterm elections will undoubtedly be critical to all Americans living through problems that no one even dreamed ten months ago might exist in advance of next November’s elections. The nation’s economy is foremost in importance. What part of the economy troubles Americans the most? For complete details, click on this link:

Haven’t Heard Much About Military Members Reactions To Vax Mandates. Wonder Why?

I wonder why no mainstream media outlet has bothered to look into what’s happening among U.S. military members regarding the COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Even though OSHA put a pause on pushing Biden’s proposed mandate for U.S. companies with 100 or more employees, We’ve heard very little or nothing at all about the Pentagon’s position going forward. Apparently, even actions taken by military members in response to the word that religious and medical exceptions from all military members would be considered, not a single exception has been accepted by Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.

How deadly could this situation be if we indeed lose even a few thousand members of our military? We now have approximately 300,000 active members in our armed forces. What might happen if we lost just several thousand active military personnel over this? Let’s take a look at a few examples of the issues caused by the U.S. Military mandate.

“Phil’s Story”

In late October, Phil Teuscher’s supervisor showed up at his office at the Navy’s top weapons testing base to let him know his name was on a list of thousands of base personnel who had failed to acknowledge receipt of the COVID-19 vaccine requirement.

In August, all branches of the U.S. military gave its service members and civilian employees an ultimatum: Get the vaccine or face being fired. At the Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake in California, the remote base where Teuscher has worked for 20 years, the first part of the mandate required all personnel to officially acknowledge receipt of the directive. The next step was a signed statement saying whether they had received a shot.

But Teuscher, 58, and many others who work for the Navy on and around the base have refused to comply with either directive. Using an online messaging app, Teuscher started connecting with other like-minded China Lake workers, pushing against the requirement. The group quickly grew to more than 300 participants, all deeply concerned about receiving the vaccine or outright refusing it. Each day at lunchtime, dozens of workers gather outside the base to protest the mandate.

Some employees connected to the base, all of whom require security clearances to work there, are pointing to underlying health problems they believe the vaccine could exacerbate, while others cite religious exemptions. Teuscher, a production manager for a highly sophisticated missile program at the base’s Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, or NAWCWD, is not making either claim. Instead, he’s choosing to fight the legality of the mandate on principle.

“My situation is a little bit different. I could retire, but I’m choosing not to,” he said. “I’ve got my 20 years in. … I’m choosing to fight it.”

Other vaccine holdouts aren’t so fortunate and would be forced to find non-military work if they continue to buck the requirement. But the Navy faces its own dilemma as the deadlines loom. With roughly 10% of the base’s highly educated and trained personnel refusing the shot, it will be difficult, if not impossible, to maintain all the classified weapons and their testing operations in top working order if all resisters are fired.

The Navy itself touts its NAWCWD employees operating at China Lake and Naval Air Station Point Mugu in Ventura County as “some of the brightest minds in the world” conducting work in “high-tech areas including battlespace integration, airborne electronic attack, aircraft survivability, counter-improvised explosive devices, directed energy, robotics … and more.” China Lake, the Navy’s largest single landholding at 1.1 million acres, is also home to the air test and evaluation squadron for the Navy’s F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter jet, as well as numerous other aircraft and helicopters, all requiring a highly specialized trained workforce to maintain them.

“We still have a job to do, and we’re trying to stay focused on it,” another China Lake civilian employee told RCP. “But the number of people that we’re hearing possibly not going through [with the vaccine] and ultimately facing separation from the service will inevitably affect our ability to complete our mission and support the warfighter.”

So far, roughly 40% of the base’s estimated 3,000 employees (those working for the Navy on base or nearby) are vaccinated, according to estimates circulating throughout the base. Those numbers are likely to rise as vaccination deadlines draw closer in the coming weeks, but they still could cause serious readiness problems for the Navy and its weapons systems. Active-duty sailors and Marines must be fully vaccinated by Nov. 28, while those in the select reserve have until Dec. 28. The Pentagon requires federal civilian employees to be vaccinated by Nov. 22.

The high number of civilian and military workers refusing to get the vaccine at China Lake and other key research and development bases could force the Navy to make some difficult decisions in the coming months. All civilian workers must hold security clearance to enter the base. Many hold advanced engineering degrees and extensive technical training that takes years to acquire.

Recruiting and replacing such workers won’t be instant or easy – especially at China Lake. Located in California’s remote Mojave Desert, it’s some 150 miles northeast of Los Angeles. In recent years, the base has experienced serious attrition problems as engineers and other highly skilled workers flee for more lucrative jobs in Silicon Valley and elsewhere, according to several sources familiar with the employment challenges.

“It just blows my mind that they are willing to lose people that already made the essential career and life decision to move to China Lake,” one civilian DoD employee remarked, adding that the nearby Walmart Supercenter is the biggest sign of civilization in the area.

The quandary the military faces isn’t limited to China Lake. At the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Corona, California, at least 100 employees out of roughly 2,000 total are participating in an online messaging group resisting the vaccine, which just got up and running two weeks ago.

For instance, Nick Goldberg, a 36-year-old mechanical engineer at the base who refuses to receive the shot on principle, holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and numerous certifications related to his job designing and building inspection equipment for weapons systems. Goldberg has worked at the center for 13 years, along the way earning patents on behalf of the U.S. government for several cutting-edge technologies.

“We’re all scrambling to make sense of the rules and deadlines, which keep changing,” Goldberg, who organized a protest outside the base last week, said in an interview. “The DoD thinks they can just let all these people go, and it will be no big deal because they’ve got managers telling them they get 60 to 70 resumes a week on their desk. Well, you can’t just replace that kind of knowledge easily.”

A Navy spokesman declined to comment about the readiness challenges that would inevitably be created by firing hundreds of workers at military R&D installations.

“We aren’t going to get ahead of the deadlines and speculate to possible outcomes,” Lt. Cmdr. Andrew DeGarmo told RCP in an email.

Where’s The Navy In All This VAX-Uncertainty?

So far, the Navy has tried to focus on those complying with the vaccine order. Last week, Navy Secretary Carlos Del Toro said during a panel at the Aspen Security Forum that the service branch has a 99.4% vaccination rate for active-duty personnel. That number does not account for the civilian and military workforce at China Lake and other Naval R&D facilities.

Some of the China Lake workers claiming religious exemptions are working with the First Liberty Institute, a legal organization that champions religious freedom. On Tuesday, it filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of at least 35 Navy SEALs, claiming that the U.S. military is infringing on their First Amendment freedoms and intimidating them into getting vaccinated against COVID-19.

Some SEALs and fighter pilots, most of whom are young and in top physical shape, are concerned about the risk of myocarditis, a very rare but potentially fatal inflammation of heart muscles that studies show younger males have experienced after receiving the vaccine. The different branches of the military all have their own vaccination deadlines. Nearly two months after the Pentagon began requiring troops to get the vaccine, the vast majority have done so, though top officials have denied nearly all religious exemptions.

Last week, the Air Force missed its Nov. 2 deadline to vaccinate all of its active-duty airmen because officials were still sorting through thousands of requests for exemptions. An estimated 12,000 Air Force personnel rejected orders to get fully vaccinated despite the Pentagon mandate. Service officials received nearly 5,000 requests for religious exemptions but have granted none of them, Defense One reported. They approved 1,886 waivers for medical reasons.

Vaccine holdouts in the military face rank reductions and, ultimately, separation from their service branches, along with potential courts-martial and dishonorable discharges for failing to follow orders under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Both military and civilian vaccine protesters would also likely lose their security clearances, which would harm their ability to attain future national security-related employment.

“Because a clearance is a privilege, not a right legally, [the military] can condition it on whatever they want to,” said Sean Bigley, a lawyer who specializes in security clearance retaliation cases. “The issue as it pertains to vaccines hasn’t really been tested, but I always tell my clients, you don’t want to be the test case unless you’re willing to jeopardize your career over this.”

Most vaccine resisters will have more time before it comes to that. Last week, a Washington, D.C., District Court judge issued a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction barring both civilian and active-duty military plaintiffs from being terminated after they sued the Biden administration over religious exemptions to the vaccines. Administration officials in late October also signaled that the vaccine deadlines would serve as the beginning of an education process focused on persuading those who are protesting the vaccine to reverse course.

“There will be an escalation in disciplinary actions that will go through a process,” Steven Morani, the Pentagon’s assistant secretary for sustainment, told a House Armed Services Readiness Subcommittee hearing in late October. “Nobody is going to be fired on the 22nd. Education is critical in this space — to educate people about the safety of it and the risk of not having it.”

Jeff Zients, President Biden’s coronavirus response coordinator, signaled an even softer sell before the federal government or the Pentagon would order the firing of thousands of civilians, contractors, and troops.

“But even once we hit those deadlines, we expect federal agencies and contractors will follow their standard HR processes and that, for any of the probably relatively small percent of employees that are not in compliance, they’ll go through education, counseling, accommodations, and then enforcement,” Zients said at a White House media briefing in late October. “So, these processes play out across weeks, not days. And so, to be clear, we’re creating flexibility within the system. We’re offering people multiple opportunities to get vaccinated. There is not a cliff here.”

Legal experts representing SEALs and other defense clients say the military is unlikely to approve the religious exemption requests unless forced to. Vaccine advocates cite a long history of the U.S. government requiring vaccine mandates dating back to when George Washington required his soldiers to be inoculated against smallpox during the Revolutionary War. But mandates have also long been controversial, and the U.S. has a history of heavy-handed enforcement. In the 1890s and 1900s, squads of policemen would enter people’s homes in the middle of the night to inject them with smallpox vaccines.

