Trump Impeachment Part 2 IS Happening

Two years before the impeachment inquiry of President Trump received the “Go” order from Speaker Nancy Pelosi; we said this at TruthNewsNetwork:

“IF the Democrats won the House in 2018, they would impeach President Trump, he WOULD be acquitted in the Senate, but House Democrats will NOT quit.”

So far, the prediction has been correct. But even the hint of such an outlandish prediction being a possibility should cause all Americans to pause and ask:

“How upside-down must be our political system for anyone even to suggest an unfounded impeachment of a President could happen once, let alone twice?”

“Upside-down” is a kind description of our current system. Washington politics, which was known for two centuries as the best political system of government on Earth, looks nothing like when that description was first-stated. D.C. has devolved into a mirror-image of multiple other world governments that are riddled with political corruption. Those that govern are no longer guided by JFK’s “Ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country.” Instead, their question is, “What’s in it for me?”

So what’s up?  Although President Donald Trump was officially acquitted, Democrats are still dancing with a second impeachment as they discuss bringing new charges against President Trump.

The Washington Times reports:

“Still pending is a wide-open probe launched by Rep. Adam B. Schiff (D-CA). Mr. Schiff has been investigating President Trump, his family and businesses, the Trump Organization, over the congressman’s suspicions of blackmail, money laundering and bribery.

Republican staffers say the inquiry was put on hold last fall pending the Ukraine impeachment proceedings led by Mr. Schiff. But there is no sign Mr. Schiff has given up trying to prove Mr. Trump is corrupt, and if the president is impeached again, the charges would likely come from this probe, informed sources said.”

During his acquittal celebration, President Trump hinted that Democrats might continue to try to impeach him.

The Left’s Obsession Continues

“So we will probably have to do it again because these people have gone stone-cold crazy, but I have beaten them all my life, and I will beat them again if I have to,” President Trump said from the White House. “But what they are doing is very unfair.”

What is the basis for the President’s statement?

• House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday that Trump investigations would go on.
• House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) said after the Senate acquittal that it’s “likely” the Ukraine probe will go on. His committee also has been investigating any Trump-Russia election conspiracy.
• “Of course, they’re going to try again,” said Pam Bondi, a former Florida attorney general and member of the president’s Senate trial defense team, on Fox News.

Who knows what Democrats will do? One thing is very predictable: Mainstream Democrats and their media lapdog pundits hate Donald Trump. The rush by Pelosi and Schiff to impeach proves that Democrat leaders are confident a victory in November will not happen for their party. And the U.S. surprisingly good economic news continues to diminish their chances to convince voters to reject a second Trump term.

We know the reality of their political plight scared them shortly after the 2016 election. House Democrats, on several occasions, filed motions for the impeachment of President Trump, even as good economic news began to prove his policies were already working. Texas Democrat Representative Al Green tipped Dems’ hand when he famously said, “The only way we can rid the world of Donald Trump is if we impeach him. We cannot beat him at the ballot box.”

Congressman Green, It appears your party leaders in the House agree with you.

Isn’t it a sad revelation of hatred for President Trump that, regardless of all the good Americans are experiencing today, Democrats have abandoned legislation to focus all their attention on what Mr. Green prophesied? Crafting legislation is their job!

They better hurry: November is just a few days away in “politi-speak.”

What are Schiff’s “other” charges against the President he is hinting he will use for part two of the Trump Impeachment? We mentioned a bit ago the money laundering, Russia conspiracy and blackmail. Does he have any evidence?

Remember this?

“I think there is direct evidence in the e-mails from the Russians through their intermediary offering dirt on Hillary Clinton as part of what is described in writing as the Russian government effort to help elect Donald Trump,” Schiff told CBS’s “Face the Nation.”

“They offer that dirt. There is an acceptance of that offer in writing from the president’s son Don Jr., and there are overt acts in furtherance of that.”

Schiff’s fellow California Congressman and former presidential candidate Eric Swalwell also claimed to have “uncontroverted evidence of Trump’s campaign collusion with Russia. On his legislative website, Swalwell provided this as “evidence:”

Despite Russia’s harmful national interests against the U.S., and its human rights violations around the world, President Trump and his team are directly and indirectly tied to Russia.

Throughout the 2016 presidential election, President Trump not only refused to criticize Russian President Vladimir Putin but was even friendly and accommodating in his remarks. In his own words, President Trump called President Putin “highly respected.”

Not only does his past and current team have ties to Russia, but the President himself also does. He has traveled to Russia extensively, done business there often, and has links to Russian interests. For example, in 2008, he made a real estate sale to Russian billionaire, Dmitry Rybolovlev. Trump bought a Palm Beach mansion in 2004 during a bankruptcy sale for $41 million, and less than four years later, without ever having moved in, Trump sold the estate to Rybolovlev for $95 million. 

Congressmen Swalwell and Schiff both consider these as “uncontroverted” proof that Mr. Trump is in bed with Russian President Vladimir Putin. It sounds to me like Mr. Trump could be an international real estate developer!

Using their logic, any American corporation or any corporation’s leaders who conduct foreign business transactions with Russia are “colluding.” If they do business with China, they must be “colluding.” There are hundreds of U.S. corporations that conduct business — and have for more than a century — with these two countries and dozens of others. Mr. Swalwell and Mr. Schiff: that’s no plot, that’s conducting regular business that in doing so employs millions of Americans. Those employees and those corporations pay billions of tax dollars from income derived from conducting those lawful business transactions with Russia and China (and do so legally) in the open market. That’s part of free enterprise and that dirty -ism “Capitalism.”

