Details of Biden’s DOJ Suit Against Georgia: You’ll Cringe!

I wasn’t surprised when the Democrat Left objected to Georgia’s legislature’s passage of a new election integrity bill. I wasn’t surprised when activist Democrat Stacy Abrams joined fellow Democrats who each lied continuously about the law’s contents and alleged implications for African Americans. Further, it came as no surprise that the Mainstream Media donned the cloak of “Keepers of Truth” and spread the Abrams’/Democrats’ lies 24/7 about its black voters’ suppression. None of what they have collectively spewed since the Georgia law’s passage nor of any other of states’ election law revisions signed into law suppress the voting rights of ANY AMERICAN VOTERS!

But what DID surprise me was the Biden Administration’s actions regarding the Georgia voting law.

On Friday, June 25, 2021, the Biden administration filed a 46-page complaint against the state of Georgia, alleging the state’s Election Integrity Act of 2021 violated Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. 1. It’s Still 1965

Given that on occasion President Joe Biden believes he’s still in the Senate, it should come as no surprise that his Department of Justice believes it’s still 1965.

In alleging that provisions in the Georgia voting-integrity law violate Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, the DOJ opened its complaint by proclaiming that the Georgia legislature enacted the law “against the backdrop of Georgia’s history of discrimination against Black Georgians. ” The complaint continued with an entire section headed “The State of Georgia’s History of Discrimination,” which stressed, “the history of official racial discrimination against Black citizens in Georgia with regard to voting is longstanding, well-documented, and recognized by federal courts.”

The DOJ drafted its complaint as though that reality still exists and acting oblivious to the Supreme Court’s decision in Shelby County v. Holder, even though a few paragraphs later the Biden administration noted that Georgia had been subject to the preclearance requirement of Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act until 2013 when the Supreme Court decided Shelby County.

But as the Supreme Court made clear in Shelby County, since Congress passed the Voting Rights Act in 1965 “things have changed dramatically,” and “conditions have changed significantly.” At the time the Voting Rights Act passed, “the blight of racial discrimination in voting” had “infected the electoral process in parts of our country for nearly a century.”

Accordingly, as part of the Voting Rights Act, Congress required states that had maintained tests or devices as a prerequisite to voting such as literacy and knowledge tests or good moral character requirements, “and had less than 50 percent voter registration or turnout in the 1964 Presidential election,” to obtain federal permission before enacting any law related to voting. Georgia was one of nine states subject to Section 5’s preclearance mandate.

However, after recounting the extreme circumstances that originally justified Section 5’s usurpation of state control and disparate treatment of the states, the Supreme Court concluded that “the conditions that originally justified these measures no longer characterize voting in the covered jurisdictions.”

For instance, the Supreme Court noted, by 2009, “the racial gap in voter registration and turnout [was] lower in the States originally covered by § 5 than it [was] nationwide,” and the covered states saw near parity between black and white voter turnout and registration rates. This reality led the Supreme Court in Shelby County to declare Section 5 unconstitutional, and Georgia and her sister states thus free to pass laws regulating voting without seeking federal government approval.

Yet to read the DOJ’s complaint against Georgia, one would think nothing had changed. Or maybe a more apt assessment would be that the men and women running the Biden administration’s DOJ want Americans to think nothing had changed. Well, and that the DOJ honchos don’t like the Shelby County decision and the Supreme Court stripping the power of federal bureaucrats to micromanage state election systems.

2. Georgia Republicans Are a Bunch of Racists

The DOJ’s complaint point-blank accuses the Georgia legislature of racism. In enacting the Election Integrity Act of 2021, “the Georgia General Assembly intended to deny or abridge the right of Black Georgians to vote on account of race or color,” the complaint opens.

Significantly, to sue under Section 2, the DOJ does not need to allege intentional racism. Rather, the federal government need only claim that the challenged “standard, practice, or procedure. . . results in a denial or abridgment of the right of any citizen of the United States to vote on account of race or color.”

While elsewhere in the complaint the government focuses on the results of the challenged provisions to claim the impact disproportionately affects black voters, the DOJ didn’t leave it there, as it could have, instead of seeing fit to brand the Georgia General Assembly as full of racists.

3. Racists Exist, therefore the Law Is Racist

Besides calling the Georgia legislature racist, the DOJ’s complaint wants to hold the state responsible for racists everywhere. For instance, someone created “a GIF with a slow-swinging noose aimed at [an election worker]” and later that same election worker “faced death threats,” the complaint alleges.

Horrible? Yes. Relevant in any way? No.

