Saturday Bullet Points: July 19, 2025

Things in our government certainly have not taken a Summer break. Nor did the craziness that has plagued many of our friendly countries, as all are desperately trying hard to make ends meet for their people. At the same time, political infighting often turns to violence. I’m not sure about you, but I strive daily to stay informed about the most significant global events. It’s shocking how citizens in many countries refuse to follow the laws in their nations and instead demand more and more “freebies” from their governments. Perhaps they are learning how to do that successfully after watching the Biden Administration demonstrate how Big Government in some nations provides citizens with most of what they want!

I don’t know about you, but in our world, where we daily dig and find the most important stories that document the craziness that’s everywhere, chaos has exploded beyond comprehension! The volume of stories and their shocking contents make for really good reading. But it’s tough to choose the “most important” ones.

We’ll do our best to point to a few in our Bullet Points!

Bullet Points

  • Let’s start with some really good news regarding our economy. Good news from Washington! Reports from the government tell us that retail sales rebounded sharply in June. They even beat the expectations of numerous economists across the board! Now, we all know that any good economic news for Americans during the Trump Administration is a huge disappointment to Democrats. And this news certainly busts their dreams of failure for Donald Trump. However, the American people are tickled pink! To get all the good numbers along with explanations of what they mean, click on this link:
  • The U.S. Supreme Court has twice issued findings on cases in which activist federal judges were instructed that they do not have the authority to issue injunctions covering the entire nation against Trump’s actions on several levels. However, a judge who has already been warned by the Supreme Court to “back off” has responded to the Court by pushing back against that previous Court finding, demanding the Supreme Court “reconsider” what it had already told that judge.
  •  A mysterious revelation was revealed this week that adds to the drama of the Jeffrey Epstein story. A process used to track visitors to Epstein’s private island has been revealed. Those people’s devices left an invisible trail of data that pointed back to their own homes and offices. That’s just what we needed: instead of getting answers to the constant questioning about who was on Epstein’s guest list and who they had “business” with when they arrived, this international data broker has uncovered a trail of numerous famous, wealthy, and influential people who fell under Epstein’s spell. • The mayor of Chicago has found himself amid an economic tizzy of his own making. The “all-in” for illegal aliens whom he and Chicago welcomed with open arms has grossly attacked Chicago’s public education system. Chicago is now laying off thousands of teachers after spending $900 million to educate Illegal aliens:

  • Parents in numerous states that have passed laws that allow the state to remove children from the homes of parents who refuse to comply with “gender transition” policies now have a ray of hope. It has been announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is cutting funding in total for hospitals that conduct gender transition surgeries and all of the parts of such a process. • A man accused of killing an “American Idol” producer and her husband avoided prosecution for previous violent crime charges. The award-winning music supervisor is said to have been a “cornerstone” of “American Idol.” This is one of the strangest stories we’ve published in some time. Not only is it sad that such a successful and well-known couple was murdered, but the circumstances are so crazy! How crazy? For complete details, click on this link:

  • One of the GOP’s most successful and well-liked U.S. Senators finds himself facing a tough opponent in the upcoming Senate election in South Carolina. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) faces a significant challenge from a very credible opponent. Graham’s challenger, André Bauer, lays out his America First, Anti-Globalist agenda, which is polling well in an important Republican state. What’s scary is that Bauer is both well-funded and highly committed, and is well-regarded in South Carolina. For complete details, click on this link:
  • There’s bug news out today about President Trump announcing what is ahead for Dan Bongino as the Deputy FBI Director under Director Kash Patel:
  •  Nighttime television received a notice that one more television show and host are headed for the door. CBS announced that Stephen Colbert and his show, “The Late Show,” are going away. Colbert has a reputation for being pretty negative to President Trump and MAGA Americans, and has on multiple occasions derided and even attacked conservatives. Colbert, when giving the news to his audience, hinted that he didn’t know why he is going away next Summer. But CBS let it be known that Colbert’s show has lost tens of millions of dollars in a losing cause to “entertain” viewers at night. For complete details, click on this link:
  • Friday night on FOX News, “The Ingraham Angle” exposed how vile and unbelievable members of the current Republican Party have joined their cohorts in the Democrat Party in an all-out effort to create an amnesty program to, once again, flood the nation with illegals using “tricks” to make it legal. Don’t think this is something new. As far back as Bush 43, Republicans have tried over and over to convince Americans that not only can we not live without these illegals, but they also play on the emotions of American voters to convince us all that we are obligated to do exactly that. Ingraham broke the story open with “The Truth!”
