We had another fact-filled week: the last week in December of the year 2023. Usually, at year-end, news on the national and international platforms quietens a bit. That’s not so in this year. On every major front that impacts most American citizens, there were impactful events that riveted the attention of every American. From upcoming election issues to southern border policy decisions quietly floated by the Biden Administration, things were “hot” across the U.S.
This is our last “Saturday Bullet Point” offering of the year. We want to thank you for being part of the TruthNewsNetwork Family. 2023 was a hard year that kept Americans asking questions year long. Many, if not most, of those questions remain unanswered. We’re hoping we’ll get those answers soon. When that happens, we’ll be on top of them all at TNN.

- Still, another Secretary of State — Shenna Bellows of Maine — has decided that she has the sole power to determine who should be allowed to be part of her state’s 2024 election. Thursday night, Bellows announced she had arbitrarily kicked Donald Trump from Maine’s election. Her decision comes in the shadow of the Colorado Supreme Court’s determination to do the same thing. Colorado’s case has already been appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court. Maine’s will also. However, a Michigan case was earlier this week ruled unlawful, stating that doing so would “prevent the voters of Michigan from voting for their choice for the U.S. Presidency. - Ohio Governor Dewine waited until the last day to give us his decision on the sex change for minors bill that passed the Ohio legislature with a huge majority. The Republican governor, surprising many, decided NOT to sign the bill into law. The bill also included a section that required athletes in Ohio who participate in sports to participate only as their biological gender. Dewine did not address that in his Friday press conference. - As the calendar turns to another year, the 2024 election appears to be headed for some major changes. No doubt the nation’s political structure has changed drastically under President Biden. Americans are more divided politically than ever. President Biden’s home state voted for him with an 80,000 margin of victory over Donald Trump in 2020. Voter registrations during the Biden presidency have moved in dramatic fashion from the Democrat to the Republican Party in Pennsylvania. - Biden Administration top leaders met with the President of Mexico supposedly to discuss initiating a “group effort” to normalize illegal immigration that’s flooding the U.S. The Biden group was led by Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. Reportedly, the group agreed to reopen the border crossings to allow the transportation of goods and services to resume normality moving both ways. However, it was quietly leaked that they discussed creating a plan for amnesty for illegals coming into the U.S:
- Shocking news coming out of the U.S. today regarding an American who tried to journey to Somalia to join the jihadist terrorist group al Shabaab. Karrem Nasr, 23, was extradited to the US on terrorism charges on Thursday, accused of attempting to join the terrorist organization at a training camp. - We all know by now that Maine’s Secretary of State unilaterally removed former President Trump from the 2024 Presidential election ballot. As has happened in other states when similar actions were taken by election officials, some of the state legislators have blasted the actions taken by these Secretaries of State. Three Maine lawbreakers have incensed at the actions taken by Maine’s Secretary. But there’s an unbelievable story about those lawmakers that has to do with one of the impeachment votes in the U.S. Senate in an attempt to remove Trump from office. - The U.S. Supreme Court Justices are being dragged into an issue most of them would prefer not to be involved. It’s virtually certain the SCOTUS will soon see an appeal from both Colorado and Maine for Trump’s removal from the primary ballot for the 2024 presidential election. The Court has always disdained getting involved in political matters. Who can forget that anger that resulted from a 5-4 decision regarding those “hanging chads” that put George W. Bush in the White House in 2000? However, what’s happening now with these ridiculous attempts to prevent millions of voters from even considering former President Donald Trump in his 2024 bid to return to the White House will most certainly end up for the Court to make a decision. - At the end of each calendar year, Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky) publishes what’s called his “Festivus Report.” The report details many of the most egregious and wasteful spending of federal taxpayer dollars across the nation. Which made the Festivus Report this year?
- Most Americans are shocked at the expenses of billions of taxpayer dollars to fund every part of Biden’s illegal alien criminality in purposely flooding the nation with tens of millions of non-citizens. It’s not just federal tax dollars at stake at our southern border; Biden’s policies are costing residents of states across the nation massive amounts of money as well.