That didn’t stop the DOJ from including the allegation, as well as another that noted that “one phone caller threatened to behead Reverend Warnock and referred to the church at which he is a paster, Ebenezer Baptist — the church once pastored by Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. — using a vile racial epithet.” The church, the DOJ explained, had to filter comments on its social media pages given the significant number of racist comments related to Rev. Warnock’s candidacy” for U.S. Senate.

Another allegation noted that “during the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial contest, a racist robocall referred to candidate Stacey Abrams as “Negress Stacey Abrams” and “a poor man’s Aunt Jemima.”

Again, horrible and, as the DOJ says, vile. But completely irrelevant to whether the Georgia law violates the Voting Acts Right.

4. A Complaint Is Not a Campaign Ad

The Biden administration’s peddling of random and anonymous racist comments as reflective of both the Georgia legislature and the state as a whole mirrored Democrats’ campaign strategy over the years to convince blacks not to vote for Republicans. The irrelevant allegations merely added some legalese to charges, such as Biden  in 2012 that, “They’re going to put y’all back in chains.”

Several other portions of the complaint likewise sounded strikingly similar to campaign commercials touting Democratic candidates. “Vice President Kamala Harris became the first Black and Indian-American Vice President ever elected,” the complaint boosted. And “on January 5, 2021, with strong turnout among Black voters, the State of Georgia elected its first Black Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock, and its first Jewish-American Senator, Jon Ossoff,” the complaint cheered.

The most striking of the allegations came later when the DOJ claimed as a reason to believe the law was racist that “many elected officials in Georgia have not been responsive to the particularized needs of Black residents.”

5. One Thing Has Nothing to Do with the Other

Likewise irrelevant, yet included in the DOJ’s complaint, were references to Stop the Steal, and litigation about claims of voter fraud in 2020.

“Despite a dearth of evidence,” the Biden administration wrote, “accusations of fraud around the absentee voting process and the tabulation of votes circulated widely.” The complaint continued, “lawyers behind several lawsuits seeking to overturn presidential election results in multiple states hosted a press conference at a ‘Stop the Steal’ event” where calls “Georgia Governor Brian Kemp to be locked up,” were made.

The DOJ further stressed that “a barrage of lawsuits alleging voter fraud were brought.” Why, exactly, was that a problem? Here’s the DOJ’s answer: “These lawsuits often included allegations focused on counties containing significant numbers of Black voters and other voters of color.”

Similarly problematic in the DOJ’s view was that at least one Georgia senator whose committee bore responsibility for handling the voting legislation had attended a senate hearing at which unfounded claims of voter fraud were presented. What does that have to do with Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act? Nothing.

Probably the most shocking irrelevancy, however, was the DOJ’s beef that “a number of lawmakers in the Georgia Senate, who subsequently helped draft, promote, and pass SB 202, issued a statement in support of an unsuccessful lawsuit brought by the State of Texas asking the United States Supreme Court to overturn Georgia’s election results.”

Not only does this allegation have nothing to do with Section 2, but the DOJ also ignored that Texas’s complaint about Georgia’s handling of the election presented a constitutional claim premised on the Electors Clause and the state’s failure to conduct the legislatively mandated signature checks and its use of dropbox voting — something the legislature had not provided for.

While the federal government might find the Electors Clause claim meritless, it isn’t exactly a good look for the Department of Justice to criticize a state for seeking redress in the courts for claimed constitutional violations. And it is laughable to further suggest that the Election Integrity Act of 2021 violates Section 2 because some lawmakers involved in that legislation supported Texas’s litigation.

6. It’s a Partisan Law

Equally laughable are the DOJ’s allegations concerning the supporters of the new Georgia voting law.

“On February 17, 2021, SB 202 was introduced in the Senate with only white sponsors,” the DOJ wrote in some sort of “gotcha” moment. The DOJ then outdid itself by complaining that the Senate passed the bill “along party lines with no support from Black legislators,” and the House did the same.

They then complain Kemp signed the law “behind closed doors and before a group of supporters that did not include any people of color. When Rep. Park Cannon, who is Black, attempted to witness the signing, she was arrested.”

Is it strange that the governor would not invite a representative who called the legislation “Jim Crow 2.0” to its signing? Or that she would be arrested after officers told her to stop pounding on the governor’s door during the signing ceremony?

7. Problems, What Problems?

The Biden administration’s complaint also takes a hilarious-if-it-weren’t-so-sad spin on the legitimate concerns that drove passage of the Election Integrity Act of 2021, with the DOJ acting as if there were no problems in Georgia’s administration of the 2020 election.

