Without question, this past week has been the most eventful week during the Trump presidency: both of his terms! I’ll take that one step further. This past week was the most eventful week of the last five years — maybe longer!
We’ll try to capture the excitement along with all the details to help ensure that we never forget the historical meanings, so that all can remember.
I’ll step out on a limb and say that the sheer minutia that was necessary to accomplish the attack on Iran’s three nuclear laboratories will certainly join previous military achievements as being “historical game changers.
However, don’t forget: this week was marked by numerous great successes on many fronts for President Trump and the American people. Let’s take a look at the top one!
(Of course, there are many more important events from the week that we’ll grab after our look at Iran’s massive attack!)
Bullet Points
- Every day since last Sunday’s successful strike on Iran’s three nuclear missile laboratories, details of this mindboggling operation are finding their way into media outlets around the World. Probably, we will never know every detail of this unthinkable achievement. Indeed, a large portion of the processes will remain classified. I thought the best way to start peeling the layers of information was to get to the heart of the operations. To get a detailed explanation of the entire operation, click on this link:
- Regulars here are aware of my strong feelings about Mainstream Media. Personally, being in media for decades, it’s hard to accept that “news” today is seldom “news.” More appropriately, the Mainstream Media should be named “Today’s Storytellers.” Rarely do the “fake news” operators give us facts. It’s forced millions of Americans to struggle to find sources for news they can trust. Now, with artificial intelligence, it’s even more challenging to trust stories that we can verify as real. However, I came across an article published by a typically left-leaning news outlet, Politifact, that provides a comprehensive explanation of the best way to ensure that what we see and hear in the news is not fake. - At this point, it is justified for every American to see what the “experts” had to give to the American people about the attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities. Contrary to what one would expect from previous administrations, President Trump’s military leaders had free rein to share the facts of this unique military operation with all the American people. What follows here is a forty-one-minute detailed explanation of the operation, which includes video and exhaustive details. (This one may be a video you want to save to preserve in history for your family.)
- So much for the “facts.” How about what the United States’ “alternative” media reported for the Iranian operation? Rather than include here the false versions from the “nut jobs” that call themselves “journalists” and “truth-sayers,” let’s take a look at several news outlets side-by-side. To compare how the New York Post, New York Times, and Wall Street Journal each wrote and printed their distinct perspectives, click on this link:
- President Trump’s number one enemy in the Media has been CNN for years. As expected, CNN was quick to — within hours of the strike — report that military analysts stated the damage to Iran’s nuclear facilities was NOT “obliterated,” and most certainly would be able to — within “months” — restart their uranium enrichment program again. Supposedly, that information came from “military intelligence” sources that, of course, remain “anonymous.” However, there are numerous military and intelligence experts who debunk CNN’s sources and, by extension, this report. Several of those experts pointed out that such intelligence is impossible at this point to investigate because of the sheer devastation of the mountain pierced by those U.S. bombs some 300 yards below the surface. Take a look at CNN’s version of this story:
- With all the usual pushback by U.S. mainstream media and their efforts to denigrate the President’s claims along with his nuclear experts, honest journalists would never jump to such conclusions as did CNN and their “fellow” fake news buddies. Why not wait to see what Iran would reveal to the World about the attack’s results? The answer to that question is obvious: in a fake news World, being first out with a negative story involving Donald Trump will always win in their news market! Who from Iran would one expect to know how bad the damages were? As repressive as Iran’s leaders are, no Iranian would dare misrepresent what their leadership wanted portrayed to the World that might make Iran look bad. How about the messaging that came from Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei? For complete details, click on this link:
- Let’s get to the domestic big stories of the week. First, President Trump’s push is for the completion by July 4th of the bill that will set the economic structure of our government for this fiscal year. The House passed its version a month ago and sent it to the Senate. The Senate has been working on it ever since. A bill in Congress is always subject to scrutiny and revision by lawmakers for a multitude of reasons. This bill, unfortunately, is the most important legislation that must pass to avoid the most significant tax increase on Americans in history! However, the Senate is facing the possibility of this bill NOT being passed because of one person. And that person is NOT a member of Congress. Who could do such a thing and why? - The U.S. Supreme Court completed its yearly schedule on Friday, marking the last day of the Court’s term. This week’s resolved cases are life-changing for tens of millions of people and are among the most contentious Supreme Court actions in our lifetimes. We’ll begin with Thursday’s opinion. The Supreme Court ruled Thursday that South Carolina has the power to block Medicaid funding for Planned Parenthood clinics, in a technical interpretation over healthcare choices that has emerged as a larger political fight over abortion access. It involves South Carolina’s blocking of Medicaid funding for Planned Parenthood South Atlantic, which the organization argued violated federal law. It’s crucial, too. - The Supreme Court voted to lift temporary blocks on President Trump’s order ending birthright citizenship for the children of parents who were in the country temporarily or without legal authorization. For complete details (and to read the Court’s ruling), click on this link:
- The third SCOTUS finding was probably the most important—and most controversial—of the Court’s decisions on all cases during this term. Americans have watched in horror as federal district judges have issued injunctions against President Trump’s actions sixty times this year. Nothing even similar to these actions has ever happened before in U.S. history. Leftists in government and Democrats nationwide felt these activist judges’ findings would stop Donald Trump from what many Democrats say is “authoritarian” governing. The Court’s finding on this single matter may be the most important ever rendered by any Supreme Court! For complete details, click on this link:
