It’s likely that, with all the noise of the shutdown, you missed some important stories that were overshadowed by our government switching to the “Off” position. However, don’t worry, we have all of those in bullet format today.

- No one had initiated any actions to stop the onslaught of massive wrecks across the nation of 18-wheeler trucks driven by illegal aliens. Most of them cannot read English, understand U.S. traffic signs, and are poorly trained. Still, they each somehow passed a written test and driving test to sufficiently justify a license to drive a 40-ton truck with 20,000 pounds of cargo, which turns that rig into a high-power bomb! Quite a few of those “bombs” have actually happened that came with the deaths of innocent people. It should come as no surprise that most of these accidents’ illegal alien drivers came through California! - Have you kept up with the number of illegal aliens ripping Chicago apart who have been arrested by ICE? President Trump and ICE officers have steadily ferretted out six hundred illegals, arrested them, and have them pending the adjudication of their deportation. However, here comes the Leftist Judicial cavalry! Friday, a leftist judge demanded the release of 600 illegals being held at a suburban Chicago detention center! - If the above bullet points are insufficient to boil your blood, let’s add another egregious one. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins has revealed the massive abuse of the food stamp and SNAP program. The results of an investigation revealed a still-unknown number of abuses of taxpayer money totaling billions. Twenty-nine states — mostly red states — responded to the Department and provided their recipients’ identifications so they could be cleared of possible fraud. (The other twenty-one states have not made their information available. How many people do you think, among the twenty-nine states’ enrollees, are NOT legitimate? I won’t give you those numbers. - U.S. Citizens have become numbed to the massive spending that happens in almost all fifty states. We expect states like New York, California, Illinois, and a few other big states to spend a lot. However, it’s doubtful anyone expects smaller states like Maryland ever to have spending issues. Don’t make that a “for certain” issue! Maryland, of all states, is reporting a budget deficit that rivals that of the largest of states like CA, IL, and NY. Before you read the details, know this: budgets are “expectations.” It may shock you, but often politicians — especially during campaigns — are prone to “fudge” on budgets. After all, they need the majority of the voters in their state to feel comfortable with the state’s budget. It’s hard to believe, but the state of Maryland is facing a mountainous budget deficit of $1,400,000,000! (That’s $1.4 billion) Experts tell us they know why such a deficit can be expected. - In the uproar over the election a few weeks ago, Mamdani’s election as New York City mayor dominated the news. There’s one more election, not quite as exciting as that of Mandami, but it IS exciting. Seattle voters elected Katie Wilson, who campaigned on being a “special” elected official. Among many of her far-left plans for Seattle is a proposal to prevent grocery corporations from laying off hundreds of people “overnight.” Wait a minute: there are more socialist dream goals in her plans. - Guess who finds himself in the bullseye of the Trump Department of Justice? Governor Gavin Newsom. When Newsom called that quick election, only to authorize the gerrymandering of up to five Congressional districts in the state, supposedly to negate the redistricting Texas did months ago that converted five predominantly Democrat districts to predominantly Republican districts. The big legal challenge for California is that Texas’s redistricting was legal as part of Texas law. Newsom and California: not so much:
- Here’s one that will shock you. Did you know the Georgia election case in Atlanta remains ongoing? I thought it had been kicked to the curb! However, a new legal action in that case happened this week. The Judge in the case — Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee — ordered prosecutors to drop three pending charges. - The “Schumer Shutdown” impacted millions of Americans. Many could not work, did not get paid, and some were forced to work through the shutdown and did not get paid at all! It’s hard to justify being forced to work and being told they will be paid “as soon as possible.” The word was released Friday that “exemplary” TSA agents will receive a significant bonus just in time for Christmas after they stuck with their bosses and their jobs and did the work without a paycheck.
