Primary election week! And the news is massive and scary. We’ll give you the latest on the elections where counting has not been completed, along with the biggest stories of those that have been completed. However, the most talked-about conundrum is what happened in California.
Of course, there were more elections than just those in California. Also, many important stories were missed because of all the coverage of the primary election results. We’ll grab the most important of those and put them in our Bullet Points.
Let’s Go!
Bullet Points
- There are many isolated stories from California about elections. Let’s begin with the first report of “election interference,” which will be the first of many stories about “irregular” ballot counting and probably some evidence of illegal measures. Here are the first couple of those.
- Larry Elder, who ran for Governor in California, points out many of the outrageous circumstances that keep popping up, illustrating how poorly CA’s election system is operated. Are these weird processes used to facilitate election fraud?
- Millions of Americans — many who are Californians — are exasperated to hear the many examples of voter “irregularity,” vote casting “mistakes,” and stories of outright voter fraud. At the bottom of those questions and answers is one common name: Governor Gavin Newsom.
One of those most likely to be affected by voter fraud — if it actually exists — is Steve Hilton. As of the writing of this story, he is leading the ballot count in the race for governor. Hilton has very little trust for California’s election system. Why is he so adamant about that? It’s because of Governor Gavin Newsom.
- Believe it or not, there were important issues for us to know about other than elections. Congress was actually busy in D.C. Besides some critical legislation passed, one House member in a committee hearing fell to pieces in a House hearing with Acting Attorney General Blanche. She lost her mind!
- In the wee hours of Friday morning, believe it or not, the Senate passed a bill to fully fund the Department of Homeland Security for the next three years. And there were NONE of the Democrats’ crazy restrictions included in the bill!
- Let’s shift topics for a bit. Have you wondered, as many have, how Iran’s leadership can still be so positive in their negotiations with the World’s best negotiator, President Donald Trump?
- Friday evening, Iran launched a one-way drone attack against ships in the Strait of Hormuz. Though the blockade is still in place, Iran continues to “test” the tempers of the U.S. and its allies in this operation.
- Many so-called military experts are convinced that the war with Iran is about to end. They’re basing that on the fact that President Trump suddenly paused all fighting. The President has not given any reason for doing so, but there is some reasoning that has much to do with our allies in the Middle East. It’s NOT because U.S. leadership is afraid!
- The Republican Party failed to pass President Trump’s most important pieces of legislation of either of his presidential terms. This is the legislation that would require every voter to prove they are U.S. citizens — a requirement in the Constitution — and to show proof of identity before voting. Just four Senators voted no to kill the bill, at least for now.
