There is a word for anyone who says one thing and does the opposite or who “speaks out of both sides of his mouth”: HYPOCRITE.
The Ironic Duality of the U.S. Administration
The irony is so thick it can be cut with a knife. The United States government’s actions in their dealings with the Jewish people during Israel’s war to eliminate the terrorist group Hamas have raised some questions about the duality (make that two-facedness) of the Biden administration. On the one hand, Biden’s diplomats have publicly proclaimed that the U.S., which has a long-standing military alliance with the State of Israel, continues its “steadfast support” for the Israeli government and the Jewish people while privately exerting great pressure on the Israeli leaders and the Israeli War Cabinet to pull back from its promise to thoroughly destroy Hamas after their cowardly attack of October 7, 2023.
For many years, Hamas and its Iranian patron have sworn to destroy the Israeli government and wipe all Jews off the map. Having a legitimate military treaty with Israel, the Biden administration has an obligation to aid and protect the Israeli people as needed and to the extent possible. This would include providing both public and private support in Israel’s efforts to follow through on their promise to completely destroy all those who wreaked such barbaric havoc on innocent Jewish Israeli citizens.
The Biden administration, through its appointed mouthpiece, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, spouts quite regularly the same line about “fully and unconditionally” supporting our ONLY Middle East ally, Israel, in their defense of their people and their land, but now they are also attaching a condition (or two) to that support, namely that the Palestinian Authority, a terrorist organization that despises Israel, be allowed to take over the political administration of Gaza after the current is war is ended. However, the biggest and most utterly foolish condition is that Israel actively pursues the establishment of a separate state for the Palestinians within the historical borders of Israel, including the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) along with the Gaza Strip. This demand would spell the destruction of the Israeli State.
Though the United States has long been considered Israel’s strongest friend, the Biden administration has subtly hinted that continued long-term assistance with additional military hardware for Israel’s defense could hinge on Israel going along with these demands. Based on the resolve we currently see among the leaders of Israel that they will never allow that proposed Palestinian state to exist, the two nations appear to be at loggerheads, and the United States “commitment” to Israel’s defense appears to be little more than a ruse to guarantee the future demise of all the Jewish people. As the old saying goes, “With friends like these, who needs enemies?”
What U.S. politicians, most of whom are godless minions of Satan and not believers in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, are unaware of is that God is constantly watching over His chosen Earthly people. He is also watching over His word to perform it. Read Psalm 121 to understand how committed God is to the salvation of Israel. If all the foolish politicians who so diligently seek to divide the land God gave to the Jewish people could understand God’s resolve, they would never again mention a Palestinian state, and they would also never consider abandoning Israel in her time of greatest need. God will never abandon Israel, but He certainly CAN totally remove His hand of protection from any nation that pretends to be a friend of Israel on one hand while backstabbing them with the other, and that complete removal of God’s protection from the United States WILL will spell the end of this nation.
U.S. Political Hypocrisy
Meanwhile, the hypocrisy is displayed in the way the U.S. government, via the appointed U.S. diplomatic corps, has gone out of its way to try to force the Israeli War Cabinet to pull back from its successful campaign to destroy Hamas, an endeavor that Israel WILL win utterly; while at the same time, pushing the Ukraine government to continue its unwinnable war with Russia and providing controversial financial and military support to that end.
This seems to present a contradiction, but as I have stated many times, if you face what appears to be a contradiction, examine your premises, and you will find at least one that is wrong. If your premise is that the U.S. government cares one whit about the people of Ukraine, you would be wrong. Perhaps your corrected premise should be that there is a huge amount of money involved in the U.S. support for the Ukraine war. When considering political actions, money is the number one driver of all actions by nearly ALL governments.
Ukraine is NOT a member of NATO, the alliance primarily funded and controlled by the United States, and there does NOT exist a separate military alliance between the United States and Ukraine, other than those so designated by the Biden administration without the benefit of any U.S. Congressional approval. The politicians pushing the idea of a formal alliance with Ukraine are doing so even though it contradicts U.S. policy and very possibly crosses many lines that might be considered provocative to other nations, notably Russia.
So why has the United States government continued to support an unofficial alliance with what might even be called an illegitimate government in Ukraine? Many are the reports of total corruption of the Ukrainian government for many decades. Could it be that many U.S. corporations and their political minions are profiting handsomely because of the corruption and the foolish support for a failed government that continues to launder money for those corporations and their political puppets?
The Ukrainians are at war with Russia, a sovereign nation that does have some legitimate historical claims to much of the land territories in dispute between the two nations. For nearly twenty-four months, the United States has backed Ukraine by sending billions of dollars of military hardware along with large amounts of U.S. taxpayers’ money in an effort to keep the status quo from changing in the dispute.
Fortunately and, hopefully not too late, a large number of Americans are beginning to question why our nation is providing so much of our national treasure to support a corrupt government in Ukraine which has no hope of defeating the Russian military while pressuring the government of Israel to allow a corrupt terrorist group to survive. These are questions that should be asked of all the politicians in D.C., although the likelihood of getting any satisfying answers is slim indeed.
Is It Too Late?
I have long been extremely concerned that the duplicitous nature of the United States government might be the means by which Satan could destroy this nation. He has been very successful, through his political strategies, in filling nearly every critical position in the U.S. government with his corrupt, lying minions who are deceived into accepting his monetary rewards in exchange for the issuance of government policies that are now openly exposing the anti-Israel sentiments of a corrupt administration.
It should be obvious to all observers of American politics that the political process will never undo the damage done to America’s reputation in the World. That process is too fraught with those who favor the unrighteous rewards of greed ever to change. Only a massive move of God through the actions of the Body of Christ in the World will bring about any meaningful change. If the U.S. government reneges on its support for Israel and is the cause of further loss of Jewish lives, I shudder to contemplate what the future of this nation will be. Paul stated in Galatians 6:7, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
Proverbs chapter six records these words of wisdom: “These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.”
Thomas Jefferson, one of the greatest Founding Fathers of this nation, said: “I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever.”
Is God’s justice about to awaken? Only He knows, but if so, we are in for a very rough ride in the United States.
Maranatha, and Blessings!
Many people cannot or refuse to see the spiritual battle that is raging.
