Critical Time to “Know” What is Going on Under our Noses

Yesterday, TNN presented a story penned by NBC writers alleging the President has not and is not participating in the daily President Daily Briefing (PDB) presented to him in the Oval Office by Intelligence officials. That story, along with others already presented by various media sources along with new videos and stories being released daily, proves exactly what the Media is doing. They have weaponized their reporting and have launched an aggressive and coordinated attack on the President to lay a foundation for his impeachment. This impeachment will be to show he is inept as a leader during a crisis (Coronavirus) and is oblivious to the essential issues presented daily to every president by intelligence officials to keep the President informed of the critical intelligence information necessary to keep America safe.

What the Mainstream Media do not realize is that there are those in the U.S. that are on to their methods. They have perfected the process of creating false news and information inserted in stories that they present to America as not just factual, but give “sources” for the information they provide to us all. The problem is, there are NEVER any sources! But we’re told in each case there ARE sources.

Today we will unpack their process so that from today forward, YOU will be able to discern what’s real and what’s fake in every media report you hear, read, or see. Let’s get going.

The Plan

Here’s how the process has started. NBC “seeded” the first story. Then MSNBC followed up. CNN has not engaged yet, but you can be confident they will join the NBC networks, the New York Times, Washington Post, and other news outlets in short order. Here’s the first “shot” fired by NBC on Tuesday with the PDB fiasco:

“U.S. intelligence agencies issued warnings about the novel coronavirus in more than a dozen classified briefings prepared for President Donald Trump in January and February, months during which he continued to play down the threat, according to current and former U.S. officials. The repeated warnings were conveyed in issues of the President’s Daily Brief, a sensitive report that is produced before dawn each day and designed to call the president’s attention to the most significant global developments and security threats.”

The important nugget from those two sentences is this phrase: “according to current and former officials.” They named not a single source. If this was a credible news story that originated from real sources, they would be named. There was no source. Let’s continue.

“…But the alarms appear to have failed to register with the president, who routinely skips reading the PDB and has at times shown little patience even for the oral summary he now takes two or three times per week, according to the officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss classified material.

There is not a single person who works in the White House — especially someone who participates in intelligence briefings — that would risk not only a job, but a family and freedom to speak to a news outlet revealing classified information. We all know how the whistleblower program works. We’ve watched as it’s been used and abused in intelligence dissemination in the last year. If such a person was so concerned with the President’s action and felt the world should know about it, that person would never arbitrarily commit professional suicide by talking to NBC, they’d file a legal whistlblower complaint. Anytime a news story lists “anonymous sources,” be assured there is no source.

It’s odd that NBC then quickly left their antagonistic attacks on Mr. Trump and inserted a reply from “a White House Spokesman:” A White House spokesman disputed the characterization that Trump was slow to respond to the virus threat. “President Trump rose to fight this crisis head-on by taking early, aggressive historic action to protect the health, wealth and well-being of the American people,” said the spokesman, Hogan Gidley. “We will get through this difficult time and defeat this virus because of his decisive leadership.”

Quoting a legitimate member of the Administration even though it’s a denial of the purported claims made by that “anonymous” source is used purposely to frame the story as truthful and legitimate. It is anything but that.

Fast forward to Tuesday on Morning Joe on MSNBC. Joe and Mika pick up the “Denigrate Trump for claiming his dismissal of intelligence warnings about Coronavirus,” by first quoting stories from the past that include quotes from “three people.” While they make their claims on camera, on the screen behind are headlines from the New York Times and Washington Post with headlines that parrot the claims they are making. Their sources? Three people, none of who were named in the previous stories from which they quote, nor are they called in THIS report. Then Mika and Joe pass the mike to their White House correspondent. Her statement is SO vital in exposing these network tactics you must listen to it (1:44 in length):  

There it is again: “We’ve talked to people, members of his intelligence team…” NO names, NO titles, and made to sound as if members of the President’s National Security Office just run out on the street hunting down reporters to tattle on the President!

Here’s the Golden Rule of “real” reporting: If there is a real source for a story and within the story is a qualification of the truth in that story that mentions a source, that source is ALWAYS named. Yes, there are times when there are legitimate reasons sources are not named. But in those cases, the purpose(s) for their anonymity is ALWAYS included as an explanation for the unnamed source.

The Evil Web they Spin

The process of which you just saw Part A can and often does go much further. The creators of these specific fake stories know that Americans will almost always assume when a newsperson or writer quotes a source, “it must be true.” And news producers, writers, and editors have often weaponized that fact to use against political opponents: in this case, the President.

Is there a Part B and Part C and so on? Absolutely! This is only the tip of the iceberg. Now, they just begin the game of “Pass the Cake.”

The “Cake” is the fake story that was created at NBC. What NBC did in the Tuesday story was lay the groundwork to show Americans this president is so inept he cannot digest facts presented in his daily intelligence briefings. NBC passed the Cake to its little sister, MSNBC. MSNBC then added to the Cake they received from NBC (remember those two newspaper headlines behind Mika and Joe: the Washington Post and New York Times). Mika and Joe quoted additional “anonymous” sources while stating they had confirmed the facts in their story. Who established the facts in that story to Mika, Joe, and the White House reporter? NBC is the source for the original story and therefore added the “factualness” necessary for any other news outlet to quote the story stating, “sources confirmed…”

Summary

Watch and see how this story grows. It morphed into an even larger and more referenced account during the day Tuesday!

There are two things you need to understand before we finish this today. They are the keys to recognizing truth and untruths in ALL news reporting — especially when about President Trump:

  1.  Anytime a negative story is presented about someone, and a critical part of the story is to denigrate the subject, it will usually name a source. If that named source is not a person but instead an “unnamed” or “anonymous” or “confidential” reference in the story, there is no real source. Credible news outlets will not allow such stories to be published. If the story is factual and mentions sources, it will always name the source;
  2. In this chain of fake reporting, there is always an originator. Once that story is published, another news outlet will rewrite the story, post the story with a disclaimer that states: “Sources have confirmed….” Remember: the only story source is the news outlet that published the story. They then become the “source that has confirmed…” The third reprint of the story will then replace the old disclaimer with a new one that states: “Multiple sources have confirmed…”

This may seem infantile to you. In reality, it is the worst form of lying known to Mankind. It is weaponized to not only hurt the subject of the story but to use that false narrative created to destroy whatever that story subject has done well, which the news source — the REAL news source, the one that created the original story — designed to destroy the subject.

Using that logic, one can surmise that NBC and MSNBC created very deftly and professionally a story that includes all of the real journalistic methodology used in professional reporting. But they didn’t stop there. They had to keep going. Why? In this case, President Trump is guilty of none of what the NBC story alleged! You and I both know if there were one shred of fact in their allegations, proof of it would have long ago been plastered across every newspaper and be a lead story in every news broadcast around the world.

The anti-Trump, hate-Trump media have launched a well-planned and devised an attack on President Donald J. Trump. I am as confident as it is possible that this is an orchestrated plan put in place by Democrat Party operatives to be the groundstone of the next impeachment trial of Donald Trump.

To that end, this story will undoubtedly grow. But there are dozens of others that have been passed around like seed to various news outlets to systematically publish story after story with one and only one purpose: build a case to bring Trump up on charges of being incapable of fulfilling the role necessary for any President to fill.

The Beat Goes On…

Remember that old Sonny and Cher song, “The Beat Goes On?” That song from the 60s illustrates the circle in which we find ourselves living. It’s almost like it’s a vicious cycle: we walk in the entrance, take a look around,  then leave through the exit only to discover that from the exit we walk right back into the entrance.

Doesn’t that pretty closely mirror where we find ourselves in America today? I’m not saying things should remain the same at all, or that history should automatically repeat itself for things to be normal. What I am illustrating is that we often just don’t learn from our mistakes. And when we don’t do that, we’re doomed to repeat them, and “The Beat Goes On.”

The “Entrance”

The American ideal began with the People of the nation to actually create a nation:

“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

We got a good start: our forefathers made the trip over from Europe and settled in. They adopted the Constitution, implemented its elements into the government, and then just got after it. They thought they had done a really good and eternal thing: established a country and a government that was owned totally by the People.

Things went pretty well for a while. Then, people started getting in the mix with personal and political agendas, arguments about individual rights, states’ rights, Peoples’ rights, who was supposed to control what, and the disagreements began to escalate. Before long, the fighting began: not with other countries, but feuding with each other.

In the middle of those “growing pains,” they fought a few foreign foes. But the founders knew those conflicts with foreign enemies would be short-lived. They’d have to go back to deal with the same kinds of things that brought them and their families here in the first place: to escape the hunger and thirst for power and control by leaders in Europe. Early settlers ended in the same spot they were in that fueled their flight to the New World in the first place. “The Beat Goes On.”

The “Exit”

They took the exit sign from Europe, came to America, and built their own building with an “Entrance” sign they all used. Fortunately, they did craft a good start. But they like we have today allowed all those “European things” that initiated their move to America to slip back in. And we still struggle and fight with them today.

No one in authority seems to care about taking the “Exit.”

What’s Inside?

Personal agendas of all kinds: social, political, economic, legal, ethnic, and religious. Our forefathers with the Constitution guaranteed that all of those things would be protected and would always be the sole property of the People: the first Ten Amendments called them “The Bill of Rights.” They found a way to establish and preserve in perpetuity the freedoms for individuals that they had never seen in Europe. It was brand new to the world.

But when they got inside, they quickly learned that freedom has never and will never live in a vacuum. Freedom requires People — a citizenry — to operate what is established as a framework within a society to successfully function. They must have thought that such a structure would be an automatic by-product of the Constitution. But they quickly discovered to operate and keep its structure intact would take much time, effort, and attention.

Doing that has been for more than 250 years a fulltime job. Enter the government! Congress makes the laws with which our society functions. The Administrative branch makes certain all of the plans and programs created by Congress are implemented and operated according to the wishes of Congress that are part of those laws. In the case of legal disputes that cannot be resolved person-to-person, the Judiciary comprised of various local, state, and federal courts will intervene in every type of dispute to reach a resolution.

For the most part, it has worked successfully — but not without factions and sects, groups and power brokers each taking sides, drawing lines in the sand, and getting embroiled in fights specifically for the objective to accumulate power through government over other people — their fellow citizens. That quest for power has consumed many just as it did several centuries ago in Europe. Today, it has swallowed-up leaders and even rank-and-file members of those three branches of government. The lust for power and control has put our nation at a tipping point. Many Americans question if our nation can survive an internal political and social implosion that most say certainly is pending.

I’m one of those who are uncomfortable with that feeling in my gut that says, “We may not make it through all this.” There certainly are plenty of optimists who disagree, citing the past history of winning war after war, surviving multiple disease epidemics, financial doom in the form of depressions and one Great Depression, civil unrest instigated by actions taken by our leaders, and even the assassination of presidents and civil rights advocates. There has just seemed to always be negative energy pulling the nation apart. And it’s reaching dramatic and critical proportions today.

Overreach

Many Constitutional experts cry that the current onerous actions that were taken by local, state, and federal governments when they mandate stay-at-home actions that must be taken by their citizens are Unconstitutional. I don’t know of any court action has yet been initiated to fight such government mandates, but they are certainly on the way. Clouding that picture is the fact that Attorney General William Barr has offered something just shy of a “judicial opinion” that indicates the Justice Department, in the case of such a constitutional challenge by an American citizen, would probably argue on behalf of the American litigant.

Why would this or any other Justice Department make such a move? There is no Constitutional authority for a state or agency of the federal government to take such action. Defending Americans against unlawful abuses of power against individual rights are how Justice should be served.

Summary

Do you really think we’ll get to that point? Three years ago I would have probably laughed at such a ridiculous question. In today’s political environment that seemed to turn on a dime with the election of this President, I’m uncertain that we will NOT see it come to this. It is seldom that any U.S. Justice Department in the case of court challenges of actions taken by state or federal governments finds itself defending the person or entity filing the challenges. But, I don’t remember a case in which such actions by an American citizen were necessary.

One such similar case is on the horizon of this Justice Department. A Few months ago, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released three redacted opinions of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (also known as the FISA Court) and the FISA Court of Review (FISCR). In the first opinion, the FISA Court held that the FBI’s procedures for accessing Americans’ communications that are “incidentally” collected under Section 702 of FISA violated both the statute and the Fourth Amendment. The government appealed, and in the second opinion, the FISCR upheld the FISA Court’s decision. The FBI was forced to revise its procedures to conform with the court’s ruling, and in the third opinion, the court approved the revised procedures. In that case, the government took-on the government on Constitutional grounds.

Have we gone that far in America? Is there no longer trust between the nation’s citizens and departments of its own government? It appears that it may be likely.

If it’s real, how did something like this get started?

All I can say is there has always been a slippery slope between democracy at the top of the hill with totalitarian government control at the bottom. That is because of the human factor — the lust for power and control.

People — even adults — are driven by self motives that almost always supersede a motive that more often than not leads Americans to always do the right thing: the “legal” or “constitutional” thing.

Remember this: governments are comprised of men and women. Though many would like to believe they’re bulletproof and exempt from personal feelings of self-fulfillment, lust, and greed, those feelings are always part of the human psyche. And they must always be dealt with.

Our forefathers through generations watched the tyranny of power destroy every personal institution of individuals and families throughout Europe as despotic leaders steadily marched nations toward totalitarian rule. Even after the American settlers left, that European lust for power created the likes of Stalin, Lenin, Mussolini, and Hitler. In those oppressive communities, the value of individuals was summarily dismissed or destroyed by rabid power brokers in leadership in those countries.

That was nothing new in the world. Through centuries the same or similar actions have been taken again and again.

Where are we today in this cycle? That’s a good question. One thing IS certain: we are somewhere in that process. We’re either headed for the Entrance or we’re headed for the Exit. Unfortunately, our leadership is so fragmented today, many cannot tell the end from the beginning or the entrance from the exit. But we MUST make that determination and follow the leadership that will guide us back to that right track our forefathers created and put us on in the 1700s.

The words to that song are NOT prophetic and certainly not guaranteed. At this point, I’d love to say I’m confident we’ll get through the exit and right into the entrance back to that leadership “of, for and by the People.” But I’m not so sure today’s political party that is running with no caution toward that giant of totalitarianism will allow us to leave the circle.

Confused?

It’s not so much confusion we’re concerned about; it’s the hysteria that results from disorder. With several million Americans diagnosed with Coronavirus and over 200,000 dead at its hands, one would think the medical community would have everything to do with this virus well in hand. Nothing could be further from the truth.

There’s no universal agreement among treating doctors as to its causes, its symptoms, and treatment, nor is there a consensus on how to manage and defeat it. There ARE numerous opinions about all of this we mentioned, but very little agreement on any of it.

  • It’s transmitted only from animals to humans.
  • It CAN be transmitted from human to human.
  • Its universal symptoms are respiratory illness along with high fever.
  • High fever isn’t necessarily present as a symptom, nor is respiratory distress.
  • A sudden loss of taste is now a symptom, along with a loss of smell.
  • Loss of taste or smell is not a good indication of COVID-19.
  • Hydroxychloroquine with Azithromycin, in some cases, is the “miracle cure” for Coronavirus.
  • Numerous doctors around the world have treated thousands of COVID-19 patients with Hydroxychloroquine with amazing positive and much quicker results.
  • The FDA warns that using Hydroxychloroquine is NOT a good option for most COVID-19 patients.
  • A case study by VA proved that Hydroxychloroquine, in some cases, worsens the disease and hastens death.
  • “Experts” predict from 200,000 to 2 million Americans will die from Coronavirus, the result of COVID-19.
  • The same “Experts” say that number could be as low as 60,000 but not higher than 200,000.
  • Almost every COVID-19 patient, when exhibiting respiratory distress, needs immediate intubation and a respirator to survive.
  • Many doctors say that intubation and respirators “often” cause COVID-19 patients to quickly worsen in their condition and sometimes hasten death.

These quoted “Experts” who purportedly make their statements concluding statistics, reports of treatment of COVID-19 patients from around the world, and research committed by research scientists in dozens of laboratories worldwide agree on very little. What’s more concerning is their conclusions drawn from statistics, and their information from healthcare professionals changes daily.

Members of the media who have suddenly become medical experts on “all things COVID-19” chastise President Trump for not knowing everything about COVID-19 sufficient to prepare the U.S. for its latest pandemic months in advance of its first U.S. cases. They incessantly demand answers while posing some of the most meaningless examples of errors by members of the Trump Administration in this pandemic that each should disqualify every Trump appointee at every level of the Administration to serve. They tout the findings of a handful of their own “experts,” some of who sit in statehouses across the nation, some are contributors to liberal news outlets. These media experts to a person claim that almost all of the information relayed to Americans in the daily White House COVID-19 task force briefings are incorrect — especially when touted by the President. We could fill a book with the statements of “fact” thrown in our faces by these healthcare pundits that have been debunked when facts become known.

We seldom hear any reports of those debunked “facts.”

Is What We Hear from Experts Right or Wrong?

Just when we think we have things in their respective niches, we get a report like this:

These two ER docs are a couple of physicians who are certainly on the ground in the COVID-19 war. One would consider it wise to listen to those guys and maybe pause for our unconditional acceptance of what we are told by “experts” from the political community.

Ventilators Doctors have warned putting patients on the machines too early could cause more harm than good. Figures show two-thirds of COVID-19 sufferers who are hooked up to the potentially life-saving machines in the UK do not survive. Reports in China, Italy, and the U.S. have found that less than half of patients recover who are intubated.  Experts are unsure why the death rates are so high. In New York City alone, at least 80 percent of coronavirus patients while on a ventilator do not survive.

As health officials around the world push to get more ventilators to treat patients, some doctors are moving away from using the breathing machines when they can. The reason: Some hospitals have reported unusually high death rates for coronavirus patients on ventilators, and some doctors worry that the devices could be harming individual patients.

Mechanical ventilators push oxygen into patients whose lungs are failing. Using the machines involves sedating a patient and sticking a tube into the throat. Deaths in such sick patients are common, no matter the reason they need breathing help.

Generally speaking, 40 percent to 50 percent of patients with severe respiratory distress die while on ventilators, experts say.

One doctor explained the problem by saying that COVID-19, as it expands in the lungs, starves blood cells of oxygen. The purpose of the lungs is to oxygenate blood as it is pumped through by the heart. Ventilators pump blood using high pressure through the lungs, which, because of the tremendous increase of the virus in blood cells, cannot oxygenate those blood cells sufficiently.

Many of these doctors are ditching respirators and using oxygen itself through CPAP and BIPAP machines, which externally push oxygen into the lungs. They’re seeing O2 levels in patients increase significantly and much faster than those using ventilators.

Bad Information

Here we go again: here comes a conspiracy!

There are dozens of conspiracies floating around about purported lies and misrepresentations about COVID-19. You’ve heard them all. I have found it beneficial in this case (as is almost always the case) to count on those who sit in the driver’s seat and have the “real” pulse of the circumstances of any controversy. Regarding COVID-19, to me, it should be the healthcare professionals who treat COVID patients. And even speaking to those experts, we hear conflicts. This is the part of this mystery that perplexes me: how could there be vast differences describing the exact same circumstances regarding the same virus, its sources, dangers, treatments, and results? Isn’t it ironic that medical scientists, virologists, epidemiologists, immunologists, pulmonologists, and biologists could, in each specialty, make predictions 180 degrees from other same-field specialists?

There certainly are conspiracies abundant in each of these: political, medical, social, economic, and even military “alleged” conspiracies in each. Unfortunately for Americans, it is IMPOSSIBLE to say any of the causes, treatments, results, statistics, or sources or reasons can be debunked or confirmed in their claims!

In modern medicine, we’re accustomed to being given answers to medical issues. And we’re used to them being correct and absolute. In my lifetime, I’ve never seen or heard of anything like this.  (This video is 10 minutes. It will be 10 minutes you will never think were “wasted.”)

Summary

What can you do? I’ll answer that question this way be saying, this is what I’m doing for me. In the event of the contracting Coronavirus that cannot be treated at home and I am hospitalized, these are my WRITTEN instructions:

  1. I have an “at-home” prescription for Hydroxychloroquine and Xythromiacin that should I need hospitalization will go with me and be demanded during treatment;
  2. I have written documents that preclude my intubation or respiration by mechanical means without written permission from my personal doctor, wife, and attorney. No release for these medical treatments can be carried out without the consent of all three;
  3. Any administered procedure or drug used to treat me while hospitalized must be pre-approved by my personal physician in a written prescription;
  4. I authorize full treatment for any Code I sustain during my stay unless not doing so is jointly agreed to by my wife, personal physician, and my attorney.

(For information: I have a respiratory condition resulting from bacterial pneumonia from thirty-years-ago that result in my having Bronchiectasis, which makes breathing difficult and can lead to bacterial pneumonia)

Two weeks ago we played that video from the NYC doctor who stated the usage of respirators was not just deadly in treatment of COVID-19 patients, but actually dramatically increases the death toll among COVID-19 patients.  YouTube pulled that video down as I’m certain they will the above video from the Nurse Practioner. That in itself should be a wakeup call for us all.

What’s Going On?

The only answer I can give that is certain is “Confusion” is the common denominator of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We cannot tell you what to believe, disbelieve, accept, or even what to believe. Find your facts. We will continue to pass along all the factual information we can get to you as quickly as we find and verify its accuracy.

Oh, there is one thing I can factually say all of us should do: Pray!

It’s getting tougher each day to effectively piece together all the story tidbits necessary for plausible acceptance and understanding of what things have dramatically morphed in America in just the last 3o days. The greatest problem: find ways to continue what “were” normal lives for each that virtually disappeared into thin air just weeks ago. Who would have ever predicted our world would look like this?

Here’s the truth of this all: what we’re seeing is OUR world — PERIOD!  And right now, it’s all we have.

We all certainly hope that normalcy is in the cards for us all. But we really don’t have guarantees for that. What we DO have is hope.

Let’s hope that “hope” is enough to get us through all this.

“Let Them Eat Ice Cream”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) just returned to Washington from her stately mansion overlooking the city of San Francisco. For her return, she didn’t have to fight baggage check-in, security lines, or avoiding other travelers while waiting to board her flight. She also did not wonder who would be her seat-mate. Why? Nancy boarded her plane from a private terminal in San Francisco. Her plane is actually “OUR” plane: a military version of a Gulfstream G650 $65 million corporate jet that seats up to 14 people with a bathroom, a kitchen with all the amenities including every food and beverage item any flyer could hope for — all at the expense of taxpayers. The ticket for that return flight to D.C.? Approximately $60,000. And YOU bought the ticket.

While 22 million+ Americans have lost their jobs in the last month, many of those who are fighting to find ways to continue to put food on their tables, pay rent, pay utility bills while dodging Coronavirus, Nancy goo-goos over her stash of $15 per pint gourmet ice cream.

Does anyone feel she may be out of touch with the people of America?

Let’s be honest: MANY in Washington have long ago lost touch with Americans. Think about it: Thursday in the Senate, only six Senators appeared in the session in-person to consider legislation to be debated and then were put forth for a vote. Six Senators decided how Congress should spend $483 million taxpayer dollars!

Only one Senator rose to speak from the floor during consideration of the “new” stimulus bill: Mike Lee (R-UT). And his speech wasn’t about the pending legislation. It was to chastise his fellow Senators who chose to sit at home without performing their sworn duties in person in consideration of a half-trillion-dollar spending bill! 

There’s just something wrong with that.

Not only is that wrong, but it is also certainly revealing. Put that in tandem with the video above of Nancy sitting in front of her freezer full of a fortune of gourmet ice cream, flaunting it, how good it is and how she would never make it in life if ice cream hadn’t been invented. Wrap it all in this: while Nancy salivated over her ice cream, 23 million unemployed Americans not only couldn’t buy expensive ice cream, they couldn’t purchase milk for their babies, pay to keep their lights on along with water and had to choose which night Mom and Dad would skip supper so that the children would have enough food to eat.

I don’t think it’s Pelosi’s responsibility that COVID-19 hit our nation when and how it did. I DO think it’s her responsibility and lack of leadership that, in part, allowed it to impact us all the way it has.

Think about it: we know that COVID-19 attacked the world through China as early as November or early December. What in those months through the first week of February consumed the time of Speaker Pelosi and that of the majority of House members? Impeachment. 

Did she just think that the virus was just going to sit on the sidelines until “Coach” Nancy called it off the bench to get in the game?

Speaker Pelosi is not the only member of Congress who has turned a back toward the American people. There’s no need to call names: we all know who the chief among them is.

It’s not the right time to place blame! (And that’s directed primarily at Pelosi, Schiff, Schumer, Nadler, and the remainder of House and Senate Democrats in leadership) NEITHER side should point fingers. What should they do? They should set their shoulders to the plow and dig-in to go about the Peoples’ business while ignoring (as much as is possible) the distracting circumstances of COVID-19. Millions of everyday Americans are doing it! Why can’t they do it too?

Many of our political leaders have in good faith publicly hailed those frontline healthcare workers and law enforcement folks for the 24/7 jobs they have dutifully performed during the pandemic. Saying “Thank You” is an admirable thing to do. But saying that while shirking or avoiding performing the job committed to deliver in an oath of office is unforgivable. Any member of the House or Senate that feels ANY Americans should put themselves in harm’s way to address the needs of Americans at the hands of Coronavirus yet does not attend to the Peoples’ work in Congress should give serious consideration to resigning. There is NO “pandemic excuse” for missing work. Do what those First Responders in healthcare and all those in the critical jobs to keep as much of the economy as possible flowing do: go to work!

If you cannot perform your job, consider resigning and find a position that you can achieve regardless of extenuating circumstances that sometimes sneak-up on all of us.

Utah Senator Mike Lee: “Unlike millions of our constituents, members of Congress are still receiving paychecks. It’s time for us to earn them. It’s time to do our job. It’s time to return to Washington and get to work,” the Utah Republican said in a floor speech Tuesday. “We’ve seen members of the news media working overtime, even if, as is the case for many of them, they do so only to blame all of this — somewhat unfairly, in my opinion — on the president of the United States,“ he said.

“I understand that we’re in unusual circumstances, but we can’t let it happen this way again. This is not acceptable,” he said. The Senate left the session in March.

“That was 20 million lost jobs ago. There is more to do. There is a lot more. More than we have ever faced,” Lee said. “The health crisis is too big, and the challenges are too numerous, onerous, and complex.”

“We can’t just give those issues the attention that they deserve simply by sitting in our respective homes,” Lee said.

“The American people need to know who is helping them, and who is simply playing politics. We can’t allow them to know that if we’re not in session,” he said.

“But we also have to be honest with ourselves and the country about the fact that we can’t afford to do this in perpetuity. Nor can we ignore the public health and safety risks that go along with keeping people locked inside their homes and not returning to work indefinitely,” he said, adding that could lead to suicide, depression, domestic violence, and drug and alcohol abuse.

Lee said he doesn’t know when the right time is to reopen Utah’s economy, but those decisions should be left to state and local governments and not made in Washington, D.C.

“Brooklyn and Orem are very different communities, and every community across the country has its unique circumstances,” he said.

Meanwhile, it looks like Speaker Pelosi might have just enough gourmet ice cream to throw a party for her House Majority pals and invite New York Senator Chuck Schumer.

Unfortunately, there’s not quite enough to go around to those 26 million Americans waiting for theirs’.

Let’s Just Use a Shotgun

If you go hunting and you’re not too concerned about tearing up the animal you’re after and just want to make sure your first shot works, you consider using a shotgun. Shotguns shoot shells full of tiny pellets. Using that does not require pinpoint accuracy. However, to hunt with the intent to make a clean shot without damaging the animal, you use a gun with a single shot — a rifle. Shooting accurately with a rifle requires careful aim to assure than one bullet is successful.

There are so many things happening around us in the world today, it makes me want to pull out a shotgun and just start shooting. I’d probably be able to bag more than a few if I just banged away. And, right now, I just want to take as much as I can out of the eyesight. I’m tired of all this!

Tired of What?

I’m tired of lies, misrepresentation, arrogant pontification to prove one’s point, a demeaning mantra that accomplishes little or nothing at all, impugning the integrities of one’s political opponents. Do I need to go on?

So why don’t we today put all (or as many as possible) of our targets out of their misery? Let’s grab the shotgun and “let r’ rip!”

♦♦ Kennedy Center is in Trouble

Nancy Pelosi’s “love-benefit,” was the recipient of $25 million taxpayer dollars because it is being impactful in ridding the nation of Coronavirus, right? That $25 million may be in trouble.

Two Republican congressmen on Tuesday introduced legislation to reclaim the $25 million allocated in the recent coronavirus stimulus bill to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, as reports emerged Tuesday that the opera house will furlough roughly 60 percent of its full-time administrative staff after already suspending pay for more than 700 part-time employees and musicians.

Also, on Tuesday, Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., sent a letter to the Office of Management and Budget Acting Director Russ Vought urging the administration to freeze the money by submitting a rescission request to Congress under section 1012 of the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act. Scott wanted the White House to cut off not just the Kennedy Center funds, but also billions of dollars in other “wasteful” spending, including $75 million for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and $30.8 billion for an “Education Stabilization Fund” that he argued would enrich already wealthy universities.

Could Congress actually be awakening to realize that when they tell Americans they’re going to confiscate more taxes from us to pay for necessary things to keep us safe and save us from Coronavirus, the money should go to something to save us from Coronavirus — Duh!

♦♦ How Evil is Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA)?

 In 2018, the House Intelligence Committee “forged a rare bipartisan moment: Its Republican and Democratic members voted to make public the transcripts of 53 witnesses in the Russia collusion investigation,” John Solomon’s Just the News reminds us. However, that act of transparency has been aggressively thwarted by “Mr. Evil,”Adam Schiff.

Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) took over as chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) from Republican Devin Nunes in 2019. It was then that Schiff kicked-off his disgraceful strategy. Schiff sent a letter to the office of then-Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, which Just the News has obtained.

In the letter, Schiff “ordered that the witness transcripts – some of which contained exculpatory evidence for President Trump’s team – not be shared with Trump or White House lawyers even if the declassification process required such sharing.” The letter, dated March 26, 2019, stated:

Under no circumstances shall ODNI, or any other element of the Intelligence Community (IC), share any HPSCI transcripts with the White House, President Trump or any persons associated with the White House or the President…Such transcripts remain the sole property of HPSCI, and were transmitted to ODNI for the limited purpose of enabling a classification review by IC elements and the Department of Justice.

U.S. intelligence officials explain the severe consequence of Schiff’s actions. Officials say the request made it “impossible for them to declassify 10 of the transcripts, mostly of current and former White House and National Security Council witnesses because White House lawyers would have had to review them for what is known as ‘White House equities’ and presidential privileges.” Just the News states 43 transcripts have been made declassified and “cleared for public release and given to Schiff’s team, but they have never been made public despite the committee’s vote to do so.”

Republicans would like to see testimonies of some key figures such as former Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe and Michael Sussman, a private lawyer for the Democratic Party, be made public. “Republicans had hoped the witnesses’ testimonies would be released before the 2018 election so Americans could see some of the problems with the Russia probe and the false narrative of collusion that had been foisted on the public.” Unfortunately, that did not occur, and the “declassification efforts dragged into 2019 when Democrats took control of the House.”

It probably will come as no surprise that spokespeople for Schiff and House Intelligence Committee Democrats did not return emails seeking comment. Additionally, Schiff’s letter came “just as Special Counsel Robert Mueller was releasing his final report, which declared there wasn’t evidence to prove the core allegation lodged against Trump by Democrats – that Trump had colluded with Russia to hijack the 2016 election.”

♦♦ Small Business Rescue Earned Banks $10 Billion In Fees

 Banks handling the government’s $349 billion loan program for small businesses made more than $10 billion in fees — even as tens of thousands of small businesses were shut out of the program, according to an analysis of financial records by NPR. The banks took in the fees while processing loans that required less vetting than regular bank loans and had little risk for the banks, the records show. Taxpayers provided the money for the loans, which were guaranteed by the Small Business Administration.

According to a Department of Treasury fact sheet, all federally insured banks and credit unions could process the loans, which ranged in amount from tens of thousands to $10 million. The banks acted essentially as middlemen, sending clients’ loan applications to the SBA, which approved them.

For every transaction made, banks took in 1% to 5% in fees, depending on the amount of the loan, according to government figures. Loans worth less than $350,000 brought in 5% in fees while loans worth anywhere from $2 million to $10 million brought in 1% in fees.

♦♦ Media Now Taking Bailout From Paycheck Protection Program

  News site Axios announced Wednesday that it had qualified for a small-business loan as part of the economic stimulus passed amid the coronavirus outbreak.

In a blog post, editor Jim VandeHei indicated that the company was suffering financially because of the hit to its events business and the hit to advertising caused by the economic fallout from the pandemic.

“We are in a somewhat unique position of being both a media company, which covers government and business and a job-creating small business with a national presence. So we wanted to be fully transparent about our thinking,” VandeHei wrote.

“We have taken a financial hit like other small businesses,” he added. “The media, broadly speaking, is getting crushed by the economic fallout.”

VandeHei went on to add that the company had qualified for a loan from the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) valued at “just shy of $5 million,” and pledged that Axios would make that clear in its future reporting on the economic stimulus packages.

“This loan ensures we can avoid layoffs and pay cuts for our almost 200-person staff for the rest of the year, regardless of how much the overall economy deteriorates,” VandeHei wrote.

The Senate on Tuesday passed a $484 billion package to replenish the PPP after money from the initial fund ran out quickly. The bill will now move to the House. The second injection comes amid anger over reports that some larger corporations were able to tap the PPP loans, leaving out some smaller businesses.

♦♦ CDC’s Failed Coronavirus Tests Were Tainted with Coronavirus, Feds Confirm

A federal investigation found CDC researchers not following protocol.

As the coronavirus took root across America, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention sent states tainted test kits in early February that were themselves seeded with the virus, federal officials have confirmed. The contamination made the tests uninterpretable, and—because testing is crucial for containment efforts—it lost the country invaluable time to get ahead of the advancing pandemic.

The CDC had been vague about what went wrong with the tests, initially only saying that “a problem in the manufacturing of one of the reagents” had led to the failure. Subsequent reporting suggested that the problem was with a negative control—that is, a part of the test meant to be free of any trace of the coronavirus as a critical reference for confirming that the test was working properly overall. Now, according to investigation results reported by The New York Times, federal officials confirm that sloppy laboratory practices at two of three CDC labs involved in the tests’ creation led to contamination of the tests and their uninterpretable results.

Shortly after the problems became apparent in early February, the Food and Drug Administration sent Timothy Stenzel, chief of in vitro diagnostics and radiological health, to the CDC to investigate what was going wrong. According to the Times, he found a lack of coordination and inexperience in commercial manufacturing. Problems that led to the contamination included researchers coming and going from labs working on the test kits without changing their coats and researchers sharing lab space to both assemble test components and handle samples containing the coronavirus.

The CDC said in a statement Saturday to the Times that the agency “did not manufacture its test consistent with its own protocol.” Though the CDC appeared reluctant to admit contamination was at the root of the problem, the Times noted that in a separate statement the CDC seemed to acknowledge such problems, saying the agency has since “implemented enhanced quality control to address the issue and will be assessing the issue moving forward.”

After the CDC first sent its test kit to states in early February, it took the agency around a month to fix the problem. By then, the virus had invaded many communities unimpeded, and any chance that the US had at containing its spread had virtually vanished. By mid-March, many states turned to mitigation efforts, such as social distancing, to try to blunt—rather than prevent—the life-threatening, healthcare-overwhelming effects of COVID-19.

“It was just tragic,” Scott Becker, executive director of the Association of Public Health Laboratories, told the Times. “All that time when we were sitting there waiting, I felt like, here we were at one of the most critical junctures in public health history, and the biggest tool in our toolbox was missing.”

As of the morning of April 20, the US has confirmed more than 760,000 cases of COVID-19 and more than 40,700 deaths. The numbers are expected to be underestimates due to the slow and still limited amount of testing.

Summary

There is nothing more to say: each of these briefs speak volumes of how the sanity of many leaders in America long ago leaked out into the streets. And they don’t realize what little they had is now gone!

It’s time for us all to awaken and realize how desperate we SHOULD be. It’s going to take God and a couple of miracles to awaken the nation to reality: miracles like parting the Red Sea or walking on water. Either is fine with me.

Here we are on another Thursday morning and we’re still looking for facts!

That’s the biggest debacle of all of these.

Voting by Mail: Let the Fight Begin!

Here we go! All those for making voting so much easier for Americans now have another arrow in their quiver for what they term is “justification” for voting by mail. Their new arrow has a name: “Coronavirus.”

We saw it play out in the Wisconsin Democrat primary election just a few weeks ago. Back and forth from court to court filing lawsuits, filing appeals, the Wisconsin governor weighing in with his decision and another court overturning. Wisconsin voters voted: period. Sure, there were some fears of Coronavirus. But it’s reasonably sure that everyone that voted had their one vote count. I said “one vote” because that has not always been the case. In many lessons throughout American history, people have cheated and have voted multiple times and often have lied and voted as someone else. That’s part of this story we’ll get to in a bit. But we DO know this one thing: Coronavirus IS and WILL be changing everything for at least a good while in the nation. And that probably will include the November election. Buckle up! The fight has already begun.

In recent history, voters in national elections know almost immediately after polls close who is going to be the next president. Electronics in voting have made it easy. But it’s not going to be very easy in November, and it probably will be no easier in any day going forward. Because of a massive increase in mail-in voting in states that are not used to it, the presidential election could take a week or more to be decided. Public officials are just now beginning to grapple with how to prepare themselves and the country for this unprecedented situation.

“It’s a culture shift that’s going to be required,” said Vanita Gupta, president, and CEO of the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, in an interview. “We should be prepared to wait at least a week before the results can be certified.”

Gupta, who oversaw the Justice Department’s civil rights division from 2014 to 2017, said her organization — one of the oldest civil rights groups in the country — would work with other groups over the next several months to raise awareness and create an expectation among both voters and journalists that results should not be expected on election night.

“People are going to have to be able to be patient to wait for the results,” Gupta said. “That’s an uncomfortable position for a lot of people. The media’s not used to it. The public’s not used to it.” But, she said, “election officials need to be able to do their job to make sure they are counting every ballot. The danger would be if there is false pressure that gets built-in, and people are disenfranchised because of this false pressure.”

Tom Perez, the chairman of the Democratic National Committee, said that “if we have a vote-by-mail state that is close, I would rather be in a position where everybody’s vote got counted. I think that should be our gold standard, is that everyone who wanted to participate was able to participate.”

“I’d rather get it right than get it at 10 o’clock on Election Day night.”

In my opinion, “Get it right” means “everybody gets one vote to cast — just ONE vote. And we must verify whoever casts that vote has been confirmed to be the person registered and casts that vote legally.”

Vote By Mail Already Exists

Five states currently conduct all elections entirely by mail: Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, and Utah. At least 21 other states have laws that allow certain smaller elections (such as school board contests) to be conducted by mail. For these elections, all registered voters receive a ballot in the mail. The voter marks the ballot, puts it in a secrecy envelope or sleeve and then into a separate mailing envelope, signs an affidavit on the exterior of the mailing envelope, and returns the package via mail or by dropping it off.

Ballots are mailed out well ahead of Election Day, and thus voters have an “election period,” not just a single day, to vote. All-mail elections can be thought of as absentee voting for everyone. This system is also referred to as “vote by mail.”

While “all-mail elections” means that every registered voter receives a ballot by mail, this does not cancel in-person voting opportunities on and before Election Day. For example, even though all registered voters in Colorado are mailed a ballot, voters can choose to cast a ballot at an in-person vote center during the early voting period or on Election Day (or drop-off, or mail, their ballot back).

Generally, states begin with providing all-mail elections only in certain circumstances, and then add additional opportunities as citizens become familiar with procedures. Oregon’s vote-by-mail timeline includes four times that the legislature acted before the 1998 citizens’ vote that made Oregon the first all-mail election state.

All states will already mail an absentee ballot to individual voters who request one. In two-thirds of the states, any qualified voter may vote absentee without offering an excuse, and in one-third of the states, an apology is required. Some states offer a permanent absentee ballot list. Once a voter asks to be added to the list, she or he will automatically receive an absentee ballot for all future elections.

Voter Fraud

Mention those words at a Democrat Party function, and you’ll be immediately tossed! That’s like the proverbial “something ugly got slipped into the punch bowl.” That forces one to ask and try to answer this question: “Why are so many Democrats adamantly for mail-in voting while being just as adamantly against voter ID requirements? But there’s no absolute answer to that. Let’s start with words from leaders in one of those five states who conduct elections totally through the mail: Oregon.

That all sounds so simple, doesn’t it? And voting SHOULD be simple. And, as you just heard, those who so vehemently support mail-in voting, to a person, disavow any claim or claims of voter fraud. If we’ve heard once that, “there is no proof in any federal election on record of there being ‘massive’ voter fraud like Republicans and President Trump claim,” we’ve heard it a hundred times.

Notice that word “massive?” That’s the caveat that allows them to make that argument. But there is plenty of evidence of massive voter fraud. The problem is that states — not the federal government — run all elections. Normally states conduct their own elections in tandem with federal elections. And whether or not Democrats, or any other persons for that matter, want to dispute the existence of systemic voter fraud, they must live in “La-La Land.”

Tom Fitton, the President of Judicial Watch, has on behalf of his company filed numerous lawsuits against states, individuals, corporations and other municipalities for voter fraud. Sometimes the alleged voter fraud can be written-off as accidental — but not very often. Fitton in his research and subsequent lawsuits have found millions of voters and votes that were fraudulent and therefore ineligible to vote or be counted in every kind of election! Why would those on the left simply shrug those claims away and say, “Voter fraud just doesn’t happen?”

Tom Fitton and Judicial Watch have been busy finding places where voter fraud is rampant. You just heard his comments about one million bogus votes discovered in North Carolina. It’s not just in North Carolina, believe me.

Los Angeles County has started the process of removing from its registration rolls an estimated 1.5 million inactive voters who have moved, died or become ineligible to cast a ballot, an effort to comply with federal election law and a court settlement with Judicial Watch. The county, the most populous in the United States, recently mailed notices to the inactive voters in an effort to verify their residency status and whether they are still alive. It’s the first time in 20 years that Los Angeles County has cleaned its voter rolls, having previously interpreted the federal law requiring it as not mandatory.

And then there’s this: we KNOW for certain there’s voter fraud in mail-in voting. We know someone personally who did it!

In 2011, a lady decided to test the system, and so she asked for three voter registration applications from the county voter registration office in her county in Florida. She filled them out, listing three different names — two that she pulled out of her head Rebecca Bugle and Hannah Arendt — and her own name, Margaret Menge. Margaret listed her real date of birth, and made up dates of birth for the other two. On the lines where the application asked for a driver’s license number or last four of Social Security number, she wrote “none” as the instructions said to do if a person has neither of these.

A few weeks later, she got two notices back, saying applications for Rebecca Bugle and Margaret Menge could not be processed because a driver’s license number or Social Security number was not provided. But Margaret also received in her mailbox a new voter information card for Hannah Arendt. On the outside of the card, her mailman had circled the name and address and written a question mark in pencil. But he still put it in the mailbox.

A few days later, Margaret checked the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections website, and, sure enough, there was Hannah Arendt, listed as an eligible voter — a person who existed in history, the celebrated author of “Eichmann in Jerusalem” — but not a person who was in existence in 2011 in Palm Beach County, Florida.

Not long after, with an election approaching, she called the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections, said she was Hannah Arendt, and asked for an absentee ballot. The employee on the phone asked for a date of birth, and when given that information from “Hannah’s”  initial application — July 20, 1991 — she said she’d send one. The absentee ballot for Hannah Arendt appeared via mail a week or two later.

Margaret called a former Florida secretary of state in 2012 and asked him how was it possible that she was able to do this.

“Well,” he said, “the fact is that they check names of people applying to register to vote against several different databases, but they have no way to check to see whether someone exists.”

That’s just one way people can cheat with absentee ballots. There are many more.

Last year, a political operative working for North Carolina Republican congressional candidate Mark Harris was charged with fraud for directing a group of people to fill out as many as 1,000 absentee ballot requests on behalf of voters — most of whom were unaware the ballots were being requested. These people then collected the ballots and filled them out themselves. Harris defeated Democrat Dan McCready by just 905 votes and, though it was never shown that the number of tainted ballots was enough to account for Harris’s win, the election results were thrown out, and a new election was held. (Republican Dan Bishop beat McCready in a special election by 2,400 votes.)

Also in 2019, a Democratic city clerk in Southfield, Michigan, was arrested and charged with six felonies for falsifying absentee ballot records to say that 193 of the ballots in one election were missing signatures or a return date, when in fact they had both. The correct records were found in the trash can in her office.

Summary

Voting in person or mail-in ballots: both seem simple and each in certain circumstances appropriate. But the single absolute in these two voting methods is that when a person in person shows up at a voting precinct, gives their name and presents an ID to confirm they are the same person as registered in the registrar’s voters database, those running that election know a legal voter just cast a ballot.

In a similar case but one using mail-in voting, there is absolutely no way possible for anyone to guarantee the person whose name is on the ballot above their signature is the person who actually “showed up” to vote.

Mail-in voting is a really big deal right now. It’s not so much because of Coronavirus — which is the narrative Democrats are cramming down the throats of Americans. It’s looking as if our pandemic may be mostly if not totally resolved before September 1! That if it happens means the November election should proceed in normal fashion.

But there’s one big glitch in all this: the glitch’s name is “COVID-19.” “If” our pandemic has not disappeared or is not in a status in which voting in person is safe, absentee-balloting is a certainty. And NO state, with the exception of the five states who already have mail-in voting, can possibly be prepared by November. And voting ballots would necessarily need to be mailed a month before.

I just hate to think about how easy it will be for those who wish to cheat in voting find it to be really easy to do so. And, by the way, mail-in voting MUST be done for the 2020 election according to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. She stated weeks ago that any new stimulus bill that the House considers MUST contain a provision for permanent mail-in voting for every state, or she will not give American businesses or the American people one more dime.

“The Perfect Storm:” COVID-19

The original “Perfect Storm” was a nor’easter that absorbed Hurricane Grace, and ultimately evolved into a small unnamed hurricane. It developed off the coast of Atlantic Canada on October 29 of 1991. Forced southward by a ridge to its north, it reached its peak intensity as a large and powerful cyclone. The storm lashed the east coast of the United States with high waves and coastal flooding. When it moved over warmer waters, the system transitioned into a subtropical cyclone before becoming a tropical storm. It executed a loop off the Mid-Atlantic states and turned toward the northeast. On November 1, the system evolved into a full-fledged hurricane, with peak sustained winds of 75 miles per hour. It did approximately $200 million of damage to the U.S. It never had a formal name but was named the “Perfect Storm” for a reason: multiple weather elements had to be part of such a storm or it never could have developed, mutated, and taken-on its weather characteristi.

I believe we are living through the Perfect Storm that may eventually be revealed to be one of the greatest travesties in our nation’s history. COVID-19 is “our “Perfect Storm.” And it could not be happening without all of its twists and turns as it has crept through the world and our nation. And just as is the original storm, the twists and turns have each been unexpected and therefore surprising. And each had and has the experts scratching their heads.

Why a Travesty?

