We had another amazing week full of surprises and revelations. (Isn’t it wonderful when truths are revealed in public when evil people hide their wrongdoing, thinking exposure would never happen?) Obviously, the “whirlwind of politics” that consumes U.S. news daily continues to drop “truth bombs” on us daily. And we MUST expose them to the People. - Who can forget about those astronauts who are stuck in space until Earth can find a way to send another spaceship to bring them back home? Until a few weeks ago, they remained in limbo as experts here considered the best and most feasible method to get them home. Ah-Ha! A plan that seemed to be perfect was devised. It would get them home sometime around the first of the new year. However, on Friday, it was revealed there is a possibility (because of something that just happened) that those space travelers could be stranded in space for years! - Without question, the most anticipated event of the week was the first sit-down interview of Vice President Kamala Harris during her presidential campaign. CNN’s Dana Bash was honored to be the journalist chosen to question the VP. Oddly, though, Harris’ handlers decided she needed some “backup” for the interview. So, they sent along her running mate—Governor Tim Walz (D-MN)—in case Kamala got stuck on a question and needed help! Our friends from Sky News in Australia appeared frazzled after watching the interview and had some thoughts which, I’m confident, many Americans shared. They opined about what they watched and were puzzled, trying to ascertain whether it was an interview or a campaign commercial!
- On Friday’s “TNN Live!” Show, we shared the thoughts of several media members and average Americans who watched the Harris interview. They all agreed that Bash did a really poor job getting substantive answers to her questions asked of Harris. One media expert, Pollster Frank Luntz, explained on Friday what he felt were Vice President Kamala Harris’ seven errors and missed opportunities during her Thursday CNN interview. - Most Americans were shocked at the details of the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump in Butler, PA. How could the Secret Service have botched so badly, doing the only job the Secret Service has to do? As the details of that day unfolded during the investigation to get information, it became apparent that the agents who were there, who were backed up by local and Pennsylvania State Police, did NOT have the necessary processes and information sources necessary to keep the former President alive. Questions have arisen about the number of agents assigned to President Trump. The incident was so shocking that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced the Pentagon is making MORE military members available to augment the Secret Service’s protection details for Trump and others assigned to their protection. - The hypocrisy of the Left has never been illustrated as dramatically as the way many Dems in Congress and the media have lashed out at Donald Trump for visiting Arlington Cemetery to honor the 13 men and women who lost their lives because of Joe Biden’s mistake of leaving Afghanistan the way he did. Dozens and dozens of Democrats have found media pundits who will allow them to pontificate about the audacity of Donald Trump’s actions. “How dare he trample on the graves of the men and women buried in Arlington. Those patriots deserve better than the insurrectionist, Donald Trump!” Sadly, our Commander in Chief didn’t bother to visit Arlington on Monday’s anniversary of that suicide bombing that stole those 13 lives. Joe Biden didn’t reach out to the families, either. In fact, Biden has refused ever to mention the names of those 13 patriots! Those Gold Star parents rave about the six hours Trump spent with them personally at his New Jersey residence, listening to their stories and even crying with them. - How many times have you heard Democrats lambast Donald Trump for the failure of Congress to pass their Border Security Bill? They’ve used it as a weapon against the GOP and former President as an election weapon. They complain that Trump quashed the bill in the House by telling Republicans not to vote for it! - As many Americans are planning to shine up the grills and break out the steaks for a massive Labor Day picnic or a tailgate party at their favorite college or NFL football game, Bidenomics has ensured that Americans will pay much more today than they did a year ago for the exact same fun and food. - What may be the most absurd tax policy proposed by any other presidential candidate is not doing well among Kamala’s big donors. She announced that she’s not only going to tax capital gains but also tax “unrealized” capital gains. You may be asking, “What’s the difference, Dan?” Capital gains taxes are exactly what they say: tax on the value of what you own in stock or other financial instruments when you sell them. “Unrealized” capital gains are levied against profits that haven’t been made yet, but some expert who works for her says those assets are worth a certain amount now, which is more than what you paid for them.