In the Navy especially, where thousands of sailors spend months at a time in ships’ extremely close quarters, COVID has proved a big challenge. The growing coronavirus crisis aboard an aircraft carrier in the early months of the pandemic last year prompted its captain, Brett Crozier, to plea for help in a letter that went public, leading to his firing. But a new study published in The Lancet Infectious Diseases Journal found that those who have received the vaccine can spread the delta variant just as easily as unvaccinated individuals, leading to arguments that the shot only mitigates the impact of infection but does not reduce spread.

Legal Advocates Supporting Military Vaccine Resisters

Those supporting vaccine resisters argue the military is flouting constitutional protections that expressly protect religious exemptions.

“The government has a very, very high bar that it has to meet to deny a religious accommodation,” Mike Berry, a Marine reservist and attorney for the First Liberty Institute, recently told Fox News. “But we’ve been told from the Pentagon, from the very highest levels, that the DoD does not intend to approve any religious accommodation requests. And to my knowledge, and I’ve heard this from multiple sources, not a single religious accommodation has been approved at this point. And that’s insane. That can’t be the case, but yet that’s where we are.”

Right now, the two sides are locked in a game of chicken as the vaccination deadlines and penalties shift and appear to soften. Dorit Rubinstein Reiss, a law professor and expert on vaccine mandates at the University of California, San Francisco, said the Biden administration’s conflicting messages on whether and when federal workers, military contractors, and troops will be terminated is only prolonging the inevitable. Ultimately, she said, the vaccine holdouts shouldn’t count on the courts to widely back their resistance. However, she predicted they could require the Pentagon to provide more transparency about their religious-exemption denials.

“In my experience, there are a lot fewer people willing to resign when it comes down to the real deadline,” she said. “When it comes down to allowing the military to set its vaccine policy, I don’t see the courts second-guessing them.”

President Biden’s vaccine mandate for private businesses with more than 100 workers is on hold while it faces legal challenges. A federal appeals court in Louisiana temporarily blocked the rule, saying it raises “grave statutory and constitutional issues.” Conversely, in late October, the Supreme Court upheld Maine’s vaccine mandate for health care workers.

Congressional Members Weigh-In On Military Mandate

With the legality of the mandates up in the air, Republicans in Congress are trying to limit punishments the Pentagon can impose. Kansas Sen. Roger Marshall proposed an amendment to the pending 2022 National Defense Authorization Act to allow service members who refuse the COVID vaccine to receive an honorable discharge. Ten additional GOP senators have since backed the provision, including Kevin Cramer, Ted Cruz, Cindy Hyde-Smith, Ron Johnson, John Kennedy, James Lankford, Shelley Moore-Capito, Rick Scott, Tommy Tuberville, and Roger Wicker.

“Think about the consequences for a dishonorable discharge,” Marshall said, ticking off a list of several, including the loss of medical and education benefits, gun-ownership rights, and the ability to reenlist in a different military branch. “This is a big issue. It is a big deal.”

Lawmakers have yet to address the issue of Department of Defense civilian employees and those in the military losing their security clearances if they continue to refuse the vaccine. They may not have to if the Pentagon determines it can’t risk firing so many highly skilled civilian employees and military at key weapons bases.

Thousands of civilian defense workers, as well as others in the military, who are refusing to get the shot are worried they could be forced out of their jobs by Christmas after receiving a notice that suspensions will begin Nov. 22.

“Well, ‘Happy Thanksgiving’ and ‘Merry Christmas,’” Goldberg remarked. “We’ve made careers out of this work. Some people are going on more than 30 years of experience. We’re all patriots. We believe the United States is the best country and has the best military in the world. We take a lot of pride in being a part of that. To say at this point, after decades of service, if you don’t get this … drug injected into you, you can take a walk. It’s just astounding after everything we’ve done.”

Summary

We daily see and hear new ironies about EVERY issue implemented by the Biden Administration that is rolled out on a “demand” basis. Honestly, the unmitigated gall of our government officials to bark orders to the American people about critically personal issues is shocking. It’s as if there is NO government hesitancy to attempt to force their political policies on all of America, many times there literally thumbing their noses at us. At the same time, they rip the Constitution to shreds!

It’s not just in the Navy or just in the U.S. Military: it’s across every segment of U.S. society. This “new” process of egregious top-down governing has flabbergasted tens of millions of Americans who thought there would never be such policies even attempted in this way. And when the Biden Administration members get pushback, they ignore the substance of what Americans think. They say by making hollow excuses, blaming things on the pandemic, supply chain blockages, and even Donald Trump! That shouldn’t be a surprise: following every GOP administration, Democrats ALWAYS blame Republicans for everything bad when they take charge of the government.

In closing, here is what is shocking to most Americans: from the President on down in his Administration, NO ONE seems to be willing even to discuss openly the striking policies being thrust on Americans. Vaccines are merely a small piece of this puzzle.

Question: Do you think the American people are simply going to stand on the sidelines and watch some totalitarian government appear through the Biden Administration? That’s actually a thought worth pondering. Sadly, this would even need to be considered.

But there IS something certain in our nation today: Democrats are hell-bent on taking control of everyday life from top to bottom away from the American people and doing that with “permanent” status.

Wanna be really scared? Who is there who can stop these moves by the Biden folks even if they want to?

Will The Biden/OSHA Employer Mandate To Vaccinate Employees Stand?

What’s the REAL Substance Of The OSHA Vaccine “Mandate/Rule?”

The Biden administration unveiled its emergency rule for COVID-19 protections for large companies that employ roughly two-thirds of the American workforce to adopt mandatory vaccination policies or take alternative steps. The new Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rule came two months after President Joe Biden announced a series of measures that he said would help swiftly end the pandemic.

“Vaccination requirements are good for the economy,” Biden said in a statement, avoiding the word mandate to describe the OSHA rule. “They not only increase vaccination rates, but they help send people back to work – as many as five million American workers. They make our economy more resilient in the face of COVID and keep our businesses open.” The president said that while he would have preferred to avoid the rule, “too many people remain unvaccinated for us to get out of this pandemic for good.”

Republicans on Capitol Hill responded with fury at the announcement. A group of GOP lawmakers said they would try to use the Congressional Review Act, which allows Congress to block new federal regulations in some circumstances, to nix the OSHA rule. Other members expressed support for a bill that would abolish OSHA altogether because of the announced rule. Florida state lawmaker Anthony Sabatini even urged “every Republican state” to nullify the federal rule and arrest OSHA officials who try to enforce ita proposal that would violate the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause and spark a constitutional crisis.

In nearly every statement other than Biden’s, and in many news reports on the matter, the OSHA rule was described as a “vaccine mandate.” But this is not actually correct. The new rule is better understood as a testing mandate with a vaccine exception—and that distinction could be crucial as it works its way through courts of law and public opinion.

What did OSHA actually do? The agency unveiled what is known as an “emergency temporary standard,” or ETS, on COVID-19 vaccination and testing for most companies with more than 100 workers. The ETS is roughly 490 pages long, with fewer than two dozen pages dedicated to the rule itself and the rest devoted to its justification. It requires eligible companies to do a few things to make vaccinations easier for their employees to obtain: provide paid time off so workers can get vaccinated and recover from any side effects, maintain lists of which workers have already been vaccinated, establish a notification system for workers who test positive, and other administrative requirements. It also generally requires employers to tell unvaccinated employees to wear masks.

What the agency will not be doing is forcing anyone to get a vaccine – at least, not directly. According to OSHA, the ETS requires companies to “develop, implement, and enforce a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy.” But – and this is a big but – there is a pretty clear way around this. The affected companies can forgo a vaccine mandate policy if they “instead establish, implement, and enforce a policy allowing employees to elect either to get vaccinated or to undergo weekly COVID-19 testing and wear a face covering at the workplace.”

Imagine that you’re the CEO of a Fortune 500 company. OSHA has effectively presented you with two choices. Your first option is to order your workers to get vaccinated to comply with OSHA’s requirements. Your second option is to order your unvaccinated workers to get regular testing and wear face coverings while on the job. Though the Biden administration is framing the vaccine-mandate part of the ETS as the default and the testing-and-masking part as an exemption to it, there’s no reason it can’t be the other way around.

That might sound like a meaningless distinction for some workers who may now be compelled to get vaccinated either way. But there’s a difference between a mandate imposed by the government and one imposed by a company. In the actual ETS, OSHA said that an employer-based vaccine mandate, as opposed to one from OSHA itself, “will be the most effective approach for increasing the vaccination rate of its employees and ensuring that they have the best protection available against the worst consequences of a COVID-19 infection.”

And while OSHA claimed in the rule that it “may well have the authority to impose a vaccination mandate” itself, the agency said it instead decided against “pursuing [a] strict vaccination requirement” in favor of a rule that would “strongly encourage” vaccines. “OSHA’s traditional practice when including medical procedures, such as medical surveillance testing and vaccinations, in its health standards has been to require the employer to make the medical procedure available to employees, and has viewed mandating those procedures as a measure to avoid if possible,” the agency explained.

