If Americans cannot join and agree on anything but that, let’s try to let that fact alone give us positive thoughts through Independence Day Weekend. If this weekend had not happened in 1776, who knows where we’d be today — and what language we’d be speaking!

We all remember the 2016 campaign when Donald Trump’s followers took ownership of the tag “MAGA,” which means “Make America Great Again.” While conservatives in the millions proudly adopted that abbreviated title, the Left picked it up to use as a weapon against Trump supporters. And as we all look ahead to the next presidential election, even President Biden has picked that up and made it MORE aggressive when discussing anyone who appears to have a conservative approach to politics. Mr. Biden now calls ALL conservatives “Ultra-MAGA” supporters. Once more, Trump adherents relish that title. - The state of affairs regarding American energy grows worse and worse daily. No other issue in the lives of Americans receives more daily attention than the cost of energy during the eighteen months of the Biden Administration. On the first day of his Administration, Biden’s executive action against the fossil fuel industry initiated a downhill slide in the number of energy supplies necessary to live that we consistently have obtained from our own energy production in the United States. Biden loves to blame “those evil fossil fuel companies,” but Americans understand the angst we all face daily at the pump is a direct result of Biden’s actions. However, very quietly, the EPA has a target painted on the nation’s largest oil and gas field for more egregious regulations: the Permian Field in Texas. Of course, their justification is that “the largest carbon fuel producers are creating the largest volume of carbon emissions.” So Governor Greg Abbott has taken on the Biden Administration for targeting the number one source of oil and gas for Americans. - That famous statesman, Forrest Gump, made a statement that will endure through all time: “Stupid is as Stupid does.” There’s no more appropriate place to look for the illustration of Forrest’s thought than in California. Governor Gavin Newsome is infamous for using giveaways to keep California voters in his pocket. But he’s now proposing an action that is probably going too far. Even though economists around the World are confident that floods of government money dramatically increase inflation, Newsome has come up with a new idea for his citizens: MORE FREE MONEY! - We haven’t yet endured the midterm election chaos as the political wars begin, and thoughts are even further ahead — to 2024. The BIG question is: “Which Democrat will run for President?” Democrats keep telling us that President Biden is the obvious choice, and if he runs, he’s a cinch for another victory. Most of the nation is not sure of that. Who do you think Hillary Clinton will support? Hmmm… As a leader in the Democrat Party, one would think that she would certainly support and endorse Joe Biden. - Surely you remember when TikTok hit the U.S. social media scene. Teenagers love using the app. When we were informed that the application was written in China and that the platform that hosts the app is affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party, many Americans detached their kids from using the app and deleted it from their phones. - In the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v Wade, protestors have a new target on the Court: Justice Amy Coney Barrett. Protestors had been continually protesting at Justices Alito and Kavanaugh’s homes. Who can forget the foiled assassination attempt of Justice Kavanaugh? Outside Barrett’s home, protestors showed they possess NO decency and NO support of the Constitution. Doing this at Barrett’s home is especially troubling because the Justice has a home filled with children, several of which are young. - I don’t know how to describe President Biden’s state of mind in light of his actions since the overturning of Roe. When in Europe, he loudly blasted the actions of the Supreme Court in the case. I don’t think any other president would dare publicly diminish one of the three co-equal branches of our government — especially not in Europe! But Biden on Friday took it even further. In a virtual meeting with the governors of several blue states, the President warned those red-state governments are preparing to arrest women who travel to OTHER states for their abortions! - You’d be wrong if you think Biden cannot take his rants about abortion to any higher level. He has not accepted that any woman who wants an abortion has a legal right to pursue one in ANY state in which abortion is legal. That’s not good enough for Uncle Joe. He screams daily he wants Congress to pass a federal abortion law to make abortion legal nationwide. And in his next paragraph, he states that “we don’t have enough votes in the Senate to kill the filibuster which must happen to get the votes to do so.” He says those two sentences in the same speech! - Democrats and two RINO (“Republican In Name Only”) Republicans told the world the January 6 Select Committee was to investigate and hold everyone involved in the insurrection at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, accountable for their crimes. There has been NO investigating in this charade. There have been plenty of testimonies — some in public but many in a private setting — in which NO regular order has been included. No Deposition nor any evidence has been provided to Republicans. Republicans have NOT been allowed to cross-examine any of the witnesses nor to receive any witness testimonies. And the only Republicans on the committee voted to impeach Trump and do NOT stand for any Republican inclusion in this monkey trial.
