Obviously, this week’s #one bullet point is one for the ages: Five astronauts were the first humans to see the back side of the Moon. The crew of the Artemis II returns to Earth after completing their NASA mission flying around the Moon on Friday, April 10. This monumental accomplishment was apparently almost perfect in every way. There’s no doubt that history will give us every little historical fact from the trip for those five astronauts. However, the best part of space flight is its return to Earth: SAFELY!
Newspaper headlines across the Globe are carrying this frontpage headline today — or at least one version of it: Artemis II Mission Ends With Splashdown Off San Diego. History will chronicle the multitude of events that occurred during this first-of-its-kind spaceflight.
There’s no doubt that foreign dollars flood into the U.S. every year — especially at election time. It’s a shame, but we will eventually hear the numbers of the hundreds of millions of dollars flooding into the U.S. to “impact” our election results. Now more than ever, many Americans are crying for legislation that will expressly prohibit any foreign money from finding its way into our elections. One state has already “closed the door” on foreign “electioneering” in its state.
Do you remember the assaults on Donald Trump by Democrat attorneys across the nation in an obvious attempt to destroy his career and all of his businesses? One of the most egregious such actions was initiated by New York Attorney General Letitia James. James was successful in a wild case in which she obviously was planning to destroy Trump personally; at the same time, she would shut down his massive business conglomerate. Though she won a monstrous case to the tune of 9-figure court assessments, appeals are whittling away at her treasure trove.
The saga of monstrous sharks around the World exploded with the “Jaws” series. Hollywood used the “fear factor” that accompanies shark stories and created a saga that has, since that movie, escalated the number of shark attacks reported around the World. However, it appears there is a creature in the sea that has, for years, been much larger and much more dangerous than “little old sharks.” A “MEG” apparently does exist!
Most Americans are holding their breath each month for the latest economic numbers that affect their wallets. The conflict in Iran has caused energy prices to skyrocket. Almost daily, the rumors of “a deal” with Iran are about to reverse our energy costs and calm the battles in the Middle East. Though the economic numbers reportedly went up a bit, the numbers were far from what the so-called experts had forecast.
Since its establishment as a nation, the United States has seen its population grow each and every year. The number of births has steadily climbed, prompting assurances that our population will keep up with the demands society places on governments for workers of every kind as our numbers grow. However, some shocking numbers have ignited fear, as our population growth is falling dramatically each year. Why?
One of the hottest daytime shows continues to puzzle entertainment experts: How can the lunacy that daily spews lies and gross misrepresentations of a massive number of events, individuals, and “news” be used to educate their audience? “The View” is far from what it was when Barbara Walters invented it years ago. One of its stars, Whoopi Goldberg, pontificates daily and demands that every word spoken by its stars must be accepted as factual. One entertainer has created a method to routinely blast the show as a whole but Whoopi individually, which is shaking up the daytime hit and its stars.
Though some are skeptical, most MAGA Republicans still give the President their support in this conflict with Iran. Thankfully, so far, the deaths of Americans in the battles have been minimal. But it seems that Iran — even with the number of unbelievable deaths of massive numbers of Iran’s political and military leaders, along with billions of dollars of military equipment, weaponry, their Navy and Air Force — is going to “Go the distance” with the President.
By now, every American knows the story of the American couple who were visiting the Bahamas and encountered very rough waves while in a very small boat taking them to their yacht. The husband frantically reported to the local police that his wife had fallen from the boat and had disappeared in the large waves, and he could not find her. As of this story, she remains missing. However, he is now being looked at as “possibly” being implicated in his wife’s disappearance. Daily, new information shows up that is painting a bleak picture for the husband with allegations of spousal abuse showing up.