OSHA outlined a few benefits of mandating vaccines for employers themselves. “Most obviously, employers with a mandatory vaccination policy ‘should’ enjoy a dramatically reduced risk that their employees will become severely ill or die of a COVID-19 infection,” the agency said. Of course, if companies always cared so deeply about their workers’ health and welfare, OSHA wouldn’t exist. So it also discussed the cost-benefit problems of having a largely unvaccinated workforce, which is more likely to have higher rates of worker absences for illness.

The real benefit for employers who issue a vaccine mandate is saved for last in OSHA’s explanation. “Additionally, only employers who decline to implement a mandatory vaccination program are required by the rule to assume the administrative burden necessary to ensure that unvaccinated workers are regularly tested for COVID-19 and wear face coverings when they work near others,” the agency noted. In other words, under the new rule, it may be cheaper for large companies to tell workers to get the shot rather than pay for thousands of weekly COVID-19 tests.

There are some exceptions, of course. The rule does not apply to workers who telecommute or otherwise don’t work around other people, where there is no risk of workplace transmission, as well as workers who work entirely outdoors, where the transmission risk is dramatically lower. Companies with fewer than 100 workers are also exempt, OSHA said because they are less able to shoulder the administrative burden relative to the public health benefits. The OSHA rule also works in concert with existing bona fide vaccine mandates issued by the Biden administration: It recently issued vaccine mandates for federal employees, for workers at companies with government contracts, and for the entire U.S. military.

As with virtually every other aspect of American life, litigation over the OSHA rule was inevitable, and the lawsuits are already flying! One question for courts to resolve will be whether COVID-19 counts as a “grave danger” under the law that allows OSHA to issue an ETS in the first place. Another one that will likely attract the courts’ attention is whether workers can seek religious exemptions from company-imposed vaccine mandates, especially when enacted under the weight of an OSHA rule. Conservative legal groups have already filed multiple lawsuits against the Biden administration to block the rule on more general grounds. The Supreme Court’s conservative majority, which is generally wary of federal regulatory power, may be more inclined to uphold a vaccine mandate that, well, doesn’t actually mandate vaccines for anyone.

So why doesn’t the Biden administration just call it a testing mandate or something like that? The White House’s use of the phrase “vaccine requirement” suggests that it’s trying not to use the phrase “vaccine mandate,” while also trying not to say, “It’s not a vaccine mandate.” Perhaps the most likely answer is that the administration wants Americans to think there’s a massive federal vaccine mandate without actually risking the legal or political consequences of imposing one. It’s more practical – and perhaps more quintessentially American – for the government to outsource a coercive policy goal to the private sector instead of doing something itself.

Indeed, large companies like Google, Ford Motors, and Tyson Foods have already mandated vaccines for their workers. Other employers who might want to issue mandates can now say, “Hey, don’t blame us, we’re just trying to comply with OSHA here.” To make things easier, the OSHA rule also supersedes state and local bans on vaccine and mask mandates in Republican-led parts of the country. Obviously, many are hopeful that if the courts allow it to take effect, the rule may yet prompt enough companies and enough workers to get the shot to help end the pandemic for good. Just don’t call it a vaccine mandate.

Courts Already Ruling In Mandate/Rule Cases Filed

The litigation is rampant, but just beginning. State and federal courts have been flooded with suits. The Biden administration will inevitably ask the Supreme Court to review the decision by the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals to halt its vaccine mandate, which it reaffirmed when the Biden Administration instructed American companies to ignore the Court’s initial ruling. The Biden effort at the SCOTUS is likely to be futile, however. Writing for the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, Judge Kurt Engelhardt confidently predicted that the mandate’s challengers “are likely to succeed on the merits” under judicial review. Engelhardt took particular exception to the attempt to impose the mandate through the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), pointing out that the Constitution’s Commerce Clause and the nondelegation doctrine preclude OSHA from making such “sweeping pronouncements on matters of public health affecting every member of society in the most  profound of ways.”

The decision also declared the mandate “fatally flawed on its own terms,” emphasizing that it purports to “save employees with 99 or more coworkers from a ‘grave danger’ in the workplace while making no attempt to shield employees with 98 or fewer coworkers from the very same threat.” This seriously undermined the administration’s claim that the purpose of the mandate is a response to a genuine national emergency: “The underinclusive nature of the Mandate implies that the Mandate’s true purpose is not to enhance workplace safety, but instead to ramp up vaccine uptake by any means necessary.” This created questions concerning OSHA’s use of the emergency temporary standard (ETS):

As the name suggests, emergency temporary standards “are an ‘unusual response’ to ‘exceptional circumstances.’” Thus, courts have uniformly observed that OSHA’s authority to establish emergency temporary standards under § 655(c) “is an ‘extraordinary power’ that is to be ‘delicately exercised’ in only certain ‘limited situations.’” But the Mandate at issue here … is a one-size fits-all sledgehammer that makes hardly any attempt to account for differences in workplaces (and workers) that have more than a little bearing on workers’ varying degrees of susceptibility to the supposedly “grave danger” the Mandate purports to address.

The appeals court goes on to point out that President Biden and OSHA have both undermined the legitimacy of the mandate by contradicting their own prior positions concerning the need to impose such a measure. Judge Engelhardt quotes Biden’s answer to a question posed to him on December 4 of last year concerning whether vaccines should be mandatory: “No, I don’t think [they] should be mandatory. I wouldn’t demand it be mandatory…” The judge also quotes a D.C. Circuit Brief filed by OSHA in May of 2020: “Based on substantial evidence … an ETS is not necessary both because there are existing OSHA and non-OSHA standards that address COVID-19 and because an ETS would actually be counterproductive.”

At length, the 5th Circuit points out what should be a blindingly obvious practical dilemma associated with the vaccine mandate – it is far too unwieldy to implement efficiently. As the decision phrases it, “The Mandate is staggeringly overbroad, applying to 2 out of 3 private-sector employees in America in workplaces as diverse as the country itself.” Nor was it lost on Judge Engelhardt that the hare-brained scheme to implement the mandate using OSHA was hastily cobbled together by staffers. As Constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley points out, the decision includes a footnote indicating that White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain was foolish enough to advertise it as an end-run around the Constitution:

Klain acknowledged that the use of OSHA was a “work around” in light of the constitutional barriers preventing President Biden from ordering a national mandate directly.… The Fifth Circuit decision could now lead to a showdown in the Supreme Court where Klain’s tweet could be again highlighted. This is a challenge that alleges that the OSHA rule was a thinly disguised attempt to circumvent the Constitution. Klain then rushed to remove even that thin veneer by heralding the “work around” of the constitutional limitations. It is an “admission against interest” that is likely to be repeated in litigation in a variety of cases.

This blunder will raise eyebrows at the Supreme Court when the Biden administration appeals the 5th Circuit ruling. Even the Court’s most liberal justices will take a dim view of such contempt for the Constitution. Yet the Biden Department of Justice insists that it will “continue to vigorously defend the standard and looks forward to obtaining a definitive resolution following the consolidation of all of the pending cases for further review.” Their argument, however, depends less on the constitutionality of the mandate than the manipulation of public opinion: “With the reopening of workplaces and the emergence of the highly transmissible Delta variant, the threat to workers is ongoing and overwhelming.”

But, as Judge Engelhardt writes, “The public interest is also served by maintaining our constitutional structure and maintaining the liberty of individuals to make intensely personal decisions according to their own convictions – even, or perhaps particularly when those decisions frustrate government officials.” That, in the end, is exactly what the entire controversy is about. No president possesses the authority to order private citizens to get vaccinated or command private businesses to enforce a vaccine mandate. Moreover, when Congress created OSHA, it didn’t authorize the agency to enforce anything resembling such an edict. Thus, the mandate will be DOA when it hits the SCOTUS docket.

Summary

Care for my opinion on the matter? (Here it is whether you want it or not!)

I think the Biden Administration purposely used the OSHA rule in an attempt to sidestep direct pushback against the Administration which can say easily, “We didn’t mandate anything. It’s an OSHA ‘Rule,’ not a mandate. So go talk to them.”

One might think saying that is just confirmation of what Biden has stated publicly when asked about his issuing a vaccine mandate. But I think there’s far more to this process.

First, Democrats NEVER do anything “off the cuff:” everything they do is carefully planned and implemented. Believing that is so in this case, an obvious question arises: what’s their reasoning, and what’s the hoped-for end result?

I’m confident they KNEW the Rule is likely to fail the scrutiny of the U.S. Supreme Court and will eventually be ruled unconstitutional. But even if that happens, it will NOT happen for a month or more.

What’s the benefit of that? Thousands if not millions more Americans will say, “Well, my company is requiring we all abide by the Vaccine mandate, so I’ll just go ahead and get it now.”

Bingo! Biden will have accomplished getting many more vaccinated, and no one can “blame him for trying.”

In other words, these actions fit exactly what Democrats do in almost every major situation: find ways to at least “say” they did what they promised to do, but will be able to say, “Someone else stopped us!”

“Symbolism over Substance” wins again!

And the American people will pay the price just like always.

Will The REAL COVID Specialist Please Standup?

Isn’t it ironic that most of the “reliable” information about COVID-19, medications, early treatment and its impact, vaccines, and “breakthrough infections” are ALL coming primarily from Israel? Why is it that we in the United States have discovered that the very ones — the brilliant scholars that control academia along with the Fauci’s who control the medical world — give us the most fragmented, questionable, and disputed COVID-19 information that has been proven over and over to be “incorrect” or “inaccurate” information?

