Make no Mistake: America is at War Part IV

So we ARE at war….internally.  And the media are the priests of Liberalism.   As I mentioned before it started long ago, even before the Clinton Administration.  We just did not know about it.  Remember when the only news we had were our local newspapers, local radio, and national television — ABC, CBS, and NBC?  And all those stories that came from the papers and television were all assumed to be accurate and truthful?  I cannot imagine Walter Cronkite ever telling a lie.  But we had no measuring stick at the time.  We had no way of knowing IF they were not just reporting the news or if they were shading the stories to reflect their liberal tilt.  If I had to vote today I would vote that they were NOT telling “the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.”  I cannot imagine NBC (ESPECIALLY NBC!) ever giving a story to America without a liberal interpretation attached.

What changed?  Rush Limbaugh came to radio.  For the first time in history conservative Americans found the voice of someone who sounded intelligent and was knowledgeable outside of national newspapers and television and actually felt (just like many Americans) that conservative principles were under fire and had been for some time.  Then came the birth of Fox News, and all hell broke loose on a national stage!

The irony of these occurrences is the fundamental rejection of conservative news by establishment national media.  They continue to turn a blind eye to facts:  Fox News is skyrocketing in ratings and credibility among Americans;  Fox News led the national ratings as a cable outlet for total eyeballs on the recent Presidential inauguration;  Fox News is viewed by most Americans as being most accurate and most unbiased in reporting news.  This has happened continuously and the media still embrace their Liberalism.  It seems that this bad news has only emboldened them even pushing them further toward “news lunacy.”  It is comical to watch and listen to them scramble.  In fairness, they have committed to the god of Liberalism and continue their blind march toward totalitarianism ignoring each of the tenets of Journalism.  And their reporting is preposterous.  Facts are lost in the media emotion that controls their narrative to paint the perception of “their” reality to Americans.  And they lie….lie….lie….  There’s no other way to portray it.

Consider the following:

IMMIGRATION

“We agree on the need to better secure the border and punish employers who continue to hire illegal immigrants. We are a generous and welcoming people here in the United States, but those who continue to enter the country illegally and those who employ them disrespect the rule of law, and they are showing disregard for those who are following the law. We simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, unchecked, and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently, and lawfully to become immigrants.” (CSPAN) Barack Obama in 2003

President Bush called for the following in his pursuit of comprehensive immigration reform:

• Doubling the number of border patrol officers by adding 6,000 personnel to their ranks;
• Using the National Guard to beef up patrols along the U.S.-Mexico border without, he promised, “militariz[ing] the southern border;”
• Ending the practice known as “catch and release,” where illegal immigrants were released from custody if their home country refused to take them back.

President Bush’s plan called for the return of every illegal immigrant caught crossing the southwest board “with no exception.” He also called for an increase in border control manpower and technology to keep illegal immigrants out of the U.S. in the first place.

“All Americans, not only in the States most heavily affected but in every place in this country, are rightly disturbed by the large numbers of illegal aliens entering our country. The jobs they hold might otherwise be held by citizens or legal immigrants. The public service they use impose burdens on our taxpayers. That’s why our administration has moved aggressively to secure our borders more by hiring a record number of new border guards, by deporting twice as many criminal aliens as ever before, by cracking down on illegal hiring, by barring welfare benefits to illegal aliens. In the budget I will present to you, we will try to do more to speed the deportation of illegal aliens who are arrested for crimes, to better identify illegal aliens in the workplace as recommended by the commission headed by former Congresswoman Barbara Jordan. We are a nation of immigrants. But we are also a nation of laws. It is wrong and ultimately self-defeating for a nation of immigrants to permit the kind of abuse of our immigration laws we have seen in recent years, and we must do more to stop it.”  President Bill Clinton, State of the Union in 2005

All three presidents had similar thoughts about illegal immigration, at least initially.  But listening to and watching the news one would think that Obama was the only humane president in the last decade and that Bill Clinton was the only one before that.  God help the fascist racist in the White House now, right?  The truth does NOT matter to the Liberal media.  They shape and release their rhetoric in EVERY story to fit the Liberal narrative.  To think otherwise is madness.

FAKE NEWS

Just a couple of examples of how the Media use fake news to further the disruption among us.  Yesterday after the National Security Advisor resigned, Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi held a press conference and said this:  “Scapegoat. Do you know what a scapegoat is?” Pelosi asked. “That means in a community where people want to absolve themselves of guilt, they get a goat, and they heap all of the ills onto the goat, and then they run the goat out of town. So the inference to be drawn from his statement is that other people have blame that should be shared in all of this.”She added, “The good news is that General Flynn is gone.”  She referred to a fake news Tweet that multiple news sources picked up as a real story purported written by General Flynn about his being dumped as the Trump National Security Advisor.  It wasn’t Flynn’s Twitter account….he didn’t Tweet it….he didn’t say it!

The fake news about the Trump Administration started in Day #1 in the White House when Zeke Miller of TIME Magazine tweeted that the Martin Luther King, Jr. bust had been removed from the Oval office before Trump moved in.  It was pure fake news.  And as you know the fake news dam opened as the Liberal priests have launched an all out attack to de-legitimize the

Trump presidency.  And in their narrative the truth does not matter, facts are insignificant, no conservative is safe, and anything goes.  Discredited longtime CBS news anchor Dan Rather tweeted this about the revelation of former National Security Advisor General Flynn’s actions that resulted in his resignation:  “Watergate is the biggest political scandal of my lifetime, until maybe now.”  Is that conversation with the Russian Ambassador that big a deal?  The Justice Department and FBI stated there was nothing illegal about that conversation.

NY TIMES columnist Tom Friedman stated this about the Trump election tied together to the Flynn resignation and the Russian tie allegations:  “Ladies and gentlemen, we were attacked on Dec. 7, 1941, we were attacked on Sept. 11, 2001, and we were attacked on Nov. 8, 2016,” he said.  He stated subsequently that the recent revelations are as devastating to the Nation as those two attacks that cost over 6,000 deaths to Americans.  Really?
