“Will it go round in circles, Uh-Huh, Uh-Huh?!” That Billy Preston song from the ’70s accurately explains life in “political” America today! How much more controversy can the U.S. political system stir up and set in motion? It’s incredible how many negative issues are suddenly appearing daily, as if they all happened at once!
Of course, none of them “just happened.” “All” of them have been kept in hiding as the perpetrators struggle to keep the worst of the worst from the American people. That process has been normalized through the years, especially at the federal level. The first Trump Administration saw its daily conundrums. But the second Trump occupancy of the White House is setting the craziness on fire like never before!
We have a number of these crazy events to share with you today, in bullet-point form. That way, you’ll get a quick two or three-sentence description of each. If you want the details, click the blue arrow to jump to the full story. This process will save you significant time while ensuring you don’t miss any of the week’s big stories.
Let’s get started!
Bullet Points
- The Dan Bongino saga is finally coming to a close. For the second time in Dan Bongino’s first year as FBI Deputy Director under Kash Patel, rumors circulated this week that he is resigning. The same thing happened immediately after the initial exposure of a snippet of details from Jeffrey Epstein’s case, which have plagued hundreds of U.S. politicians who may or may not have participated in antics at Epstein’s “Love Shack” in the Caribbean. However, Bongino put the questions to rest by explaining why he really “IS” leaving the FBI. For complete details, click on this link:

- Do you remember the incident in a Milwaukee County court about six months ago? The judge was handling the case of an illegal alien and was presiding over the man’s sentencing. However, it was revealed to the judge that two ICE members were waiting outside the courthouse and planned to immediately take the alien into custody and start his removal process based on federal law. Little did those ICE officers expect that the judge would decide to smuggle the illegal out of a back door of the Courthouse to assist him in running from ICE! Things turned south pretty quickly. ICE caught the man, and the judge was arrested. This week, she appeared before a judge for trial on her illegal actions. How did it go? For complete details, click on this link:

- Several weeks ago, news broke of fraud in Minnesota involving a large amount of taxpayer dollars over several years. Initial implications named Somali immigrants, who number in the hundreds of thousands, who live in Minnesota. Every day since, new evidence has been uncovered proving that the corruption and fraud amount to billions of dollars. One can imagine that, in these circumstances, many political figures at the local, state, and federal levels must know about this fraud, even if they are not part of it. Here’s the latest:
- President Trump signed a new law several months ago that ordered the immediate release to the public of ALL of the “Epstein Files.” These documents contain hundreds of thousands of documents, contracts, and notes, and tens of thousands of images. Late Friday afternoon, the Department of Justice began releasing these documents to the public. But there’s a catch. The law made clear that in the release of all the documents and pictures, redactions MUST protect the identities and pertinent details of the thousands of people who were minors who allegedly participated in many of the activities at Epstein’s private island in the Caribbean. It will take days, if not weeks, to review all the files. However, the preliminary responses to the release have many upset because of the redactions. The President made clear that there should be NO redactions of anyone’s personal information or facts in the release unless doing so would be dangerous to those individuals and/or their families, especially if they were past or present political figures. As expected, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was not happy about the release. She’s demanding the firing of one person involved in the Epstein Saga. For more details, click on this link:

- Turning Point USA kicked off its first national conference since the death of its founder, Charlie Kirk. His widow, who took over as CEO of the conservative entity, stated in her opening remarks that she would work to elect Vice President J.D. Vance as President in 2028, even though Vance has not announced plans to run. This announcement by Erika Kirk likely kicked off MAGA infighting ahead of the 2028 presidential election. - The most beleaguered governor in the U.S. is Minnesota’s Tim Walz. Walz, who plans to run for re-election next year, was a dismal candidate in 2024, running as Kamala Harris’s vice presidential running mate. In short, he quickly showed the world he had trouble telling the truth on many fronts. He was confronted publicly for “fudging” on so-called “facts” from his military service. Even most Democrats still cringe when he appears in public interviews. He’s embarrassing for the Democrat Party! However, Walz faces a conundrum today that he is unlikely to resolve. He’s caught in the midst of a massive corruption and fraud scandal dominating the news. Billions of taxpayer dollars have disappeared on his watch. Experts claim it is impossible that Minnesota’s governor did not at least know what was happening with such a large amount of money flowing through his state. Many feel he may have been involved. Today, his interviews and statements have softened from the runaway cartoon character he presented himself to be as a VP candidate.
- Normally, a large organization or corporation facing possible reorganization every four years would do everything possible to investigate all issues that cost it one of those four-year contests. Why? To guarantee that the mistakes that resulted would be carefully stamped out of any future reorganization. No credible person should disagree that the Democrat Party was thumped in the 2020 election: not just losing the presidency to Donald Trump. They lost the majority in the House of Representatives AND the Senate. That’s what happened to the Democrat Party. However, the Democratic Party Chairman announced last week that the DNC will keep its after-action report from that election sealed. No one will be allowed to see and/or share it. Why is that? One would expect they’d want “all hands on deck” to ensure that what led to the shellacking of their party in 2024 would never happen again. For complete details, click on this link:

- Friday saw a massive earthquake in the Republican Party. GOP firebrand Elise Stefanik (R-NY) announced she is ending her bid to become New York state’s next governor. In a written statement, she announced that. However, she also stated that she will not run for re-election to her seat in Congress as a U.S. House member representing her district. Both of these announcements were unexpected. Why did she make this decision? For complete details, click on this link:

- The signing of a nearly $1 trillion bill by President Trump was overshadowed by a busy week. Just before members of Congress fled Washington for Christmas, they celebrated the signing of the $900 billion National Defense Authorization Act, which drastically advances his vision for the U.S. military. Sadly, though, politics as it is gave Democrats the opportunity to load some fat in the bill that conservatives had no choice but to accept. For complete details, click on this link:

- To end today’s Bullet Points, I hunted to find an applicable story that, while giving important information, would show the insanity of the leadership in the Democrat Party directly. Leland Vitter interviewed Rep. Deborah Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) and asked her a pointed question. He wanted her to identify the biggest threat to the United States of America. And he gave her two options to choose from. Her answer was unbelievable:
