Full Disclosure Underway

Do you remember when, at the very beginning of Trump’s 2016 campaign, he began talking about the “Swamp” of D.C.? He then morphed that into the need to “Drain the Swamp,” and he promised he was the guy that not only COULD do that but WOULD do that if Americans elected him President. Many laughed and derided the crazy billionaire from Queens. They told us he was little more than a spoiled rotten rich kid whose Daddy put him in business. They laughed at his success in the NBC hit reality show, “The Apprentice.” “Donald Trump is nothing but a narcissistic blowhard who thinks he can weasel his way into national politics!”

They were almost right — almost!

Here we are, four years later, after the “Blowhard” from Queens set the establishments of both major political parties on their cans. In comparison, they looked on in disbelief as he became the only presidential candidate in 80-or-so years to accomplish ALL (or at least as much as could be done without Congressional support) of his publicly stated objectives for the nation in his “first” four years. Regardless of what the Trump-haters in each of those political parties and the self-appointed purveyors of truth in news reporting say, he accomplished it all!

So why today, in the wake of the most corrupt national election in U.S. history, are almost all of these politicians  fighting so hard to kick this guy out of office? If he successfully fulfilled average Americans’ expectations for an elected president based on his campaign promises, why are these politicians and their supporters dead-set on his removal? Why do they so many reject the mountains of evidence in plain sight of election cheating and still maintain that Trump’s demands of a stolen election are based on no facts and certainly no evidence?

I don’t have all the answers. But I DO have a few. Let’s examine a few of the “Swamp Critters” attacks on Mr. Trump.

“Swampsters” Against Trump

Mitt Romney was the governor of Massachusetts, then the “savior” of the Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah, and then decided he wanted to be President. In 2012 he ran a losing campaign against Barack Obama, who beat Romney to serve a second term in the White House.

Mitt Romney

Romney left politics for a while but turned up back in Utah and won a U.S. Senate seat. He ran as a Republican but soon showed his anti-Trump stance as he showed the world what a real GOP “Swamper” looks like. Romney is anything but conservative. Many Utah citizens reportedly would like to change their vote from that Senatorial election.

Romney despises Trump. Why? At least in part, it resulted from the fact that Mitt famously (and very publicly) pleaded for the Secretary of State job from Trump. Trump passed over the RINO. Mitt immediately began acting like a jilted lover. He’s attacked Trump at every turn and was the only Republican in either the House or the Senate to vote to impeach President Trump and remove him from office.

In the aftermath of the November election in which voting irregularity, voter fraud, AND “vote” fraud were revealed, President Trump mounted an attack on the actual fraud committed in at least the swing states of Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada, and his campaign along with several others not officially part of his campaign filed numerous state and federal cases to prove the fraud. Mitt and others who ran for office as conservatives in the Republican Party were hesitant to support the President in his pursuit of the truth in this election. Still, several have done more than be just “hesitant.” They have launched attacks at Mr. Trump and others in office who have come out in support of President Trump. Romney’s began three days after the election:

“He is wrong to say that the election was rigged, corrupt, and stolen,” Romney said on Twitter and Facebook on Friday morning, November 6. “Doing so damages the cause of freedom here and around the world, weakens institutions that lie at the foundation of the Republic, and recklessly inflames destructive and dangerous passions.”

But he wasn’t finished. Republican Sen. Mitt Romney (Utah), late on November 20th, blasted President Trump’s attempt to pressure Republican officials to reverse the election results, describing it as among the most “undemocratic” actions ever taken by a sitting president.

“Having failed to make even a plausible case of widespread fraud or conspiracy before any court of law, the President has now resorted to overt pressure on state and local officials to subvert the will of the people and overturn the election,” the senator from Utah and frequent Trump critic said in a statement posted to Twitter. “It is difficult to imagine a worse, more undemocratic action by a sitting American President.”

Sunday, December 27th, Romney took still another shot and this time included Trump supporters:

“I don’t think Trumpism is going away, but I hope that we can have disagreements over policy and a vision of our respective parties without continuing to promote a narrative that puts democracy itself in jeopardy. And when you tell people that voting doesn’t work and that democracy can’t work because we don’t have legitimate elections, that is a perilous thing to be saying.”

The “Turtle”

Mitch McConnell

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has long been suspected of being a RINO: “Republican in Name Only.” He’s pretty much confirmed he is precisely that in the 2020 election aftermath, especially in regards to leadership in the fight to make sure our elections are “fair and free.” With the piles of mounting evidence that clearly show a fraudulent election happened. McConnell only at first gave any hint of support of investigating those guilty of election interference. Progressively he has quietly slipped into the “Swamp-Tank” with other RINOs. He was the first Republican Party leader to call Joe Biden “President-Elect Joe Biden,” signaling his willingness to throw in the towel.

To further blur the process between November 3rd and January 20th, Mitch quickly chastised several Congress members who have voiced their willingness to stand in the joint session of Congress on January 6th and challenge the “official” electoral vote totals as they are read. If two in the Senate and two in the House do that, it will force the House and Senate to separate and debate those objections for a period of two hours and then vote to determine who is President.