The DOJ spins began early in its refusal to even acknowledge the name of Georgia’s law, the Election Integrity Act of 2021, instead, saying the bill is known as “Georgia Senate Bill 202,” and referring to the voter-integrity law like SB 202 throughout the complaint.

Then, the Biden administration ticked through the challenged provisions, which include the prohibition on the government from distributing unsolicited absentee ballot applications and the bar on private organizations from distributing duplicate absent ballot applications. The DOJ also objected to the requirement that in requesting an absentee ballot, voters without a state-issued driver’s license provide a photocopy of another form of identification, which could include a utility bill.

The lawsuit further alleged that limits on the time period for registrants to request a ballot, limiting absentee ballot drop boxes, barring out-of-precinct ballots, and banning the distribution of food or drink to persons waiting in line all violated Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.

For anyone knowledgeable about the issues that plagued Georgia and other states, the DOJ’s arguments proved guffaw-inducing. Consider, for instance, the DOJ’s complaint that “SB 202” now requires voters to provide identification for requesting an absentee ballot.

“Since 2006, in-person voters in Georgia have been required to show photo identification,” the complaint read, but “prior to SB 202, absentee voters were exempt from this requirement.” “Instead,” the DOJ explained, “election officials would compare the signature on a voter’s absentee ballot envelope with the voter’s signature in the voter file.” But now, to the horror of the DOJ, instead of using a signature match, Georgia requires voters to provide identification to request a ballot then again when the ballot is submitted.

This complaint is pretty rich given that Georgia was previously sued for requiring a signature match and to settle that litigation the state entered into an agreement establishing a stringent process for rejecting applications based on a mismatch in the signatures: In effect, the cumbersome procedures agreed to end the signature requirement for the 2020 election.

Yet the DOJ now complains that it is too burdensome for black voters to provide their driver’s license or state identification number, or another identifying document such as a utility bill, to request an absentee ballot.

Similarly, in complaining that Georgia’s new law tightens the use of dropboxes, the DOJ ignores two main issues the legislation sought to address. First, Georgia’s legislature had never approved the use of drop boxes. That supposed “authorization” came from the State Election Board.

But the Electors Clause of the Constitution mandates that state legislatures determine the rules for federal elections and not unelected bureaucrats or judges. Thus, the Georgia legislature’s approval of drop boxes actually expanded voting opportunities from what the legislature had previously authorized.

Second, the DOJ’s complaint that the Georgia law limits the number and locations of drop boxes ignores that the flood of drop boxes used in 2020 were not properly monitored and ballots were not properly safeguarded. For instance, earlier this year, Georgia’s secretary of state referred three counties “for investigation after those counties failed to do their absentee ballot transfer forms in violation of Georgia Rules and Regulation.” Also, two weeks ago, the secretary of state announced an investigation into Fulton County following revelations that it “is unable to produce all ballot dropbox transfer documents.”

8. Left Hand, Meet Far-Left Hand

While in its lawsuit against Georgia, the Biden administration claims that Georgia’s requirement that voters cast ballots in the proper precinct violates Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, just a few months ago, the Biden administration agreed that Arizona’s out-of-precinct voting law was valid.

That admission came in the form of a letter to the Supreme Court in the case of Brnovich v. Democratic National Committee, following Biden’s inauguration. The Trump administration had previously submitted a “friend of the court brief,” supporting Arizona’s voting-integrity legislation that banned ballot harvesting and required voters to cast ballots in the proper precinct. After the Biden administration took over, it informed the high court that “it does not disagree with the conclusion in that brief that neither Arizona measure violates Section 2’s results test.”

Yet now, the Biden administration claims that Georgia’s statute barring out-of-precinct voting violates Section 2. It’s almost as if the Biden administration has something against the state of Georgia.

Summary: How Do you Make Sausage?

The bottom line, after nearly 50 pages, is that the Biden administration just does not like the fact that the Georgia legislature passed the Election Integrity Act of 2021, and the complaint unwittingly makes clear that is the real beef the DOJ has with the new law. How else to explain the DOJ’s allegations related to the legislative process, and its complaint, for instance, that one of the law’s bill sponsors had indicated that a future bill would include a provision not later included in the bill as past?  Or the tedious detailing of the process by which the bill passed?

It’s almost as if Biden forgot how the Obama-Biden administration squeezed through the so-called Affordable Care Act.

A dramatic rise in antimicrobial overuse is fueling the rise of dangerous new pathogens

“Antibiotic resistance is one of the biggest public health challenges of our time,” declares the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). And while antibiotic resistance and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) took a backseat to the COVID-19 pandemic, the problem hasn’t gone away.

Antibiotic resistance (AR) refers to bacteria resistant to antibiotics. Antimicrobial resistance is a broader term used to describe resistance to drugs among a variety of microbes, including bacteria, parasites, viruses, and fungi.

The tragedy of this problem is that our body depends on many of these microbes for proper function. Current practices are harming these helpful microbes and creating more dangerous ones. The WHO (World Health Organization) says AMR is one of the top 10 global public health threats to humanity, but it rarely makes front-page news, especially now that COVID has entered the arena.

The COVID-19 pandemic—and its unprecedented promotion of hand sanitizer, antimicrobials (including antibiotics), and disinfectants—has even made AMR worse.

“There has been a rapid increase in multidrug-resistant organisms,” Taiwanese researchers warned in an article published in the International Journal of Antimicrobial Agents earlier this year. The authors call for the “appropriate prescription and optimized use of antimicrobials.” And yet, the fear of COVID continues to overshadow the growing threat of AMR, which will likely surpass the number of COVID-19 deaths by at least threefold annually by 2050.

“The scary thing is, [AMR is] insidious and silent. The latest figures suggest AMR will cause over 10 million deaths per year by 2050. This is more than deaths from cancer and diabetes combined, and triple the current COVID-19 death toll of 3.4 million deaths worldwide since 2019,” writes Dr. Tina Joshi, a lecturer in molecular microbiology at the University of Plymouth, in an article for NewStatesman.

Antimicrobial Resistance Grew During COVID-19

While the world stopped due to COVID-19, the use of antimicrobial agents—for disinfecting surfaces and public spaces and treating patients—increased. The high rates of antimicrobial agent usage in COVID-19 patients are now being blamed for a rapid rise in multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs), including:

  • Extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL)-producing Klebsiella pneumonia
  • Carbapenem-resistant New Delhi metallo-β-lactamase (NDM)-producing Enterobacterales
  • Acinetobacter baumannii
  • Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)
  • Pan-echinocandin-resistant Candida glabrata
  • Multitriazole-resistant Aspergillus fumigatus

In many cases, COVID-19 patients have presented with secondary infections with multidrug-resistant organisms. Fungal co-infections in COVID-19 patients are also common, as is antibiotic treatment, with one report from China suggesting that more than 70 percent of COVID-19 patients received antibiotics.

Other research suggested that 84.7 percent of hospitalized COVID-19 patients received intravenous antibiotic therapy, while a report published in the Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy stated that up to 95 percent of COVID-19 patients in some hospitals are prescribed antibiotics.

As for why so many patients were excessively treated with antibiotics (which kill bacteria) despite COVID-19 being caused by a virus (SARS-CoV-2), researchers suggested that co-bacterial fungal or secondary infections were only part of the reason. Other reasons included:

  • Since the symptoms of COVID-19, such as cough and fever, may also occur in bacterial pneumonia, “clinicians empirically add a broad-spectrum antibiotic despite the suspicion of a viral origin.”
  • Anxiety and uncertainty regarding COVID-19 and an absence of effective SARS-CoV-2 treatments potentially drove “widespread and excessive prescription of antibiotics.”
Excessive Antimicrobials Affect Environment

AMR has clear toxicological effects on the environment, in part because patients excrete a large proportion of drugs they ingest, which allows drug residues and drug metabolites to be released into rivers and coastal waters.

A team from the University of Plymouth in England conducted a risk assessment to determine the potential environmental impact of prescribing COVID-19 patients antibiotics, which revealed, “The data for amoxicillin indicate a potential environmental concern for selection of AMR.” The team urged such assessments to be carried out in the future to keep tabs on the potentially disastrous effects of pandemic prescribing habits on AMR.

“This will facilitate the development of a robust evidence base in order to guide antibiotic prescribing choices that are less likely to increase AMR and have the least environmental impact,” they wrote.

In other words, there are so many antimicrobial drugs being used during COVID-19 that these substances are making their way into the environment and triggering microbes to develop resistance.

Even the World Health Organization made it clear that countries were at risk of the accelerated spread of AMR due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They cited data showing that antibiotic use increased throughout the pandemic. According to research by the WHO in Europe, about 79 percent to 96 percent of people who reported taking antibiotics didn’t have COVID-19 but were taking them in the hopes of preventing infection, even though antibiotics don’t work against viral infections.

Further, the WHO noted that while about 15 percent of people with severe COVID-19 may develop a bacterial co-infection that would require antibiotics, 75 percent of COVID-19 patients were actually receiving such drugs.

Why New Antibiotics Aren’t the Answer

Clearly, alternatives to antibiotics are needed—and fast. It’s been estimated that the pharmaceutical industry will need upwards of $37 billion over the next decade to replace antibiotics that no longer work. However, drug companies have little financial incentive to innovate new antibiotics, so unless taxpayers end up footing the bill, it’s unlikely that such products will enter the market anytime soon.

There are 43 antibiotics in clinical development, but none of them show much promise for solving rapidly rising AMR, as innovation is stagnant. Most “new” antibiotics brought to the market are variations of drug classes that have been around since the 1980s. WHO’s annual Antibacterial Pipeline Report also found that antibiotics currently in development are insufficient to tackle AMR:

“The 2020 report reveals a near static pipeline with only a few antibiotics being approved by regulatory agencies in recent years. Most of these agents in development offer limited clinical benefit over existing treatments, with 82 percent of the recently approved antibiotics being derivatives of existing antibiotic classes with well-established drug resistance. Therefore, the rapid emergence of drug resistance to these new agents is expected.”

Pesticides Make Antibiotic Resistance Worse

The overuse of antimicrobials during COVID-19 is only one piece of the puzzle. Widely used herbicides such as glyphosate (Roundup) and dicamba (Kamba) also play a role.

University of Canterbury researchers revealed that agrichemicals and antibiotics in combination increase the evolution of antibiotic resistance such that bacteria may develop antibiotic resistance up to 100,000 times faster when they’re exposed to certain herbicides in the environment.

Herbicides promote antibiotic resistance by priming pathogens to more readily become resistant to antibiotics. This includes Roundup (the actual formulation of Roundup, not just its active ingredient glyphosate in isolation), which was shown to increase the antibiotic-resistant prowess of E. coli and salmonella, along with dicamba and 2,4-D.

Rodale News reported: “The way Roundup causes this effect is likely by causing the bacteria to turn on a set of genes that are normally off, [study author] Heinemann says. These genes are for ‘pumps’ or ‘porins,’ proteins that pump out toxic compounds or reduce the rate at which they get inside of the bacteria.

“Once these genes are turned on by the herbicide, then the bacteria can also resist antibiotics. If bacteria were to encounter only the antibiotic, they would instead have been killed.

“In a sense, the herbicide is ‘immunizing’ the bacteria to the antibiotic. … This change occurs at levels commonly used on farm field crops, lawns, gardens, and parks.”

In the United States, industrial agriculture even uses the antibiotics oxytetracycline and streptomycin as pesticides on agricultural plants, a practice that’s banned in the European Union and Brazil due to rising concerns over antibiotic resistance. But in the U.S., the Environmental Protection Agency approved the “maximum level” of oxytetracycline for use in citrus fruits in December 2018—just days after approving residues of the drug on fruit.

Agricultural Antibiotics Can’t Be Ignored

Industrially raised farm animals living on concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFO) have emerged as another major reservoir of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Due to poor farming practices, including the use of low doses of antibiotics in animal feed for purposes of growth promotion, antibiotic resistance in farm animals is on the rise, threatening human and animal health along with food production sustainability.

Worldwide, most antibiotics are used not for human illness but for livestock. Overall, 73 percent of the antibiotics sold globally are used in farm animals raised for food, typically on CAFOs. Researchers explained the glaring role of CAFOs in antibiotic resistance in Environmental Health Perspectives:

“This prolonged use of antibiotics, especially at low levels, presents a risk of not killing the bacteria while promoting their resistance by selecting for resistant populations.

“The resistance genes can pass readily from one kind of bacteria to another. Thus, workers in the animal units may become colonized with resistant organisms and can pass them on to co-workers and family members, or friends.

“Consumers of meat may also become colonized through mishandling of raw meat or through insufficient cooking. Ultimately, these genes may pass into pathogens, and diseases that were formerly treatable will be capable of causing severe illness or death.”

In addition, most antibiotics ingested by animals are not metabolized but, rather, excreted. This waste is then applied to soil as a fertilizer, which may then be sprayed with herbicide. The antibiotic-resistant microbes can also be carried elsewhere by houseflies.

Pandemic Stretches Limits of Optimal Antibiotic Usage

Increased AMR is yet another fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic, which will combine with the already perilous AMR pandemic in progress, resulting in further deaths and environmental destruction. Writing in the International Journal of Antimicrobial Agents, researchers stated, “The ongoing pandemic is stretching the limits of optimal antibiotic stewardship,” and they called for an end to unnecessary use of antimicrobial agents:

“Moreover, unnecessary use of antimicrobial agents would be associated with a significant economic burden on healthcare systems, which could be directly caused by the drug itself and indirectly caused by healthcare costs for the management of drug-related adverse events.”

Beyond this, choosing organic foods, including grass-fed meats and dairy products, can help you avoid exposure to antibiotic residues in the food supply while also supporting food growers who aren’t contributing to AMR. Unfortunately, as the world continues to put all of its attention on COVID-19, the catastrophe of AMR is getting worse instead of better.

Let’s face an incontrovertible fact: Joe Biden’s Southern Border Policy is to have NO Southern Border SECURITY!

Go on, rail at me for being a conspiracy theorist. But before throwing eggs at your computer screen or throwing your cell phone into a toilet, consider the “facts” of the Biden border policy:

  • Though Trump’s border wall construction had proven effective in dramatically reducing illegal border policies, Biden stopped construction;
  • Before even becoming President, Biden in numerous national television appearances and campaign adds denigrated Trump’s immigration policies that had worked. In fact, Biden demeaned the Trump policies as inhumane. He told those Central Americans who Trump’s policies sent home that, if elected, he would welcome those immigrants’ return to the U.S. border and into the U.S.;
  • Since his inauguration, Biden’s Homeland Security has systematically reversed EVERY Trump immigration policy possible, opening the floodgate of illegals to storm the border;
  • The presidents of Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Mexico have each proclaimed that the Biden Administration’s undoing of Trump’s immigration policies is the SOLE reason for the U.S. southern border crisis;
  • Counting illegals captured when crossing and the “got-always” — the term used by Border Patrol for those illegals documented but not apprehended — approximately 1 million illegals have found their way to the U.S. just since Biden’s first day as President!
  • American citizens across the southern border states are watching their lives under constant attacks by this flood of illegals. These “attacks” may not be physical assaults (though some are), but the social, medical, economic, and law enforcement environments there teeter on collapse because of the massive and constant influx of illegals. And there’s no response from the Biden folks to the cries of those authorities for help.
  • Even Democrat lawmakers’ cries from these states go unheeded by this Administration. These inactions have resulted in governors actually considering taking the protection of their borders into their own hands. And border protection is the responsibility of the federal government. The Biden Administration refuses to respond over and over!

Joe Biden’s response? “There’s no border crisis — there’s a border ‘challenge.'”

Kalamity Kamala To The Rescue!

94 days ago, President Biden announced to the world that his Vice President was appointed to, in effect, be Biden’s “Southern Border Czar.” Indications from the President were that Harris would assume the leadership role in the management role of working with the various agencies, state and local law enforcement agencies, and leaders of the Northern Triangle countries in Central America to coordinate a transition back to peaceful and legal immigration policies.

Kalamity quickly notified the world that her role was NOT to deal with the “actual” southern border issues. The Department of Homeland Security would continue in that role. Her responsibility was to “coordinate and work with the leaders of those Central American countries to assist those leaders in addressing and fixing the ‘root causes’ for mass immigration to the U.S.”

And those countries’ presidents all laughed!

Harris refused to go to the border. She avoided answering the questions as to why she wouldn’t go for months. Actually, she did not go to the Central American countries until two weeks ago! And she only did so because of the incessant calls from across the U.S. for the Vice President to “get to work!”

Her trip to Guatemala and Mexico was abysmal and was met with indifference from both of their leaders.

So, finally, Vice President Kalamity Kamala made the BIG announcement: “She’s going to our southern border!”

VP Harris To The Border: “Show and Tell”

Vice President Kamala Harris’s visit to El Paso, Texas Friday was probably not intended to showcase the success of the Trump administration’s immigration and border enforcement policies. But Harris has nevertheless picked the perfect city from which to learn what policies have actually worked to secure the border. The only way she could learn more about the border than by choosing to go to El Paso would be if she had invited former President Trump to join her.

Harris may not know it, but El Paso has played a definitive role in the decades-long fight to curb illegal immigration along the U.S. southern border stretching all the way back to when the city was the initial headquarters of U.S. Border Patrol.

