Saturday Bullet Points: October 11, 2025

We all know what the top story of the week, month, and maybe year will probably be: “Donald Trump Brokers a Peace Deal Between Israel and Hamas!”

Governments around the World are scrutinizing every part of that process — and not just the governments of the countries that are directly involved. The impact of this peace — if it holds — will have ramifications for the entire World and for years to come.

We will keep close watch on the details of this agreement for some time to come. Let’s all pray for those involved to do the “right things” regarding the details of this agreement.

Meanwhile, our world is full of OTHER stories that have important details that impact many Americans. Let’s look back at the week, identify the most important events, and analyze their significance for us all.

Bullet Points

  • Millions of people around the globe are cautiously celebrating the miraculous Peace Deal brokered by President Trump. Many from both sides of the political spectrum have been graciously acknowledging that this would not have happened successfully if it weren’t for President Trump. Acknowledgment for this success by the President has been in abundance over the last twenty-four hours. One such statement came from President Trump’s predecessor, Barack Obama. Sadly, though, the former President, while gracious with his praise for the accomplishment, Obama NEVER uttered President Trump’s name in doing so. What’s up with that? • There are tens of millions around the World who have been watching Donald Trump’s efforts to initiate a “permanent” peace deal between Israel and whoever else will come to the cable. Many of those millions have actually been hoping for a Trump failure! One would think that permanent peace in the Middle East would benefit everyone on Planet Earth. However, not so much for the Left! It’s sad to think that’s true, but it is. Do you think there will be any of those who will legitimately attempt to acknowledge Trump’s victory in this? It’s going to be fun to watch!
  • Friday marked Day Ten for the “Schumer Government Shutdown” of the Federal Government. Late Friday, the first batch of federal employees who will immediately be sent home as part of the shutdown was released. Accordingly, worry and concern are taking over the minds of millions of federal employees who have no option other than to be patient and pray for an immediate withdrawal of the shutdown. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has been swamped with requests for interviews, private meetings, and even more than a few “atta-boys” from his fellow Democrats. However, there’s a problem with this process. And one reporter confronted Jeffries about why he — as Minority Leader of the Democrats — refuses to agree to stop the shutdown and THEN come to the table with their GOP compadres to fix the mess Dems have created. Instead of finding a way to stop this madness, Jeffries is claiming it all falls on Republicans, even though the majority of Americans feel Jeffries should stop the shutdown, get back to work, and work out their ideas. • I don’t know about you, but I’m sick of watching and listening to Democrats across the board deny any responsibility at all for the “Schumer Shutdown.” Instead, in unison, they all claim they are responsible for NOTHING! House Minority Leader Jeffries refuses to address the issue that has created the significant divide we see, which prevents the two parties from resolving it. Maybe Speaker Mike Johnson can take a shot at what needs to happen and what SHOULD happen to put people back to work:

  • One Democrat decided he would join a fellow Democrat and confront House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) in the hallway outside his office. That pair of Democrats were unsuccessful in their quest to fluster Johnson. Johnson has had about enough of the continued misrepresentation of how this debacle is structured and who is responsible. So, what did Johnson do to clarify to the public who IS responsible for the shutdown and what Schumer should do? For complete details, click on this link:
  • Many thought Donald Trump was a sure winner of the Nobel Peace Prize. He didn’t win. Before you get upset, you need to know something: the deadline for nominating someone for the Nobel Peace Prize is January of the year it’s being awarded. Trump, though not winning the Nobel, was honored anyway. It seems that the actual winner — María Corina Machado — is a big fan of Donald Trump. No, she didn’t give your Nobel Prize to President Trump. But she did something pretty special. What did she do? For complete details, click on this link:
  • A shocking story was released on Friday. We all remember the name “Dominion Voting Systems.” During the 2020 election and its aftermath, Dominion was “tagged” by numerous Republicans as being a facilitator of voting cheating in ballot counting. In fact, the documentary “2000 Mules” exposed massive irregularities in the software operation itself. The documentary featured live camera segments of multiple individuals late at night carrying large quantities of mail-in voting ballots to be dropped off at sites in Atlanta and Philadelphia. Dominion started filing massive lawsuits against many individuals and companies for reporting details of Dominion’s “alleged” wrongdoing that were not factual. Guess what? Dominion has been purchased by a single individual: a Republican! Details of the sale were leaked on Friday, which, if true, is great news for several individuals and companies facing multimillion-dollar lawsuits from Dominion. What’s going to happen to those folks? For complete details, click on this link:
  • Donald Trump and his actions on the “Schumer Shutdown” have Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer in a pickle. Schumer has always owned the votes of New Yorkers who have given him, first, a seat in the House and then the Senate, where he’s been for fifty years combined! However, Schumer finds himself in a bit of a quandary. He has NEVER voted for a government shutdown. His actions have now led to his support in New York plummeting to an all-time low. What can he do to salvage himself?

  • President Trump is not known for sitting idly by watching an attack on the American people without putting up a massive fight. This Congressional shutdown has awakened the “Orange Man,” who is aggressively creating situations that will indeed destroy many Democrats’ careers while awakening every American who is about to enter a financial hell-whole they didn’t plan for. As usual, the President never lets a controversy go by without seizing it to use for his own benefit. This new weapon, the President has grabbed, has a name: a “RIFF.” What is it and how will it impact Americans? For complete details, click on this link:
  • One of the most contentious actions ever taken by California Governor Gavin Newsom. Newsom joined Los Angeles Mayor Bass to address housing in LA. Newsom decided to sign a bill into law that many lawmakers in his state strongly oppose. In fact, Mayor Bass states she had an agreement with Newsom NOT to let the new law become a law in the first place. Given his reputation as an opportunist, Newsom decided to oppose the new law. And his actions have a majority in Los Angeles screaming for his head! What has Gavin done?