Money Laundering: Trump’s Doing It!

On money laundering, Schiff said:

“During the prior Congress, the Committee began to pursue credible reports of money laundering and financial compromise related to the business interests of President Trump, his family, and his associates. The President’s actions and posture towards Russia during the campaign, transition, and administration have only heightened fears of foreign financial or other leverage over President Trump and underscore the need to determine whether he or those in his Administration have acted in service of foreign interests since taking office.”

Then there are the “catch-all” claims against the President that will probably send Schiff back to the secret interrogation room in the basement of the House. “Russia Conspiracy” Schiff’ claims as justification for another impeachment charade. What constitutes “proof” good enough for Adam? Here’s what he says he’s looking for:

 “The extent of any links and/or coordination between the Russian government, or related foreign actors, and individuals associated with Donald Trump’s campaign, transition, administration, or business interests, in furtherance of the Russian government’s interests.”

On blackmail, Schiff said justification would be:

“Whether any foreign actor has sought to compromise or holds leverage, financial or otherwise, over Donald Trump, his family, his business, or his associates.”

“Whether President Trump, his family, or his associates are or were at any time at heightened risk of, or vulnerable to, foreign exploitation, inducement, manipulation, pressure, or coercion, or have sought to influence U.S. government policy in service of foreign interests.”

Summary

There’s nothing new! The same old tired narrative created before by Rep. Schiff, Nancy Pelosi, Jerry Nadler, Eric Swalwell, and other anti-Trump Democrats is being “dusted-off” to be put once more before the House of Representatives for another run at impeachment. I can see it now: Adam Schiff opens a committee hearing with a soliloquy that begins with:

We began this process working diligently to uncover the hidden wrongdoing on the part of Donald Trump. Trump and his minions are smart. They have for years found ways to collude with foreign entities to hide illegal money schemes and launder money through various Trump operations. We will present evidence that definitively proves that this President was and is in the pocket of the vilest leader of all political foes of the United States, Vladimir Putin. Donald Trump and members of his family and business associates have for years funneled funds “scrubbed” through Trump’s companies back to Russia as payback for their assistance in 2016 for their assisting in Mr. Trump’s win over Hillary in 2016.

In doing so, they have undercut the sanctity of our election system and thwarted the will of the American people. We cannot and will not stand for an agent of the Russian government to inhabit the White House. The House of Representatives has been charged Constitutionally to prevent anyone in government — especially this or any other president — to use the assets of this country to personally for their personal enrichment. Donald Trump has perfected that evil through years of corrupt business operations. We owe it to this nation and our fellow citizens to stop this travesty, end the corrupt use of the office of the presidency by him and his associates, and give the American people back the country for which many of our ancestors gave their lives. 

The House of Representatives will impeach Donald J. Trump for the second time. Surely this time the U.S. Senate will NOT ignore the uncontroverted facts and evidence this committee will provide with new articles of impeachment. The U.S. Senate must put aside their party loyalty and political partisanship and ignore the aggressive attempts of one man to control our country. Members of the U.S. Senate: remove him from office. He’s stolen from Americans far too long.”

All of this may seem far-fetched and just another conspiracy. If you are tempted to brush this off by saying that, remember a couple of things:

• The day that Donald and Melania Trump came down the escalator at Trump Tower to announce his presidency, I published this: “Donald Trump will win the 2016 election.”
• Before the 2016 election, I published here that “if” Mr. Trump beat Hillary Clinton for the presidency, Democrats would immediately launch investigations looking for impeachable offenses on the part of President Trump. They did. During the Mueller investigation, I wrote that Mueller would find nothing that rose to the level of impeachment but that Democrats — if they won the House in 2018 — would launch an impeachment process against the President.
• Two weeks ago, when it became apparent the Senate would acquit President Trump, I predicted Democrats would call it “illegitimate” and would use that as fuel to launch more investigations.
• Now I’m projecting there will soon be (maybe in the next few weeks) an approved impeachment inquiry to, for the second time, draw from the considerable resources of the American people to fund the second impeachment of Mr. Trump. (By the way: no one talks about the expense of the House impeachment investigation nor the Senate trial. Maybe we follow the expenses in Part 2)

My hope is that Democrats before launching an inquiry will stick their wet fingers in the air a few times a day for a month or two before even starting a “credible” impeachment inquiry — that is if there even IS such a thing as a “credible” inquiry on the part of these Democrats.

Oh, I forgot: if House Democrats can corral enough Dems to pass one or two more impeachment articles, there will NOT be seventeen GOP Senators that’ll flip and vote to President Trump guilty. If they can rush through a second impeachment inquiry, we’ll be before the November election discussing their second failed impeachment removal attempt.

Do you think Jefferson and Hamilton had this possibility in mind when the Constitution was drafted? I don’t think so. Based on their very forceful warnings about the sparingly and cautious use of impeachment, they knew there would be some party sycophants who would weaponize impeachment just as the “Pelosi/Schiff Gang” are doing.

Don’t be gleeful or too content. Most Democrats are not stupid, no matter how irrational their antics may be. So why are they doing this? He’s NOT going to be removed from office. What could their reason(s) for this Part 2 be? What are they hiding? What are they afraid to become known?