Under the deportation policies of the early 1990s, Border Patrol agents apprehended as many aliens as they could, but even those deported generally found ways to make it back across the border in the following days and weeks. Observing the ineffectiveness of this approach, Silvestre Reyes, then-Chief of the El Paso Sector of Border Patrol, decided that deterring illegal entry into the country altogether was a more efficient strategy than focusing solely on apprehensions.

“They thought I was crazy,” Reyes said. “But I told them: ‘I’m not interested in apprehensions. I’m not interested in generating numbers. I’m interested in controlling the border.’”

Under Reyes’s leadership, Border Patrol’s Operation Hold the Line increased the volume of border agents and dramatically improved the physical barriers already in place in El Paso starting in 1993. The Operation began as a 20-mile blockade of 400 agents and vehicles every 100 yards along the border on each side of El Paso. It established the border control strategy that influences our nation’s immigration policies to this day.

As a result of Reyes’s groundbreaking initiative, border apprehensions dropped from nearly 300,000 to under 80,000 per year—culminating in over a 70 percent reduction. With the implementation of Operation Hold the Line, Reyes not only proved to his city, his state, and his country that borders can in fact be secured, but also provided the model for border security and immigration policies for years and decades to come. Following the success of the Operation, Congress allocated funds to the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service so that Reyes’s “extremely effective border patrol model” could be replicated in other parts of the country.

Reyes was later elected to Congress, where he served eight consecutive terms as a Democrat and as the first Latino to represent El Paso.

In the 13 years after Operation Hold the Line was implemented, violent crime dropped by more than 34 percent. Since 1993, the year the Operation was put into effect, illegal immigration dropped 95 percent in the area over the course of 22 years. Additionally, since fencing in the region was completed, the city’s drug smuggling fell considerably, with marijuana and cocaine seizures cut in half.

During the Trump Administration, El Paso rose to become one of America’s safest cities — even in spite of its nearness to the border and close proximity to Juarez, Mexico, one of the most dangerous cities in the world. In 2019, Juarez had 1,499 murders, while El Paso only had 40. Since El Paso’s border barrier was completed, motor vehicle thefts plummeted by 60 percent. Burglary cases similarly decreased from 7,655 in 1993 to 1,297 in 2017.

When President Trump left office, El Paso had 131 miles of fully constructed border wall and experienced an overwhelming cutback in drug and smuggling activities in places where new border wall had been constructed. In two of U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s El Paso zones, apprehensions decreased by as much as 80 percent from the first half of fiscal year 2020 to its second half.

By visiting El Paso Friday, Vice President Harris unwittingly recognized the Trump Administration’s success in securing our border. Through the innovation of Operation Hold the Line and the policies and strategies it yielded, El Paso set the gold standard for a city that knows how to secure its borders and protect its communities — and other cities and states ought to follow its example. The Sun City was the perfect place for Harris to visit, but not for the reasons she thinks: El Paso is an ideal place not to downplay a crisis, but to show the country how to avert one. Leaders and elected officials should follow Silvestre Reyes’s lead and enact policies and systems that secure the border in ways that work.

Instead of building on the Trump successes in border immigration, Harris continued to perpetuate the false information mantra in the very spot to the same people who were part of fixing their OWN illegal immigration crisis that Harris and Biden destroyed!

In the end, the Vice President’s visit last Friday may not have succeeded in anything other than inadvertently highlighting the effectiveness of the border policies she ran against. Let’s hope the rest of the nation can see what she couldn’t. What’s that: “You can’t fix Stupid!”

President Biden’s Department of Justice has filed suit against the state of Georgia regarding part of the new election law passed by the Georgia Legislature and signed into law by Governor Kemp. I think the timing is suspicious with the midterm elections looming in the headlights. The suit was filed in federal court.   • Poor Meghan and Harry. After they stepped away from the Royal family, it seems their doing so sent them to “the poor side of town.” Well, not really. In a previous article, I mentioned BlackRock, Inc.  Not many took notice or mentioned it, but now, BlackRock is finally hitting the news big time.  And they have influence, unbelievable influence with world leaders. In less than 30 years, this American financial firm has grown from nothing to becoming the world’s largest and most trusted manager of other people’s money.

Created in 1988, BlackRock gained its current power in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis. With the fall of Lehman Brothers, Wall Street was in the throes of free-fall: no one knew what thousands of their financial portfolios contained, what was hidden behind the derivatives, what was toxic and what was not, what was dangerous and what wasn’t.  They are the financial leviathan that bears down on Europe’s decisions and America’s.  The assets left in their care are more than $8.7 trillion American dollars.

