Do Leftist Journalists Coordinate Stories? If so, How?

I know you’ve wondered how it “just happens” that journalists — newspaper, magazine, television, radio, and internet — give the same stories on the same day from the same liberal perspective? Those journalists would like for Americans — especially those who classify themselves as “liberals, progressives, or Leftists” — to believe what they report that has been coordinated with others of similar ilk is because what they say is the truth. So why should they NOT say the same things?

It IS coordinated. And the truth has nothing to do with it. And they make NO attempts at all to disguise it. Have you not noticed that anytime anything politically controversial that comes from Donald Trump is in their reports, they often all use one word in their reports? Watch or listen to this:

Those are not controversial stories about Donald Trump or other conservatives, but this is an example of what we see and hear all the time: repeat, repeat, repeat, and repeat again to diminish the mental capabilities of their audience members.

Have you ever heard of “JournoList?”

JournoList (sometimes referred to as the J-Listwas a private Google Groups forum — a private chat room — for discussing politics. The private members with whom they shared such tidbits were 400 “left-leaning” journalists, academics, and others. Ezra Klein created the online forum in February, 2007, while blogging at The American Prospect and shut it down on June 25, 2010, amid wider public exposure. Journalists later pointed out various off-color statements made by members of the list denigrating conservatives, as well as a seeming conspiracy to prop up Barack Obama. Others defended such comments as being taken out of context or simply a matter of private candor.

Politico outed the J-List in a story that blasted the super-secret group of liberal journalists who felt it necessary to not only share thoughts and ideas, but very obviously to coordinate not just stories, but actual verbiage used within those stories.

Is their an “heir to JournoList? It was followed by a similar web chat room called “Cabalist.” We only know about its creation, method of communication, and that it is a private chat entity. Those involved learned from J-List that Americans frowned upon a journalist-only chat-room used to secretly interface with each other and to keep hidden their conspiracy to “fix” the news for all Americans.

With no certainty and with the only an assumption, I assume this: If Cabalist is no longer in operation, there is some method for them to regularly access each others’ story sources and discuss who, what, and when stories would be released. It’s impossible that with regularity, we see political stories that say the same things often with the same words or phrases, and that are 100% negatively slanted toward the “political conservative of the day” and NOT believe leftist news journalists coordinate stories.

During the Impeachment trial, a Media Research Center study of broadcast evening news coverage of the opening arguments of both sides, found ABC, CBS, and NBC did not live up to the standard they demanded of Republicans. They gave Democrats double the airtime and showered their arguments with mostly praise, while expressing only criticism of the President’s legal team during the Impeachment trial of President Trump.

Between Wednesday, January 22, when Democratic House impeachment managers launched their opening arguments, and Tuesday, January 28, when the President’s defense team rested, evening newscast reporters and anchors made a total of 34 evaluative statements about the merits and effectiveness of both sides.

Democratic impeachment managers received a total of 21 evaluative statements from ABC, CBS, and NBC journalists. Of that total, 95 percent of those (20) touted their efforts and presentations, which means only one of their evaluative comments were negative. ABC’s World News Tonight had eight positive comments, CBS Evening News had five, and NBC Nightly News seven. NBC had the lone negative comment.

In stark contrast, every evaluative statement from reporters and anchors about the merits and effectiveness of Trump’s Defense Team were negative. Of the 13 total statements, ABC and CBS each had five with NBC pitching in with three.

We won’t give you the breakdown of network bias in coverage for each day of the trial, but let’s look at just Day One:

That day, the networks covered the Democratic managers for almost 25 minutes (24:57). That’s compared to the 11 minutes and 34 seconds they gave to President Trump’s Defense Team. The most wildly imbalanced was CBS Evening News, which gave seven minutes, 42 seconds for Democrats and skimped on Trump’s team with two minutes and 26 seconds.

ABC gave Democrats the most time at nine minutes, 25 seconds. Contrast that with the five minutes and 21 seconds they gave the Trump team. NBC allocated seven minutes, 50 seconds for Democrats, while giving three minutes, 47 seconds to the defense.

With the liberal media’s demand that Republicans be impartial in hearing the impeachment case, it was clearly more of a “do as I say, not as I do” suggestion.

Summary

It’s Monday, the day for both sides to make their closing arguments in the trial. Americans starting on Thursday began to hear the chorus of excuses given through the weekend in all Mainstream Media outlets and parroted by Democrats of every political group or organization: “Trump is not being acquitted. You must have a trial for there to be an acquittal. You cannot have a trial without witnesses. There were no witnesses, so Mr. Trump was NOT acquitted.”

That talking point was orchestrated and rolled out through the media to the people by House Speaker Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

I don’t yet know what the format will be for closing statements. But it’s a sure bet whichever of the House Managers gives a closing will NOT stray from that Pelosi-Schumer talking point. And it will be the talking point used by every Democrat member of the Congress or on the campaign trail through the 2020 election.

Every TruthNewsNetwork member knows my animus for today’s faux journalists. The reporting seen and heard at every level of media has devolved into being little more than a supermarket check-out gossip rag story excerpt. Few are the legitimate and honest news outlets that report the news without spin, the personal perspective of the journalist, and that does not talk down to their audience members demeaning the intelligence of those looking-in or listening.

Even if these 2020 news representatives do NOT coordinate their stories and narratives, they release their “news” in time cycles so that whichever comes second, third, and after that in story releases all use the first story as a template for the “negative Trump story-of-the-day.” There is no mathematical formula that supports the unity in story content we see and hear. It’s all coordinated, and all devised to fit the Leftist, Socialist anti-Trump narrative.

The reason for this tool of Leftists in the Media: “Create and share a falsehood that feeds the liberal perspective that fits whatever story is being disseminated and then repeat it, repeat it, repeat it again and again… Their default perspective of those who see or hear their reporting about conservatives in government and conservative ideas is that Trump supporters are ignorant, uneducated, boobs, that are easily tricked because of their inherent lack of perception and intelligence.
