Saturday Bullet Points: February 4, 2023

Balloons, Corvettes, and documents: all that in a week — but with a whole lot more. Keeping up with the Biden Administration is as tough as…Hmmm…keeping up with Hunter Biden’s laptop!

It WAS a real week in Washington. Every week under this President is a “real” week. Why does no one know what Joe Biden will do from one day to the next? On top of that, nobody knows what Joe Biden will “say” next. I don’t think even Joe Biden knows that. One thing, however, is sure: Joe will misrepresent facts, take credit for items that Abraham Lincoln did, and drop a witty bit of business making it his own. But it was really something Russian President Gorbachev said twenty years ago.

Oh well: just another week in “Biden Land.”

Seriously, let’s look back on the week’s big stories and see if you saw them all. If you didn’t, we have them. And, if you did, we have complete details you may have missed. Let’s get started with the ten biggest stories of the week!

Bullet Points

  • Yes, Communist China sent up a giant weather balloon with something “huge” hanging below it, and that balloon spent the week over the U.S. But it’s not over just any part of our country. It has hovered over U.S. military assets, including the largest trove of our underground nuclear missiles. Republicans have gone crazy that the Biden Administration decided not to shoot it down! Just imagine how much military intelligence that balloon has stolen. Someone said, “Donald Trump would have already blown it out of the sky!” I don’t think so. Long before it flew over American soil, Trump would have called Xi Jinping and told him to make sure it didn’t fly over the U.S. What’s going to happen, if anything? • AT&T’s Pebble Beach ProAm golf course highlights the PGA tour in the early season. Some of the most prominent named people from professional sports and the entertainment industry play each year. The golf course is spectacular, equaled only by the Pacific Ocean’s view as the wave hammers the beach next to hole #18 — one of the most famous holes in golf. A little more excitement showed up at the tournament. A caddy had a major medical event happen on the course. The round was held up, awaiting an ambulance to take the caddy to an emergency room. Guess which amateur was part of the group the caddy was working for? For complete details, click on this link:
  • What would we have done if Elon Musk had not bought Twitter? What if Elon had bought Twitter but not done anything with it, as he has to expose much of the wrongdoing against conservatives? Well, thank God He did. So many evil actions taken by our government against its citizens have been exposed. But, even with the Twitter Files and what they have revealed, questions still abound that ask, “What has our government done taking actions against us stealing our freedoms? Do you want to know? • Where did all of this transsexual entertainment originate? Has it always been there but hiding? If that’s the case, why did it just crawl from under a rock in the past two years? And who let it out? I don’t have those answers, but it indeed is “out of the closet.” And it seems there is a demographic that this generation of drag queens has targeted. Their target: our young children. And Florida’s governor Ron DeSantis has had enough. He’s doing everything possible to protect Florida’s young children. His latest weapon against it? He’s pulling the liquor licenses from establishments that promote these shows. For complete details, click on this link:
  • We cannot leave out the shocking jobs report from Friday. It was good, no doubt. One can rest assured that President Biden will begin his State of the Union address to Congress next week by claiming, “My administration created 517,000 new jobs in December!” The Labor Department was probably shocked as they compiled the job numbers: NO ONE expected a report that good. Well, please take those numbers in “context:” very few of those jobs are “new” jobs. They’re people deciding to re-enter the workforce after their year or so on the sidelines that began with Biden’s COVID shutdown. There’s more to this story. For complete details, click on this link:
  • To clarify employment in this assortment of economic numbers, remember that numerous large corporations have been shelling employees in the thousands over the last few months. It was announced that U.S. employers terminated more than 100,000 jobs in January alone. Those cuts came after Big Tech companies had already eliminated thousands of jobs at the end of 2022. What’s going on with all of this lousy employment information? For complete details, click on this link:
  • Who can forget the debacle last year that began with Attorney General Merrick Garland’s letter to the FBI instructing them to initiate actions to stop parents from terrorizing school board members? The temper escalated when it was discovered that the White House was involved after cries from a national teachers union to take such actions against those concerned parents. AG Garland took a eat a lot of heat for his involvement. Those parents were being targeted as “domestic terrorists!” That era is over. The new House Judiciary Committee chair, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), issued subpoenas to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Garland to appear and explain precisely what happened. For complete details, click on this link:
  • Did you hear that Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was booted from the House Foreign Affairs Committee this past week by new House Speaker Kevin McCarthy? The Earth will NEVER be the same! There was a circus the next day on the floor of the House. Every member of the Squad went nuts delivering excoriating messages for all to hear. The bottom line: McCarthy, other Republicans in Congress, and any American who agreed with McCarthy’s actions are racists, xenophobes, and Islamaphobes. Of course, the talk shows were nuts — especially The View. The conversation was “heated,” to say the least. A Conservative host on the show tried to calm things down by injecting some quiet and truthful input. How was it received? For complete details, click on this link:
  • The U.S. Climate Czar, John Kerry, must be squirming a bit at the U.S. weather situation. I remember when John Kerry and former Vice President Al Gore were touting the inevitable “Global Warming” in the late 1990s. When it became apparent that Earth’s temperatures were NOT rising but going down, they had to find a way to continue their quest to control the World by using Earth’s climate. It worked! They just changed the name. It’s now “Climate Change.” So, if we have a scorching year, they blame “Climate Change;” a cold year, they blame “Climate Change.” Kerry and Gore want you to forget about their old talking point, “Global Warming,” especially this Winter as the northeast is facing (this weekend) possibly the coldest temperatures on record! How cold? For complete details, click on this link:
  • The heat is rising in the Hunter Biden “Laptop from Hell” debacle. Hunter (and the other Bidens) hoped it would all fade over time. The clock keeps moving while the focus and attention on Hunter keep growing. The President’s son is so desperate that he’s calling on Dad Joe and Joe’s employees and friends to get him out of this self-made fiasco! What are the plans, and who is involved? Note: I cannot go through the day — February 4th — without recognizing someone having a significant birthday. ALL birthdays are important. Some people gripe about getting older. But the opposite doesn’t work out too well! Not having another birthday means someone is “assuming room temperature,” as Rush Limbaugh said.

My wife, Mary Ann, is celebrating her 70th birthday.

Most of you don’t know her. You don’t know how graceful, long-suffering, devoted, and hard-working she is.

I was hoping you could take my word for it: she’s all the above!

I’ve shared 47 of those with her and have been blessed by her selfless life. And I don’t deserve those.

Happy Birthday, Wife, Mother, Sister, Daughter, and Nonnie. You’re the BEST!
