Saturday Bullet Points: October 19, 2024

OMG! How could we ever have a week with more stories covering the World’s controversy, our political quandaries, and the outlandish controversies surrounding our upcoming federal election? We found a way! This week gave us the most big stories from more varied sources than ever. We may not get to all of them, but let’s get started and see how many bullet point items we can include in our “Saturday Bullet Points.”

Bullet Points

  • President Biden’s Secretary of Transportation, Pete Buttigieg, last month made the rounds of the Sunday talk shows to comfort Americans with the just-released facts about how violent crimes across the nation were significantly lower than in previous years—including during the Trump Administration! Pete did not have the factual FBI statistics for 2023, or he had them and purposely lied. Why am I saying that? We had reported at TruthNewsNet.org several months previously that the FBI violent crime stats were “incomplete.” Why would that be? The FBI changed its reporting software two years ago, which required every police department to update its crime statistical software before reporting to the FBI. We published that story two months before Pete’s “Lying Tour!” How many police operations were not included in Pete’s statistics? Six Thousand! According to the Biden Administration, violent crime was down. According to the FBI, violent crime was up! For complete details, click on this link:
  • KellyAnne Conway, a former advisor in the Trump White House, has an ex-husband who is one of the leaders of the “Never-Trumpers,” a group of self-appointed experts who determine who is qualified to be President. They loathe Donald Trump. They’ve opposed him in every possible and are doing whatever they can to keep him from moving back into the White House. When Trump announced an upcoming Trump Rally for Madison Square Garden in New York, this group decided to pull a coup to keep the crowd who could attend that rally to a bare minimum. Why? To embarrass Trump. However, their plan involved getting thousands of Americans to call MSG, reserve tickets for that rally, and then not attend. Guess what? It backfired in dramatic fashion! • Have you watched Vice President Kamala Harris’ news promises of everything she’ll do as President? The list is too long for anyone to publish in detail. Hardly any of her promises can be accomplished without Congress. But they certainly make for excellent election fodder! Many of her “policies” center around illegal immigration. They include things like mass amnesty with fast-tracked citizenship to nearly every illegal already in the United States! Talk about “buying” votes! For complete details, click on this link:
  • Isn’t it about time for those in power in Washington to give Americans ALL the facts about the agenda of the party currently in power, which is committed to any actions necessary to keep their existing power while pushing hard to amass MORE power? Victor Davis Hanson is a government expert batting .1000 in his revelations about the “real” things happening in Washington. This week, he went public with what is happening, by whom, and their goals and objectives. Listen for these revelations from Hanson:

  • Everyone remembers Stacey Abrams. She ran for governor in Georgia and claimed for years that that election was stolen from her. She has become an election “handler” and has several non-profits that supposedly help educate voters about registration, where and when to vote, and how to assist those who need help. That sounds benign and very kind for Abrams and her entities to do. Guess what? The entities have a little financial assistance from Biden and Harris. It’s the American taxpayers who are helping her: if $2 billion can be called “help.” What’s up with that? For complete details, click on this link:
  • Have you heard about the problems in Kamala Harris’ husband’s life? Doug Emhoff — Kamala’s husband — has a significant number of sexual issues in his rearview mirror, and they’re NOT with his wife. Maybe the most serious was he impregnated a tutor during a previous marriage. But the philandering doesn’t stop there. For complete details, click on this link:
  • The federal judge in Washington, D.C., is over the trial of Donald Trump for his alleged “incitement” on January 6 in the storming of the U.S. Capitol and is making history herself. This week, Judge Chutkan inserted her personal “opinion” about motions filed by Trump’s legal team to not release materials from the recent filings by special counsel Jack Smith just weeks before the election. Chutkan said it would be “election interference” NOT to disclose those materials publicly. Do you think the Obama-appointed judge might have taken these actions before the election to impact Trump in the November election negatively? For complete details, click on this link:
  • You heard from Victor Davis Hanson in a bullet point above. However, he’s back with a shocking warning that every American must digest. The next few weeks will almost certainly see political happenings that might change the future for millions of Americans. Hanson predicts, “Something ugly will happen in the next 18 days.” For complete details, click on this link:
  •  Iran’s recent all-out ballistic missile strikes directly on Israel will NOT go without retaliation. Prime Minister Netanyahu made that clear the night of the recent attack. Israel has steadily continued to push Hamas and Hezbollah leaders into corners. Many of those leaders have been killed in the Israeli War. Though retaliation against Iran has not occurred yet, word is leaking from Israel that Israel “plots strikes on Iran to topple the regime” and “is planning to “hit them hard.” When and what will happen? For complete details, click on this link:
  • Most Americans have at least “heard” of Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), who now finds herself in a close race with her Republican challenger, Eric Hovde. They participated Friday evening in the single debate the pair had agreed to. Baldwin is a two-term incumbent, and Hovde is a multimillionaire real-estate mogul and banker. The GOP has criticized Baldwin for not agreeing to more debates for voters to contrast the differences between the pair. The Hill published a piece tracing the five top takeaways from the debate. • Fallout was expected when Ivy League colleges saw massive antisemitic and pro-Palestinian demonstrations that turned nasty in the wake of the Israel-Hamas war. Pro-Palestinian groups took militant actions in demonstrations that turned violent. Subsequently, anti-semitic acts were seen happening across the campuses of most of these prestigious universities. One can imagine that these actions would lead to concern among large donors about their continued support of universities that allowed and even encouraged these events. We knew the cost of allowing these anti-Israeli events would be significant, but not THIS significant. For complete details, click on this link:
