Who/What was exposed on the international stage today?
It was NOT someone else from Congress or the Media whose sexual transgressions were made public by those they harassed. It was NOT that the Dow hit an alltime high just as then Candidate Donald Trump predicted would happen if he was elected President. No new Congressional G.O.P. or Democrat hypocrisy was exposed today — there’s plenty of that to last a while. Nothing new in the Senate as the Republican Tax Bill is attacked by Chuck Schumer and his Dem minions regardless of the good it will do for American families.
So who/what was exposed? The truth about the American Liberal incessant push for open borders was exposed outside the courthouse in America’s first declared “Sanctuary City” today.
Kate Steinle’s killer walked free. This beautiful young American was gunned down while on an innocent walk down Pier 39 in San Francisco with her father two years ago. Her killer? Jose Ines Garcia Zarate. Kate was killed by Zarate, and Zarate was free on the San Francisco waterfront that day because San Francisco had proudly become the first Sanctuary City in the U.S. This five-time deported illegal alien was arrested in San Francisco on federal drug charges. Even with a record of seven felonies, local authorities after notifying Homeland Security that they had him in custody, they released him. And Kate Steinle died.
Travesty
How many other Kate Steinles have there been who lost their lives or were seriously injured by illegal aliens? We really don’t know because there is no national database that tracks those incidents. But there have been many. Proponents for our open borders are quick to say “far more Americans are murdered at the hands of American citizens than at the hands of illegals.” That is absolutely true. Why? There are far more legals than illegals in the U.S.! The truth about that travesty is that even one American murdered by one illegal is too many. And these killing are senseless.
But the REAL travesty exposed today is the REAL reason the Democratic Party and even many establishment Republicans are so intent on legalizing all the illegals that have crossed our southern border. They readily forget about the bad things that happen at the hands of these criminals. They do so in the name of “giving them a helping hand and new opportunity, letting them make a living wage here so they can send it home to their starving family members, or Americans do not want the menial jobs that these illegals will gladly do. “That’s not the real reasons for their breathless support of these lawbreakers. And their real reason was exposed today.
VOTES!!!
For decades the Democratic Party has been frantically shopping for votes as they watch their party slide into voter oblivion. It happens as Americans identify the hypocrisy of Dem’s false commitments to the working people in the U.S. They need new voters who are so desperate because of their personal circumstances they will believe anyone who promises to help them. Democrats are their saviors: Dems give them free healthcare (Medicaid), free public education in public schools, jobs for which they are paid in cash thereby avoiding taxes, and provide housing and food stamps.
What other reason could there be for Americans to fight against attempts by federal, state, and local authorities to seal the southern border? Why would they turn their backs on the rampant crimes committed by illegals, many of which fled to the U.S. from their countries to escape prosecution for their crimes there? Don’t for a minute think they do so for the reasons they cry from the mountaintops — to help the poor, to give them chances for a REAL life in the greatest country on Earth. If they really wanted to help these illegals, they would find a way to do it legally.
For those who will throw rocks at me for this allegation, let me ask one question: “IF” Democrats are so set on getting the 13 million illegals here legal, why did they not during their eight years with Obama in the White House pass what they call “meaningful” immigration reform? The answer to that is simple: THEY DO NOT WANT THEM HERE LEGALLY! Democrats need all those illegals that find there way into the southern U.S. to remain illegal which perpetuates their dependence on their benefactors: the Democrats. The Dems keep pushing for giving these illegals “legal status,” whatever that means. And they do so for one reason only: they want those illegals to be able to vote. If that happens on a mass scale, think about what lever would be pulled by each illegal when they step into the voting booth. They will naturally vote for the candidate at every level that has pandered to them, promised them healthcare paid for by the federal government and other paid benefits. Illegals are human. It’s no wonder hundreds of thousands of Central America and Mexican immigrants do pretty much anything necessary to get to the U.S. southern border. Eden is on the other side.
Summary
It is tragic that when “Kate’s Law” was pushed hard in Congress — a law that would outlaw Sanctuary Cities and would force every city to cooperate with ICE regarding the process of turning over illegal immigrants they arrest for local crimes to be deported — did NOT even make it to the floor of the House or Senate for debate. Why is that? Politicians — including many Republicans — look at illegals and their family members as the new voting block in America. And for that, politicians must be sensitive to all things they consider in Congress that will impact that segment of the American population.
Lost in this rush for votes by primarily Democrats is this: while you guys fight to keep the southern border open, fight to keep the flow of future Democrat voters joining millions of others who successfully made that trek north, there’s a Kate Steinle in San Francisco and there’s one in Houston, another in New York City, one in Chicago, and one in YOUR town that just may see their life tragically ended at the hands of an illegal immigrant.
Before you label me as a xenophobe, know this: I have always been supportive of immigration and immigrants — “LEGAL” immigration and “LEGAL” immigrants. We have laws and a legal immigration process. I know the lines are long and it takes time to get through the process. BUT IT’S THE LAW! I and millions of other Americans are sick and tired of politicians and law enforcement officials picking and choosing which laws to enforce and which to ignore. And they’re ignoring in large part the prosecution of most illegal immigrants. Why do they do that? For votes.
My heart goes out to the family of Kate Steinle. She was with her Dad at the waterfront that day having a great time just being together. For doing nothing wrong other than walking in a Sanctuary City that allowed Jose Ines Garcia Zarate to walk out of jail rather than hold him for ICE to pickup to deport for the sixth time, Kate’s Mom and Dad lost their 31 year old daughter.
This guy pulled the trigger. They don’t know who stole the gun. But the politicians across America at the local, state, and federal levels allowed Sanctuary City status that put that Sig Sauer 40 caliber automatic in the hands of Jose Ines Garcia Zarate, and Kate died.
How many more of our sons and daughters will pay the ultimate price at the altar of Liberal open border policies?
