Saturday Bullet Points: June 8, 2024

As we get ever closer to November 5 and our election, it is critical that we all stay on top of the REAL news: what’s valid and important and what’s false; therefore, is necessary to delete. There’s so much drivel splashed across our media at every level, it’s tough to determine the truthful. That’s why we publish our “Bullet Points” every Saturday.

In each bullet point we give you a few descriptive sentences detailing an important news story from the current week. If, after reading those sentences, you don’t need any details, click on the next bullet point. If you want more details, click on the blue arrow for a linked complete story.

It’s fairly simple, but it’s a good way to stay informed about the “important” news.

Let’s get started.

Bullet Points

  • It comes as no surprise that there really were some shenanigans going on in the “Hush Money” Trump trial and his conviction on 34 felonies. Surprisingly, it appears that some folks on the “inside” knew at least a day before the jury determined their guilty verdict that jurors in the jury chambers had already decided they were returning a guilty verdict! And one of the juror’s cousins announced it on Facebook! For complete details, click on this link:
  • I’m sure every TruthNewsNetwork fan is a steady viewer of the ladies on The View. (I apologize if that insulted you) The show’s been around for a while, with the so-called “co-hosts” being from the far-left political spectrum. Oh, Meghan McCain was a token Conservative host for a while. After her departure, the show brought in several potential replacements. But it’s time for Whoopi and Company to name a permanent target for their leftist insults. And it’s a former Donald Trump employee! Who? For complete details, click on this link:
  • I am a longtime fan of actress Jennifer Garner. I didn’t like it when her former husband, Ben Affleck, debated with whom he would choose to make (and keep) the “big” marriage commitment. He tried it with Jennifer for a while. Then, he was taken in by Jennifer Lopez. In fact, that happened at least twice! It seemed that Ben finally decided to do life with Lopez and it appeared to be forever…until now. It ain’t looking too good. With the rumors swirling, Jennifer Lopez weighed in on Ben’s pending divorce by posting a sweet poem. And she didn’t add to the poem. It’s very appropriate, though. • Will we ever know the true costs of COVID-19, all the vaccines and questionable treatments, and the myriad of so-called experts’ advice on what to do, what not to do, what to eat and drink, and what not to? And then there were the vaccines. One famous oncologist recently presented information claiming that new and very rare cancers among young people are likely to be directly caused by COVID-19. (I wonder what Fauci will say?) For complete details, click on this link:
  • It was just a matter of time before the consternation between Palestinians and Israelis would find its way into the United States and in courtrooms around the country. This week, the controversy forced a powerful action in one of the nation’s top Courts. A judge on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco has recused himself from a case involving Palestinian issues. He did so after he and a group of other judges took a trip to Israel. What’s this all about? For complete details, click on this link:
  • This presidential election cycle is full of daily controversy. And it’s more than any other election cycle I can remember. What is the meaning of this? There are so many issues of so many different kinds that it’s impossible to keep up with everything. But one thing is certain in today’s election conversation than in almost any other before: more controversial polls. Almost every day, some new poll shows up with “shocking new polling results.” However, in the past several months, the consensus of polls covering the presidential race between Trump and Biden has in the swing state of Arizona has steadily headed in one direction. And Democrats are VERY concerned. What poll is it, and what are the latest results? For complete details, click on this link:
  • The balance of power in the United States Congress may be more important now than ever before. While the GOP holds the slimmest majority in the U.S. House of Representatives, Democrats have a slightly larger majority in the U.S. Senate. The war for each party to hold their majority is critical. However, many experts feel there could be a possibility for one party to control both Houses. And that party has decided to throw seven-figure dollars into one Senate race in a major campaign in a critical swing state. Which state and which candidates are involved in this? For complete details, click on this link:
  • The U.S. Supreme Court has never been under the scrutiny the Court is receiving today — at least the Conservative justices. The deep divide in the Court regarding abortion is evident to all. But Democrats in the Senate are working hard to force several justices on the Court to undergo Senate hearings to explain to these oversight lawmakers the basis for their actions and decisions on hot topic issues. No Justice is watched closer and Justice Clarence Thomas. Now, in a normal expense report, Thomas disclosed a couple of recent trips with a longtime friend and billionaire GOP donor that has put the Democrats’ bullseye on Thomas once more:

  • We’ve together watched the journey across the nation from California and other liberal states to conservative states that have drastically lower taxes — some without any states at all, better schools, easier living conditions, lower crime, and less political angst among the populace of each. The top choices for these to move to have been Tennessee, Texas, and Florida. Florida has been the leading site for these red-state migrants — until now! Since the elimination of the COVID lockdowns, Florida has been THE place to relocate to. According to relocation experts, there are a couple of new locations that are taking Florida’s migrants away. • Sam Bankman-Freid may have lost his spot at the top of the “Crypto Currency Billionaire fraudsters.” A new billion-dollar cryptocurrency fraud that happened through a church in New York has come to light. And it happened “in the name of God.” Sadly, it began with the leaders in a large church that was largely attended by Haitian immigrants. These Indigenous people were led into the crypto world with promises of a massive two-year windfall by a pastor self-named “Reverend CEO.” Needless to say, it was exposed as a massive Ponzi scheme. The perpetrators fled to Panama, leaving New York Attorney General Letitia James to go after the perpetrators. For complete details, click on this link:
  • I couldn’t help but finish this edition of “Saturday Bullet Points” without some information “from the horse’s mouth” about the Southern Border immigration debacle perpetrated by President Biden and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) confronted Mayorkas like no lawmaker I have seen before trying to pin the Secretary down to specifics about several border immigration issues. Here’s the one segment of that House hearing that will blow your mind. (You might need to get a barf-bag before you watch this!)
