Saturday Bullet Points: May 2, 2026

It seems that every week is full of important events, unlike in recent years. There are major events in every level of our lives in more than just a few places. Formerly, the big news was principally in government events. Today, however, they pop up daily in every part of our lives. That makes it tough for us to grab the “most” important of them all to make certain you don’t miss a thing.

So let’s go! Let’s take a look at this week’s “biggies!”

Make sure you watch the last video. Why? You’ll know when you see it.

Bullet Points

  • Whatever happened to that secret city that was quietly planned and put together in the northern suburbs of Dallas, Texas? If you missed out, it was a 500-acre plan to build a Muslim community that catered in every way to Islamists. That seems a benign concept. However, the plan was for it to be a separate entity that did NOT operate under Texas or U.S. Law. It was planned to be Sharia-governed. When details were spread, the government stepped in and stopped it. Many ask now, “Did it go away?” Guess what: it didn’t!
  • The Supreme Court’s finding this week regarding the gerrymandering of Congressional election districts was specific to one case: a Louisiana case. However, numerous states have prepared citizens to brace for more of the same nationwide. The latest is Alabama!
  • No nighttime late show has been more controversial than Jimmy Kimmel. He has recently “accidentally” laughed at President Trump and First Lady Melania about the latest assassination attempt of the President. In that conundrum, ABC Executives have PULLED PROMOS For Jimmy Kimmel’s Show. What’s up with that?

  • Former Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino appeared on the new “personal” podcast of Sean Hannity. The pair discussed a sinister “burn bag” left at FBI Headquarters that contained a 100-page document intended for Bongino and FBI Director Kash Patel. Bongino says he fears retaliation after finding ‘mother lode’ of Crossfire Hurricane docs at FBI.
  • If we asked, “Who’s the least-like member of ‘The Five,’ FOX News afternoon show, one name comes up: Jessica Tarlove.” Jessica Tarlov defends billionaires and says ‘really rich dudes’ are critical to the success of Mayor Mamdani and NYC:
  • You probably heard that federal authorities blanketed Minneapolis this week to investigate reports of numerous alleged fraud cases involving dozens who had duped the Federal Government out of hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars. One such case made the news when the owner of an autism center raided by the feds was tied to another business billing Minnesota Medicaid!

  • News that has accompanied the U.S. “conflict” with Iran, which is now 60 days old, has brought the focus to its cost. At this point, we have no exact number of its cost so far. However, that number has got to be staggering. How much longer will it last? Nobody knows for certain. With that continuing, we’ve learned that the Pentagon has secured AI Agreements with seven major Tech Companies for what: “Classified Military Operations!”
  • It was sure to happen: Democrats in Congress are past the “squirming” mode and are now going all in for the “finger-pointing” at everyone who is playing roles in this conflict. No member of the Trump Administration or of the GOP is exempt, either. After all, it’s an election year! Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) claimed that Secretary of War Pete Hegseth had committed war crimes! Of course, he didn’t mention any specific examples of his labeling of Hegseth as a criminal, but he pointed out how, in previous U.S. wars, such war leaders who committed war crimes were executed!
  • I’m sure you gave some attention to the vast number of schoolteachers from across the nation who skipped school on Friday: “May Day.” It was a very purposeful, structured, and well-organized event that was also well-funded. The exact costs and who paid for it are not completely certain. But, the usual Democrat funders of such events are known to have antied up more than a billion dollars. Here are some of the details:

  • As the Iran conflict has shown, it is not yet complete, raising concerns about possible changes Iran may implement. How Iran’s “hybrid war” may go digital despite the ceasefire still in place. That was a shocking notification. I, for one, had no idea the Iranians were capable of switching off their massive, ancient arts in favor of possibly using 21st-century methods. What might that look like?
  • In a hearing this week, Congressman Gill questioned an abortion activist to find out what her “favored” method of abortion was. (Before that hearing, I didn’t know there was a menu for patients to choose an abortion!) I saved this video for last. Why? Watch it…you’ll understand!