Herein lies the rub for Mitch: If that happens, the House votes for President, and the Senate votes for Vice President. Such a vote is not tallied based on the states’ electors in the electoral college. Each state gets only one vote. That would mean that there are 30+ states who have Republican-controlled legislatures, each with one vote. Trump would win in that scenario. In the Senate, votes for Vice President would be expected to come down the same way. In case of a tie in the Senate, the Senate’s President would cast the deciding vote. Vice President Mike Pence serves in that role and would, therefore, with his vote, confirm himself VP!

The “Turncoats”

It’s been humorous the last week or so to see that, almost daily, one new Republican stands up and declares they are against the continued investigations and court challenges of the election results. And each seems to have adopted one talking point as if it was coordinated: “President Trump, without evidence, continues to claim massive election fraud in November 3rd’s election and he must stop!”

Adam Kinzinger

The latest was Congressman Adam Kinzinger. Illinois Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger accused President Donald Trump and fellow GOP representatives who seek to challenge the Electoral College vote on January 6. There “wrongdoing? Participating in an “utter scam” meant to “raise money and gain followers.”

“All this talk about Jan 6th from@realDonaldTrump and other congressional grifters is simply explained: they will raise money and gain followers by blaming everyone else knowing full well they can’t do anything. It’s sad, and an utter scam,” Kinzinger tweeted Saturday.

Shockingly, Kinzinger would take such an approach. He long has been an ardent Trump supporter. But many have noticed his move toward Mainstream GOP ideals and hanging with the RINOs, so it wasn’t unexpected he might pick up the “Dump Trump” call.

   Pat Toomey

Also not too surprising was the decision made by Pennsylvania Republican Senator Pat Toomey, who in late November advised the President to stop the election challenges so the nation could “move on.”

Pennsylvania Republican Sen. Pat Toomey issued a statement Saturday night declaring that Donald Trump has “exhausted all plausible legal” challenges to the presidential election and that it’s time for him to concede and “facilitate” the transition process.

Toomey issued a harsh statement Saturday as U.S. District Court Judge Matthew W. Brann rejected the latest lawsuit from the Trump campaign seeking to rescind votes cast in the state. Brann called out Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani for attempting to “disenfranchise almost 7 million voters” without justification or evidence.

Toomey was not the only Republican, as we stated above, who chose to publicly “advise” the President to give up the senseless election wrongdoing attacks using the term “without justification or evidence.”

  • Senate Majority Whip John Thune (SD)

Summary

So what’s going on here? There’s no doubt that some of these are “activist” Republicans who signed-on to the never-changing Republican mantra for all party members: “Never do anything that will cause Democrats — when they regain power in the government — to turn on us and diminish the cush committee jobs we have while attacking us in Congress. We want to ‘maintain the status quo’ while showing our voters with occasional legislative victories that we’re pushing hard for the Conservative cause.”

It’s ONLY about power in Washington. And in Congress, it’s ONLY about maintaining a balance of power that though changes slightly through the years, never really gives one party massive control.

But this GOP crew never expected what they are facing in all the uproar: they have understated the power of Trump populism!

There is a groundswell of support of President Trump because of what he “DID” and not just because of what he “SAID” he would do. And he accomplished so many things that benefited ALL Americans, Trump supporters are unwilling to let his, the first administration in their lifetimes, be undone by obvious voter fraud that will award power to the purveyors of Socialism. Socialism is what these conservative Americans rejected in electing Trump.

The political class in Washington HATE populism. Why is that? In such a system, People are in control! Members of the D.C. Swamp basked in almost unfettered power for far too long. MAGA Americans refuse to have that ripped from their lives at all, but especially not through illegal and fraudulent voting results.

The Solution?

Know this: these conservative Americans are NOT going to just shut up and let this ruse play out. There’s only one peaceful and realistic way to move through this without ripping the nation apart: a massive and transparent investigation into all the obvious (and other hidden) cheating that happened in the election.

“There’s no hard evidence of widespread election fraud!” That’s what we’re told. But that is far from proven.

In closing: If Joe Biden and his pack along with Democrat Party leaders and Republican Party leaders are so certain there was no election fraud, they should join hands across the aisle and demand and facilitate a quick, intense, transparent, and thorough investigation into the November 3rd election to PROVE TO AMERICANS THERE WAS NO FRAUD!

What is there to lose? If Biden won and facts prove he received the votes reported as his were cast legally, he’ll be President. But if voter fraud occurred and such an investigation reveals conclusive evidence that Donald Trump won, Trump should serve four more years.

Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Mitch McConnell, every other Democrat and Republican, and every American should welcome such an investigation today or they will NEVER have a peaceful national political process going forward. Too many Americans will no longer stand for our government shoving its will and ideas down their throats stating that “We know what’s best for all Americans. Just trust us.”

We MUST return to government “Of, By, and For the People.” 74 million Americans who voted for that ideal are NOT going to just sit down and shut up — especially when there’s little doubt in their minds this election was stolen.
