Saturday Bullet Points: February 14, 2026

How are things in the United States? Honestly, the answer to that question is one hundred percent based on who answers it. No doubt, Leftists have no other option than to consistently rail against President Trump for his “horrible” job as POTUS. There’s one real problem with that thought process: the Left cannot rely on the facts of our economy, our foreign relations, or the status of our military and intelligence agencies as they pertain to the mission every president must fulfill. Each must take whatever measures are necessary to “protect and defend the United States against any threat, internally or internationally.

Trump inherited the leftovers from the worst administration in United States history: PERIOD!

Let’s pull together and gather some of the most important details from the events domestically and overseas over the last week. Let’s look at “Bullet Points!”

Bullet Points

  • Let’s begin by examining the latest economic news. I promise, the results for the last month are really good. When adding these January statistics, our nation is economically light-years ahead of the Biden Administration in every area:
  • Democrats showed the entire World what their plan is for “fixing” the things they consistently claim are horrible in every level of governing; all of the blame for these disasters lies at the feet of President Trump. The constant lies from the Democrat Party leadership are doing little to convince the American people that their claims about the President are true. In fact, Americans, in large numbers, know exactly what is happening — and what is NOT happening — and who is responsible. Most Americans know for certain that Trump’s government actions have moved us forward in dramatic fashion and at an unexpected speed. Meanwhile, Dems continue to fight to convince Americans that Democrats are the only answer for everything:
  • What has dominated the entire news cycle every day for two weeks now: the status of Nancy Guthrie. Details, though sketchy, are dominating the news cycle around the clock. Every national network is soaking its viewers around the clock with the latest “facts” in the Guthrie case. As of 10:00 PM (Central) Friday night, here are the most up-to-date facts.
  • What has happened to the anti-ICE protest-turned-violent Democrats? In Minnesota, ICE, after amazing success in rounding up several thousand illegal aliens while finding hundreds of those missing children who disappeared after crossing the southern border, is reducing the number of agents there and moving elsewhere to other cities. You’ll be glad to know these well-paid protestors have devised a new way to notify people in sanctuary cities when ICE agents are getting close: they used to rely on whistles. Now, technology has brought a “louder” notification method.
  • I really like Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO). One can tell he was an aggressive prosecutor before joining the Senate. He demonstrated his remarkable ability to question a potential actor about massive corruption and financial fraud in Minnesota before the Senate and the World. Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison tried to act smug as Hawley drilled him with a massive number of facts. Was Hawley successful? You decide!

  • As we watch our political system function today, it becomes more obvious each day that the Democrat Party, almost in unanimity, has moved too far left to continue to be called “Moderate.” A nice term for them is now “Activists.” And, according to Democrat news media reports, a large majority of Americans feel Democrats are far from what their party members have historically been. Even the far-left media agree!

  • In the bundle of special elections from deaths and resignations, it appears that Democrats are winning that war. Surprisingly, in the fray of these elections, Democrats have a decisive edge. The latest such candidate won a major upset victory over a former congressman in a Democrat House primary the week after a special election. It happened in New Jersey, and in dramatic fashion.
  • America’s favorite governor is back in the war against President Trump. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D-MN), after learning he is under investigation by the DOJ for massive corruption and fraud, has decided to “fight fire with fire.” The governor proposed a $10 million emergency relief package for small businesses across the state affected by the Trump administration’s immigration “crackdown.”
  • In the aftermath of the passage by House Republicans of the “SAVE Act,” President Trump stated. ” The SAVE Act will require individuals to present proof of citizenship to register to vote AND show IDs when they vote. But the President went one step further: “There will be Voter I.D. for Midterm Elections, whether approved by Congress or not.” Can that happen?
  • There’s no question that Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) is a firebrand when it comes to protecting the legal right to vote. He recently confronted Democrats who are prepared to fight to give millions of illegal aliens the right to vote without being citizens. In a recent floor speech, Jordan excoriated Democrats with facts.
  •  The streets of Iran are bloody in the aftermath of the systematic slaughter of thousands of protestors. Iran’s theocratic rulers have decided to take their actions against politicians who chose to join with those protestors. They are summarily being arrested, and no one knows what will happen.
  • Have you recovered from the Super Bowl last weekend? The actual game was a bit disappointing. Americans have become accustomed to high-scoring games, especially in championship games. However, THIS Super Bowl was controversial for another reason: 8 million viewers tuned out from the halftime show, opting for the “substitute” halftime show, which aired on YouTube and other platforms to a program put together by Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA. And the NFL senses they’re in big trouble!
