It’s one of those things that we hear about, don’t want to think it can ever happen, but deep inside know that it is and try hard to NOT think it might involve people we know. It’s a parent’s worst nightmare: somebody lurking in the dark to steal the breath of life out of our children. It’s incorrigible and something we try hard to keep somewhere deep inside. “It will never happen to us!”
But too often it does.
It’s amazing what people can keep secret. Too often word slips out about some greasy guy down the street who drives slowly around the neighborhood, looking for children to really be nice to. But that’s not how pedophilia usually happens. With technology, social media, and the fact that children from all over the world spend far too much time alone on their parents’ computers, international pedophilia linked to chid sex trafficking and online child pornography is a multi-billion dollar business — all at the expense of kids. The U.S. has its share, but in parts of Europe it has been perfected.
A former Chancellor of West Germany, Berlin senators, bureaucrats, and members of the educational establishment have all been implicated in a network “in which pedophilia positions were accepted, supported, and defended”, according to a report into the placement of homeless children with known pedophile foster parents by the German government.
For over a year, researchers at the University of Hildesheim have undertaken the examination of thousands of files in the Senate Education Administration in Berlin. The 57-page report, which was published this week, found that a “network of actors in the Senate administration and institutions of educational reforms during the home reform of the 1970s tolerated the establishment of shared apartments and foster homes for pedophile men.”
A man with a criminal record for child abuse, referred to in the report as Fritz H., was able to rape and abuse at least nine children that were given to him as foster children under the government-backed scheme. Despite the extreme warning signs, Berlin youth welfare officers consistently chose him as a foster father to children, who were often six or seven years old.
The abuse committed by Fritz H. was carried out from the 1970s until 2003, according to the local newspaper. The report specifically pointed to the Pedagogical Center in Berlin as the main coordinating institution of the scheme, though added that the policy was likely to have extended throughout the whole country.
The center was established in 1965 by then Governing Mayor of Berlin Willy Brandt of the Social Democratic Party (SDP). Brandt later served as the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany (West Germany) from 1969 to 1974.
In 1971, he was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to create closer ties with East Germany and improve relations between Poland and the Soviet Union.
According to the researchers, Willy Brandt strongly supported the project, while noting that the centre was “clearly” a subordinate of the Senate, which was presided over by governing Mayor Brandt.
The director of adult education at Pedagogical Center was Helmut Kentler (1928-2008), a social scientist, who argued that sex between adults and children was a crucial part to healthy sexual development, saying that “in some cases almost something like a gentler form of social work.”
A popular figure in Germany’s sexual revolution in the 1960s, Kentler often authored “expert” reports for the Berlin Senate and his books on “sexual liberation” were bestsellers at the time. The change in attitudes towards child sexuality in Germany at this time was part of the 1968 revolution that swept Europe and worked to throw aside all tradition and conventional wisdom, including the idea that children should not have sex with adults.
In the 1960s, there was a large population of homeless children in West Berlin. Kentler argued that the children should be placed with pedophile foster fathers, as they would be more loving towards the children. The so-called “Kentler experiment” lasted for some 30 years, with the approval of the government in Berlin.
According to University researchers, Kentler used his prominent position as director and his public reputation to shield the abuse carried out by pedophiles such as Fritz H.
The report also stressed that there are still some 1,000 files that the University was denied access to, meaning that many names of victims and those involved in the pedophile network remain unknown.
“In the basement of the education administration there are still around 1,000 files that have not yet been processed,” said Wolfgang Schröer, a member of the research team at the University in Berlin.
The report did point to three former Social Democrat Berlin senators — the Senator for School and Education Carl-Heinz Evers, the Senator for Youth and Sports Kurt Neubauer, and the Senator for Labour and Social Affairs Kurt Exner — for having a particular “hand” in the scheme.
Marco and Sven, two victims of the scheme, are currently suing the Berlin government for damages. Marco said “our lives have been ruined” and Sven added that “you can never really get over it.”
On Monday, the current Social Democrat Education Senator, Sandra Scheeres, said that the government will begin “talks about financial compensation” with the victims, reversing the previous policy of the Berlin Senate.
The “politically-correct” termed “Red-Red-Green Senate” — which gets its name from the color of the political parties in the governing coalition (red for the Social Democrats [SPD], red for the Left Party [Die Linke], and green for the Green Party) — has argued for years against any financial settlement on the grounds of statute of limitations.
