Saturday Bullet Points: May 20, 2023

Just when you feel it’s safe to go back in the water, Jaws is waiting! That “Jaws” music and the horror show “Halloween” soundtrack are probably the most recognizable horror movie themes ever. When we hear them, we know something bad’s about to happen.

I wonder if some creative music writer has written a theme for the horror show “Uncle Joe.” It would certainly be appropriate.

President Biden this week added to his chain of presidential actions, which have NO ties to reality. I guess his latest “takes the cake:” Through executive order, Biden has mandated every military vehicle run with battery power only by the end of this decade. Think about that for a moment. Can you imagine a tank in the throws of a battle sending a message to its enemy counterpart saying, “We call a temporary truce. Let’s go back to war in two hours. We must recharge our batteries!

Imaginations of the circumstances that would automatically accompany such a stupid executive fiat are abundant. Several of the most obvious and most ridiculous are setting up solar panel buoys in strategic locations in each ocean. An Aircraft Carrier Captain must take 8 hours out of battle to tie to the buoy to recharge.

And there’s the most obvious: How long would an electrical cord have to be to fly a fighter jet from Southern California to Pearl Harbor in Hawaii?

Don’t worry about any of this, though. Why? Because he’s, “JOE BIDEN!”

Yes, it was another nutty week in Biden World. Though we’ve computed who the sources must be for the insanity he spewed during the week, Americans can not yet reconcile a U.S. President– ANY U.S. President — with so many policies and policy choices that are each insane. Oh well, let’s look at the week.

Bullet Points

  • Democrats understand the President has whiffed at the job of negotiating with GOP leaders regarding a necessary debt limit increase. Daily, more Dems reach the conclusion that regular order legislation at this late date is NOT going to happen. What do they do? Whatever they end with, they must make it appear that Republicans held up the process and are hellbent on pushing the nation into financial default. As of Friday, it’s reported that 210 House Democrats have agreed for Biden to use the 14th Amendment so he can bypass Congress “again” and unilaterally give himself a blank check. And Dems are rallying while going crazy over this latest Biden failure. For complete details, click on this link:
  • The House Weaponization investigations into the FBI revealed startling facts that make the years-old fears of many conservatives a reality. Multiple former FBI agents filed for Whistleblower protection — a federal law — that gave these agents a comfort level of safety sufficient to quell any fears of retaliation. That didn’t happen. In fact, the FBI brazenly launched an all-out war on these agents with NO regard for their unlawful actions. Just a day or two before the hearings this week, the FBI terminated the security clearance of each of these agents — an obvious intent to stifle the content of their testimony. By the way, those 51 former intelligence experts who signed that “affidavit” declaring the status of a “Russian disinformation action” called the “Hunter Biden laptop” each retained their security clearance even after the illegal actions taken by each. • Tucker Carlson’s railroad by his former bosses at FOX News takes on new life daily. The latest “leaked” information is that Tucker Carlson’s legal team is threatening actions against FOX News for “breach of contract.” We don’t know the details of Carlson’s contract. Certainly, it’s a hefty agreement that doesn’t terminate until December 2024- just days after the election! A FOX News attorney’s phone call is at the center of the alleged breach of contract. Why don’t both parties go their separate ways recognizing they are no longer compatible? Why? “Follow the Money.” For complete details, click on this link:
  • Whoever the guilty party who lit the fires of reparations started an inferno that may never be extinguished! I’m stuck on one point I cannot get past: they expect me — a white man — to acknowledge my culpability for slavery. I — who never owned a slave — must pay massive dollars in reparations to someone who was never a slave. Something in this entire process rings pretty hollowly to me. After thinking this through, I can see a scenario when a couple of hardcore leftists committed to keeping the racial strife roaring, hiding in the bushes, and giggling about this false premise they’ve sold to the African American community. Nobody is going to get a dime! The money doesn’t work because there’s no capability to pay reparations and no way to determine who should and should not receive any. • There’s good news for most conservatives revealed on Friday. South Carolina Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) IS going to throw his hat into the ring in a bid for President. And he’s going to make a big splash with his announcement. His campaign is reportedly spending $6 million in New Hampshire to kick its campaign off in high fashion. It will be interesting — and maybe comical — to watch Democrats’ heads spin while spewing vomit because of their hatred for Scott. He’s one of the gentlest lawmakers I’ve ever seen. He’s calm and collected and is genuine in every way. “Normal” folks would applaud the African American Senator for his willingness to step out to lead not just his state but the nation. Every presidential candidate does that in some way. But Scott’s being a black conservative is the kiss of death. In fairness, Democrats should applaud Scott for running, but they won’t. They think it’s a mortal sin for any black person to be a conservative! For complete details, click on this link:
  • It’s been one shocking event after another that’s happened inside our nearly defunct military bureaucracy. Many of those scary revelations are only discovered when someone from curiosity begins to ask some questions. After Biden’s shocking and sudden withdrawal from Afghanistan, in which he left billions of dollars of military equipment and weapons behind, we now learn our Missile Defense Agency could only conduct about half the planned tests of our missile and adjacent hardware during 2022. And the results of those limited tests were egregious and revealing. And the revelations are NOT good. What’s happening in the Sec. of Defense Lloyd Austin’s U.S. Military? • Anytime a sitting governor of any state — especially one who is running for President — fails to get local, and state officials elected, it’s a bad sign of things to come. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is expected to announce his White House bid next week formally. DeSantis, who has had a terrific run in Florida, achieving amazing results, is in a war with Disney. And it seems to be a losing battle. What makes things worse is that DeSantis failed miserably in the mayoral race for Jacksonville, Florida, getting his pick elected. In fact, DeSantis’s picks lost both to Donald Trump-endorsed candidates and even to a Democrat. For complete details, click on this link:
  • After two hundred years of being one the World’s safest places to visit for foreigners, the word is out: “Don’t go to the United States. It’s too dangerous!” It’s hard to disagree with that analysis. By definition of “mass shooting,” more than 200 such attacks have occurred in the U.S. so far this year. With The World Cup is coming to the U.S. in 2026, foreign officials are warning their citizens NOT to come to the U.S. It’s too dangerous! For complete details, click on this link:
  • The saddest tragedy — at least so far — happened to Prince Harry and his bride this week. It was reported that the paparazzi chased the couple all through Manhattan as the pair endeavored to get away. An initial report stated there was a car accident — a serious car accident. The problem was that it was the pair reporting the accident. There was NO law enforcement or even media support for the Royal Couple’s yarn. Isn’t it tragic that Harry felt compelled to draw attention to his fake accident when a similar event took the life of his mother? For complete details, click on this link:
  • In a Congressional hearing on Friday, Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) questioned an abortion advocate about her thoughts on under what circumstances justify an abortion. The evasive answers to Johnson’s questions are revealing while very troubling. Take a look:
