“Bullets:” Monday, September 16, 2024

Today, we are introducing the new feature we’ve discussed over the last two weeks. “Bullets” will be published in this format today, tomorrow, and Wednesday. Over the past two weeks, we introduced this in several of our “TNN Live!” shows. We covered it exclusively in our “Saturday Bullet Points” this past Saturday. Here are the details taken from Saturday’s “Bullet Points:”

Many of you were listening last week when we discussed on “TNN Live!” our plan to offer our “Saturday Bullet Points” as an option feature for our readers that will be published every day instead of just Saturday.This feature will bring the news of the previous day and that night to our readers each weekday morning. “Saturday Bullet Points” is our most-read story feature and has been for several years.

We will now have “Weekday Bullets!”

Imagine going to bed with important things happening that will continue while you sleep. When you awake the following day, a “Bullet Points” email will be waiting for you with a link to click to see the critical stories that occurred in the U.S. and around the World while you slept.

We have provided “Saturday Bullet Points” in this identical format for five years. It will function in our Weekday “Bullets” offering the same way:

  • You open your email that arrived in the wee hours of the morning;
  • You click on the link in your email;
  • Immediately, you see the front page of that day’s “Bullets” feature.

How does it work? Depending on the overnight news traffic, four to six stories will make the news for that morning. There is a bullet point followed by an explanation of each story that is two or three sentences long. Following that explanation is a blue arrow. Click that arrow — a “hyperlink” — and immediately see the full story of that event! If you don’t need the full story, move to the next “Bullet.”

Think about it: no longer will you have to get the morning newspaper that usually covers only the biggest stories of the previous day. Start your day by quickly accessing the essential stories of the evening and overnight. And they’re on your phone, iPad, or laptop!

Details

  • We’re going to do a trial run of this format next week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday;
  • If you’re subscribed to our daily story feature, you’ll get these “Bullets” each morning the same way you get your daily morning story notification link. This will be a second link;
  • Please take a look at them each morning to start your day!

Most readers will enjoy this “shortcut” to big stories every morning. And you’ll want to get those daily. What happens next?

If you want these to continue, you must let us know. Adding this feature would have great benefits but be costly for us. We’ll take the plunge, but only if enough let us know you want to continue with it. How can you do that?

In the weekday “Bullets,” you’ll receive this Monday through Wednesday (Sept. 16-18), we’ll repeat this information. If you want it to continue and you wish to be a part of it, please IMMEDIATELY send an email that will come directly to me. Just say “In” or “Out” in that email to me at Dan@TruthNewsNet.org. If enough people want to do so, we’ll begin developing it.

This process will cost us for several apparent reasons. It will require more labor. We will offer this feature to everyone for $10 per month or $100 per year. If enough join the project, we will complete the process by adding a feature on our website that will allow you to subscribe, choose the payment option, and start it immediately. You will quickly start getting those weekday daily “Bullets” several days later.

Whether you join us in this venture or not, I thank you for your consideration. More importantly, thank you for being a part of TruthNewsNet.org and “TNN Live!”

Dan

Please respond either way!

Now, let’s get to the first edition of “Bullets: Monday, September 16, 2024.”

“Bullets: Monday, September 16, 2024”

  • Oddly enough, on Friday’s “TNN Live!” Show, Dan Newman stated that it was likely that someone would try again to assassinate former President Donald Trump for the second time. And it happened Sunday in Florida, not far from Mar-a-Lago. Click on the “bullet” to get the initial report of the attempt to kill President Trump:
  • Details of the shooting and the shooter became clearer on Sunday evening. Click on the bullets for the facts that began pouring in around dinner time:
  • It did not take too long for the FBI, along with local authorities, to identify the shooter. At first blush, the man is 58 years old and is listed as living in Hawaii. Click on the bullets to get more details:
  • Did President Biden speak about this latest attempted assassination of the former President? Sadly, a large number of people on social media repeated a viral story stating that Biden heard about the alleged shooting and snickered and said, “That’s not surprising.” The President DID weigh in at 8:00 PM Sunday. Click on the bullets to hear what he had to say. Be sure to scroll down after reading the President’s statement for multiple additional follow-up stories:
  • As expected, throughout the evening hours, more details having to do with everything related to this assassination attempt poured in. Even the Daily Mail’s U.S. operations joined in with more information on the alleged shooter and even spoke to the man’s son. According to his son, the shooter despised former President Trump. The son added that his dad didn’t own a gun and “would never do anything like this.” Click on the bullets to get the details from the son, along with pictures:
  • It comes with no surprise that the suspected would-be Trump assassin’s social media accounts apparently repeat left-wing alarmism: “DEMOCRACY is on the ballot.” Click on the bullets to get complete details:

NOTE: This offering is an example of what to expect to see daily in “Bullets.” Of course, this edition deals totally with the assassination attempt against Mr. Trump. However, a “normal” day will almost always have late-breaking evening and even overnight important topics you’ll receive details about.

For the sake of your time, our descriptions of these stories and events will be shorter than in our “Saturday Bullet Points.” Depending on the daily news cycle, there’ll probably be from 5 to 10 early each morning.

We’ll give you more examples of how these will appear daily on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings this week.

As stated in the description at the top of this page, please reply to this email to me at Dan@TruthNewsNet.org and state one of two words: “In” or “Out.” After we get results this week (and probably next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday), we’ll make our determination to pursue this or not—totally based on our readers’ desires.

When we decide either way, we’ll let you know in a story here. However, if you state “In” on your email response, we will follow-up with you via email to finalize your participation.

One final note: these daily “Bullets” will be seen ONLY by those who enroll in this. None of these will be part of our normal everyday stories. It will be exclusive to those who enroll.  Our Saturday Bullet Points will, however, always be published on Saturdays.

Sorry to be so lengthy. I’m just trying to cover the bases and answer any questions. Personally, I really hope we have enrollment sufficient to get it started quickly. In this political environment we live in today, we cannot get enough factual, important information to our fellow Americans using the normal news cycle. We ALL must move higher to get facts!