In her statement, Senator Scheeres did not mention the missing 1,000 documents, the possible involvement of members from her political party, or whether members from other German parties were active in the network.
According to one of the victims: “They didn’t want anybody to be named. And they have achieved their goal. They’ve defended the system.”
Marianne Burkert-Eulitz of the Green Party — which itself pushed for the legalization of “consensual” sex between children and adults in the 1970s — accused the Senate of slow-walking an investigation into the network out of fear of political backlash if other prominent politicians are revealed to have been involved.
She said that “there were and are networks, they still exist,” adding that it may not be easy for political parties to admit culpability in the scandal “but it has to be done.”
Donald Trump during his 2016 campaign promised if elected he would immediately crackdown on pedophilia and child-sex trafficking in the U.S. His Department of Justice and FBI have quietly broken up numerous pedophilia rings throughout the U.S. making several thousand arrests. Many of the federally coordinated busts have been purposely kept quiet. When asked why, one specialist at the FBI answered, “The practice is so widespread in the U.S. we fear that if details of our investigations leak to the public, we will lose thousands of pedophiles who have been attacking U.S. children for decades. It’s a well organized and financed system that stretches across educational, ethnic, financial, and political groups. No sector in the country is without these sexual monsters.”
It was a shock to me when several years ago I learned that the sleepy little southern city of Shreveport, Louisiana, is an important stop on distribution of trafficking children snatched from all over the southwest. When talking to a federal investigator I asked what was so special about Shreveport?
“Shreveport is a perfect spot for distribution for kids of all ages for prostitution and trafficking. It’s located 180 miles east of Dallas on I-20 that intersects I-49 in downtown. It’s a natural stopping point in their distribution system.”
We have heard for a while about occasional prostitution busts at area hotels, but I had NO idea how deep the evil runs. I was reminded that “evil has no quarter, no partner, and is constantly seeking opportunity to spread its tentacles.” It’s scary that our babies are today more its targets than ever.
Twitter Directly in Pedophile Messaging
In the past week alone, it was reported that Twitter has suspended journalist Andy Ngo for tweeting inconvenient facts about the purported “epidemic” of transgender deaths, and undercover journalism organization Project Veritas from running recruitment ads. But if you’re a pedophile who wants to discuss your attraction to minors — Twitter’s just fine with that.
Big League Politics discovered a little-noticed, quietly enacted Twitter rule change from March, which says “Discussions related to child sexual exploitation as a phenomenon or attraction towards minors are permitted, provided they don’t promote or glorify child sexual exploitation in any way.”
So, if you post politically inconvenient yet accurate statistical facts, as Ngo did, you get suspended. But if you discuss “attraction towards minors,” Twitter explicitly allows it.
It goes without saying that Twitter’s policy did not come from some blanket commitment to free speech. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has specifically rejected such commitments, dismissing the idea that Twitter is the “free speech wing of the free speech party,” as one Vice President at the company described it in 2012.
In an interview with Wired last year, Dorsey said that the “free speech wing” comment was a “joke” that was taken too seriously.
“This quote around ‘free speech wing of the free speech party’ was never, was never a mission of the company. It was never a descriptor of the company that we gave ourselves,” said Dorsey.
The Twitter CEO continued, saying that a commitment to free speech “comes with the realization that freedom of expression may adversely impact other people’s fundamental human rights, such as privacy, such as physical security.”
In other words, Twitter’s decision to allow pedophiles on its platform is something they’ve chosen to do, not something they have to do.
Summary
Here we are, living our lives, going to work every morning and coming home for dinner every evening. We take our kids to school, to soccer and baseball practice, dance recitals, friends’ birthday and swim parties. We never think about kids being coaxed via the internet to talk to or meet someone “right after school.”
Our kids are vulnerable. And today there’s no age we can truthfully say “I don’t need to worry about my daughter. She’s been taught what to watch for.”
Pedophiles and sex traffickers are experts at what they do.
When I dug into what I now know for certain is the underbelly of the beast that wants to destroy all that’s good in our lives — pedophilia and child sex trafficking, it’s hard to sleep at night.
“God protect my grandchildren from the evil that wants to take them — to take all our innocent children.”