It’s laughable to perform a simple internet search for “Fauci’s COVID instructions later proven to be false” and count the massive number of examples. There are so many, some of which Fauci doubled and even tripled down on, that science NEVER supported, yet Fauci before White House cameras and on numerous Sunday talk shows vowed were irrefutable facts.

And Fauci has yet to be called out by Mainstream Medical Experts!

What the world has watched for well over a year from Fauci along with the fact that NO “real” medical expert has called him out is puzzling to me. After all, we’re not playing parlor games: we’re playing “life and death games” in which we have always relied on the “medical experts” to lead us out of the forest of unknown medical issues that are often life-threatening.

Fauci certainly has not done that.

But, guess what: “the worm is turning.” It seems that many REAL experts in medicine are finally breaking away from the “COVID-19 Industrial Bureaucracy” and are finding microphones and tv cameras and are telling Americans the truth about COVID-19! And it appears that Fauci is just moments away from being “kicked to the curb.”

But not soon enough: 700,000 Americans have lost their lives to COVID-19. I know: some of those did NOT die as a direct result of COVID-19. How many of those cases there have been, we’ll probably never know for certain. But the number is far too high. Further, we may never know “the” reason or reasons for this happening.

One such medical expert that has stepped into the light of this is the guy who should know more than anyone else about COVID-19: the inventor of mRNA, Dr. Robert Malone.

Dr. Robert Malone

Dr. Robert Malone, the inventor of the mRNA and DNA vaccine core platform technology, was among the respected doctors, lawyers, and other professionals who spoke at the “International COVID Summit” in Rome, September 12 to 14, 2021.

The cross-border initiative aimed to provide a safe space and platform for exchanging information and sharing experiences, research, and studies to further the care of COVID-19 patients worldwide.

It’s become abundantly clear that the injections aren’t the panacea to end the pandemic that they’ve been purported to be, and Malone spoke with TrialSite News to help spread the truth about the jabs’ intricacies and risks, government conflicts of interest that are putting public health at risk and more.

The FDA and CDC Are ‘Beyond the Law’

The FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biologic Products Advisory Committee (VRBPAC) voted September 17, 2021, to authorize a third booster of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID shot Comirnaty for people over the age of 65 and other high-risk individuals.

Keep in mind that the shot you actually receive is still the Pfizer shot under extended emergency use authorization (EUA) — not the fully approved Comirnaty. While the two are deemed interchangeable, they are not identical from a legal standpoint. Comirnaty does not have EUA liability shielding, whereas the EUA Pfizer shot does.

While the VRBPAC voted to approve a booster for high-risk individuals and those over 65, the CDC’s expert advisory committee did not. The CDC advisory committee actually voted against recommending a booster for high-risk individuals based on their profession or living conditions, stating that only those over the age of 65 should be eligible for a booster at this time.

CDC director Rochelle Walensky, however, decided not to listen to her own experts. September 24, 2021, she overruled the CDC’s expert panel. She went ahead with the recommendation to issue a booster dose for adults at high risk of infection due to profession or living conditions. This is only the second time in the CDC’s history that its own ACIP advisory panel has been overruled.

“The FDA and the CDC are increasingly beyond the law. They don’t feel the need to comply in any way, even lip service really, with policies, procedures, legal requirements … or anything else. They pretty much are comfortable just doing whatever it is that they want to do,” Malone said. “I disagree that this is good policy at multiple levels. It’s not good science.”

The Smoking Gun of Gain of Function Research

Malone touches briefly on the origin of SARS-CoV-2, which he says appears to have come from a lab:
“The information linking the genetic characterization of the parent virus to what strongly appears to be a genetically engineered strain … this is all a smoking gun for gain of function research …
It’s increasingly difficult to come to any conclusion other than this originated in a laboratory, and it originated in a laboratory that was funded by the NIH NIAID [National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases] … and that it was research performed in the Wuhan lab in China.”

As a working hypothesis, SARS-CoV-2 is a product of GOF research, a project that was a collaboration between the Wuhan lab and the U.S. government. Somehow, the virus got out, Malone notes; imagine being a senior official in the government, such as the National Institutes of Health or NIAID director.

“What would your response be?” he asked. “I would be overrun by guilt. I would be frantic. And if this were to be the case, this might explain the irrational behavior on the part of the government and the senior officials in the government.” Contacts of interest are also problematic, such as the inherently connected nature of the CDC. CDC has a mission to promote vaccines and vaccine uptake, Malone said, but also vaccine safety.

These conflict and the agency is focused on vaccine promotion, not a careful evaluation of vaccination safety data. From now on, he says, the CDC should be split into two parts so that that vaccine program promotion can be separate from their safety monitoring.

Vaccinated People Are the Superspreaders

The media and government officials continue to parrot the narrative that the pandemic is one of the unvaccinated, even as “breakthrough cases,” or vaccine failures, rise. As of October 12, 2021, the CDC stated that 31,895 people fully injected against COVID-19 were hospitalized or died from COVID-19.
“The vaccines do not fully protect you from infection, virus replication, and shedding … just because you’ve had the jab doesn’t mean you’re not going to infect anybody else,” Malone said. Further, Malone believes that by reducing symptoms of illness while allowing viral replication to continue, the injections increase the likelihood that vaccinated people will become super-spreaders of COVID-19.

“Here’s the wrinkle to this … a case can be made because the vaccines are protecting from serious illness, so in general, if you get infected with Delta, and you’re vaccinated, you’ll have as much virus replication in your body as the unvaccinated person, but you’re not going to feel so sick.

What does that translate to? ‘Oh, I can just go to work,’ right? So if you think it through, the vaccinated are actually the ones creating the highest risk for everybody because they’re still going to be infected, replicate the virus at least at the level, if not higher, than the unvaccinated. They’re still shedding the virus all over the place, but they feel good. And so they are, by definition, set up to be superspreaders.”

The Social Contract Has Been Destroyed

Malone believes that many people submitted to the shots because of an unspoken social contract. In an interview with The Epoch Times, he explained:

“That social contract was, ‘Despite what you may have heard about the risks of some of these products and the fact that we admittedly did rush them, we’re protecting your health. If you take these products, you will be safe.’ That’s the social contract. ‘Despite all these other concerns, you will be safe, and you won’t have to retake them. You’ll be protected.’ People believed they had a shield if they bought in and did this.”

The idea was self-sacrifice for the common good. If you submit to the experimental shots, you would not only be personally protected, but you would also protect your community, and we could all recover and get back to a sense of normalcy. Except — people got the shots and normalcy hasn’t returned, vaccine-induced adverse events and deaths have harmed people, and “normal” in the sense of the word before 2020 has not returned.

Malone predicts that as the shots’ effectiveness wanes, we’re going to see increasing cases of vaccinated people still getting COVID-19 and being hospitalized and dying as a result. He puts a new peak at around January or February 2022.

At that point and moving forward, he said, “people will have to come to terms with the fact that the vaccinated are still being hospitalized and dying.” “The social contract will be rendered a sundry. It will be destroyed … And then people are going to have to come to terms with the fact that they’ve been misled.”

Action Items From the International COVID Summit

One of the action items Malone took home from the International COVID Summit is one being discussed for years: Optimize your vitamin D levels. Malone said it’s “abundantly clear” that many people are deficient in vitamin D and can benet from increasing their levels.

Data from GrassrootsHealth’s D*Action studies suggest the optimal level for health and disease prevention is between 60 ng/mL and 80 ng/mL, while the cutoff for sufficiency appears to be around 40 ng/mL. In Europe, the measurements you’re looking for are 150 to 200 nmol/L and 100 nmol/L, respectively. He also wants people to know that you don’t have to be consumed by fear.

“You’ve been given so much of a fear message. Just fear and fear and fear. And, frankly, that’s in the interest of Big Media. This is how they sell their product. You don’t have to be afraid …

For children, unless your children have major preexisting conditions, the probability of them getting death or severe disease from this is a fraction of a percent. It is tiny, and, frankly, particularly male children, getting damage from the vaccine is much higher than that. It’s still a fraction of a percent, but the ratio is not encouraging.”

He’s echoed the words of a growing number of doctors trying to get the word out about the importance of early treatment. If you have upper respiratory symptoms, first, don’t just assume it’s COVID-19. Get a test and if it’s positive, and a doctor who will give you early treatment “and the probability of you ending up in the hospital or dying is tiny.”

Malone is also part of the Global COVID Summit, an international alliance of doctors and scientists committed to speaking the truth to power COVID pandemic research and treatment. They’re amassing a fully curated body of information geared toward medical professionals, but everyone can view their data online.

They believe that people are dying from COVID-19 due to being denied early, life-saving treatment and have created The Declaration to give physicians back their right to treat their patients and for patients to have the right to receive those treatments “without fear of interference, retribution, or censorship by the government, pharmacies, pharmaceutical corporations, and big tech.”

As of October 14, 2021, more than 12,000 doctors and scientists had signed the declaration, and it’s still open for signature. Because Malone and others who have spoken out against COVID-19 propaganda are facing a hostile press that’s attacking their reputations and demeaning them, they’re fighting back the best way they can — by continuing to share the truth.

By providing people with real information, Malone says, “We’re determined that we’re going to break this wall of reinforcing the dominant narrative and whatever the government says.”

Do we maybe have a REAL medical professional at the podium now who might give us REAL facts?