Without blowing a conspiracy horn, let me say that numerous elements of COVID-19 do not even resemble the elements of any previous pandemic nor do any of the reported COVID-19 results or statistics. The differences are so stark and dramatic they cry for an explanation. And no one who has stepped forward to explain has been able to reveal any of the “why’s,” the “how’s,” or the “here you go’s.”

None of it adds up. It’s just like the movie about and the REAL “Perfect Storm.” There’s just NO WAY this perfect storm should exist.

Modern medicine has always found ways to find and expose each mystery like those hidden inside of COVID-19. We won’t waste your time detailing each one. They’ve each been thrown in our faces since early February as part of fruitless explanations by “experts” for what is happening, how and why it’s all happening. And they each have proven to be incorrect.

I’m not bashing any of those experts. I’m setting the stage for a serious and objective look at this perfect storm. Nothing happens without specifics.  It’s the specifics of the “COVID-19 Storm” experts MUST sort out. Logic always plays a leading role in pandemics. A+B=C is always a constant unless facts are not available to support the identities of A or B. It appears that is the point at which we find ourselves.

In the case of THE “Perfect Storm,” the storm occurred because of elements A and B that were both present and comprised a great portion of the storm. A and B together may have actually created it. We don’t know that. But we DO know that the pair added together equal C in 1991. Our “C” is Coronavirus. That is certain. I guess we need to find the identities of A and B.

Let’s give it a shot.

A & B

What seen factors are in front of our faces and in our ears every day, all day regarding COVID-19? There are only three.

One encompasses all things in medicine related to the virus. “Medicine,” in this case, includes healthcare physicians, technicians, scientists, hospitals and clinics, and lots and lots of pharmaceuticals. These are all hands-on in the fight against COVID-19.

Two is everything “people-related” pertaining to anything regarding infection, treatment, hospitalization, healing and, sadly, death.

There’s a second component in the “people-related” matter in this equation: Communication. In this storm, the people issue has actually become as big or even bigger than the COVID-19 which is our “C.” And the people component is comprised of many different sources and methods of communication.

There’s always the “people-to-people.” Personal here-say has existed as long as there have been at least two people. Then people formed families, then multiple families. Next came folks gathered together in working environments, social groups, etc. It’s been a very successful way to share news and information. And it’s always first-hand.

Community-wide communication gave people the ability to pass along information on a scale much greater than one person at a time. That may have begun with written letters, then grew into bulletins and newspapers. Electronics gave us digital billboards, computers, the internet, satellites, and each of the specific vehicles with which to communicate on a mass scale.

Third in this is in large part the most obvious of all these, but it is SO obvious it’s almost invisible: Politics. Intrinsic in communication regarding healthcare issues on such a large scale always involves an additional element to information sharing. Politics becomes a critical part of it. After all, when a nation struggles with a disease that impacts its citizens on a scale as has COVID-19, the government MUST be a part of it. The larger the crisis the greater is the government’s role.

Today’s politicians find themselves dealing daily with a huge issue never seen before in the U.S. at any level such as with COVID-19. We’ve had pandemics; we’ve had other virus breakouts, none of which has proven to be this widespread this quickly. And with the communication commodity which provides instant news coverage of anything and everything, politicians discovered they MUST control news dissemination to control the narrative sent to the American people.

Their reasoning needing, wanting, and even demanding control of this narrative? To prevent mass chaos that might result in riots in the streets, panic in the retail marketplaces, the destruction of healthcare facilities, and even violence that might rise to the level of severely injuring and even the murders of American citizens.

Summary

What’s the dilemma in this perfect storm for which no one so far has given a complete and reasonable and believable answer? Not one thing that is part of this storm makes sense!

  • It’s origins are hidden
  • It’s method(s) of transmission remain unknown or, at least, uncertain
  • It’s spreading transmission methods or unclear
  • It’s successful treatment processes remain unknown or unconfirmed
  • It’s containability has yet not been determined
  • Whether or not it will mutate into additional and maybe more dangerous strains is unconfirmed

In all of this uncertainty about our “C,” why have politicians taken total control of every aspect of this pandemic? I think if we find the answer to that question, we will find the facts necessary to make this equation work. And remember this, today’s politicians do NOT work alone. Politicians during the eight years of the presidency of Barack Obama found away to takeover and take control of the messaging of a political party. At least in the Obama years and the 3.5 years of a Trump Administration, the media’s choice of political party has been and is the Democrat Party. Democrat politicians have recognized that gift, have made it part of the political dna, and have weaponized it. And they are using that weapon to take control of every aspect of Americans’ lives during our very own Perfect Storm.

There’s no conspiracy here. Since the 2016 presidential campaign started, the Media have been in the tank for any entity, any idea, any stone they can use to get rid of Donald Trump. Donald Trump is their “C!”  They have snatched the people-to-people communication mindset and put it in tandem with the messaging capabilities of today’s Mainstream Media to perpetuate that thinking among the American people: Donald Trump is evil. We’ve watched it through every attempt of their united front to remove the duly-elected 45th President of the United States from office.

Many, and I’m one of them, think that the Democrat leadership in Congress has concrete plans to use all things Coronavirus-related to aggressively force Donald Trump from the White House. Whether it happens through formal impeachment or multiple simultaneous House committee investigations into everything involving the president in this pandemic, so much so he from exhaustion just throws in the towel, they will do anything to remove him from their lives.

I do not have any answers to how we should respond or what we can do. But know this: when something doesn’t smell right — especially when it comes to politics in America today — the smell is coming directly from something that has spoiled, is rotting, and in doing so will spoil everything around it.

Something is certainly in part rotting and in part is dead at the U.S. Capitol.

And our “Perfect Storm” picks up speed and intensity.

“Epic Monday:” April 20, 2020

It may be hard to believe, but while we all mostly stayed inside binge-watching Netflix or Andy Griffith, Earth just kept on spinning, Moms kept on struggling to keep young kids occupied, Dads mourned having no baseball and no NBA playoffs to watch, and politicians that, on the most part, were NOT in Washington still found ways to find their ways onto television shows and to give newspaper and radio interviews. Oh, the wonders of the internet and satellite communication! Where would we be in this Coronavirus climate without Skype?

We at TruthNewsNetwork watched all weekend closely. We in research uncovered some startling information that dominated our time in obtaining confirmations of facts. Also, Pelosi showed back up — at least on television — and dominated the Sunday news shows in her “Bash Trump Tour” for April. And she didn’t waste any time nor mince any words at telling the world how inept he is as President.

There is big news in the Coronavirus pandemic that we have joined most of you to observe. In contrast, several states have initiated the processes to ease back into “real” life for businesses — some businesses — to try to get the U.S. economy moving, if only slowly.

Here’s my Monday morning dilemma: it is an impossibility to write a 1200-1500 word story that includes all the information we want to share with you. It is impossible! We can’t even get half of it just highlighted in our regular story length. And all the information with details we need to share with you is essential IN TOTAL!
