After watching the World for the past week, what are the most important issues you can think of this morning? Sure, there are a bunch of things that happened. But what, if any of them, can fall into the category of “Most Important?”
There were some important matters that commanded the bulk of new coverage. However, in this news process, I’ve often discovered that what the media deem important is not the MOST important happening of the week. Let’s see if we can round up the really important happenings of the week. And let’s not rely on the mainstream media to give us the list!
Bullet Points
- One of the most shocking occurrences was the sudden death of the most prolific stock car driver in history: Kyle Bush. At age 41, Bush suddenly passed away on Thursday at his home. The circumstances of his death are just now “leaking” into the media. But no one has stepped forward to give us a real explanation of what happened.

- Hours after the notification of Kyle’s sudden death, a shocking message on another important issue was released by the federal government. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced her departure from the ODNI at the end of June. Though Gabbard has been a prolific leader in her department, which is tasked with uncovering all kinds of criminal issues through the multiple intelligence agencies, her reason for leaving was the sad revelation of her husband’s diagnosis of serious bone cancer.