BlackRock, Tom Donilon and Biden

In a recent article by The Conservative Tree House (CTH), i.e., The Last Refuge website, they exposed BlackRock’s connections to the illegitimate Biden administration.  The CTH author, Sundance, summarized the article, The Chairman of the BlackRock Investment Institute, the guy who tells the $8.7 trillion investment firm BlackRock where to put their money, has a brother who is the Senior Advisor to Joe Biden; has a wife who is the White House Personnel Director; and has a daughter who is now on the National Security Council.

BlackRock’s Chairman is none other than Tom Donilon whose literal job description for BlackRock is to: “leverage the firm’s expertise and generate proprietary research to provide insights on the global economy, markets, geopolitics and long-term asset allocation.”

Conflicts of interest and insider information.

Thomas Donilon is a member of the globalist Council on Foreign Relations and is Chairman of the BlackRock Investment Institute and Senior of Counsel at the international law firm of O’Melveny & Myers.  Like BlackRock’s owner, Donilon is a Democrat who has supported and advised every democrat president and candidate from Jimmy Carter to Hillary Clinton.

The connections are extremely telling.  However, what few people know is that BlackRock, among others, is buying every single-family house they can find, paying 20-50% above asking price and outbidding normal home buyers, especially in Florida, but other Red States as well. Corporations, pension funds and property investment groups are snapping up single-family houses, and even entire neighborhoods, to rent out or flip and are competing with American families –accounting for 25% of the sales in some cities.  Raw control by big money is the wholesale takeoverof the housing market.

BlackRock is the world’s largest asset manager and the leading proponent of The Great Reset. They’re looking to redistribute $120 Trillion in housing wealth. Why does this matter?  Because for the lower and middle class, owning a home is the most major part of any financial success, and ensures their future upward mobility. This is wealth redistribution from the American middle class. Salt of the earth wealth heading into the hands of the world’s most powerful entities and individuals. The traditional financial vehicle called home ownership gone forever.

Permanent capital is now competing with young couples trying to buy a home. That’s going to make U.S. housing permanently more expensive and likely impossible.

GSK and BlackRock, Inc.

BlackRock, Inc is based in New York City and owned by Democrat Larry Fink.

They have filed an SC 13G/A form with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) disclosing ownership of 377,284,263 shares of GlaxoSmithKline plc (US: GSK). This represents 7.5 percent ownership of the company. In their previous filing dated 2020-02-05, BlackRock Inc. had reported owning 376,159,235 shares, indicating an increase of 0.30 percent.

With stock in GSK, BlackRock is now in the development and manufacture of mRNA first-generation Covid-19 “vaccines.”

GlaxoSmithKline plc (LSE/NYSE: GSK) and CureVac N.V. (Nasdaq: CVAC) announced a new $179 million collaboration, building on their existing relationship, to jointly develop next-generation mRNA “vaccines” for Covid-19 with the potential for a multi-valent approach to address multiple emerging variants in one vaccine.

Emma Walmsley, Chief Executive Officer, GSK, said: “We believe that next-generation vaccines will be crucial in the continued fight against COVID-19. This new collaboration builds on our existing relationship with CureVac and means that together, we will combine our scientific expertise in mRNA and vaccine development to advance and accelerate the development of new COVID-19 vaccine candidates.

Yikes!

GSK will also support the manufacture of up to 100 million doses of CureVac’s first-generation Covid-19 vaccine candidate CVnCoV in 2021.

In 2018, Soros Fund Management also dramatically boosted its shares in BlackRock Inc., overseeing $6 trillion by nearly 60 percent to 12,983 total shares in the second quarter of 2018.  How lovely!

BlackRock, Inc. also manages the French AXA, a French multinational insurance firm that strongly backs climate control.  Axa has called for the creation of a “net-zero underwriting alliance” that would see member companies from across the insurance sector align their business activities with the 1.5 Celsius (carbon dioxide removal) warming pathway required under the Paris Agreement, fundamentally reshaping the global economy.  In late 2019, BlackRock, Inc. named Sebastien Herzog, a senior official at French insurer Axa’s investment management arm, as its operations director for France, Belgium, and Luxembourg.

Larry Fink is in agreement with the French AXA. He even wrote a letter to the CEOs “highlighting issues that are pivotal to creating durable value” issues such as capital management, long-term strategy, purpose, and climate change. We have long believed that our clients, as shareholders in your company, will benefit if you can create enduring, sustainable value for all of your stakeholders.”

Realize all of this nonsense is about money and taxes…not about global warming or climate change, all of which is normal and cyclical. Link  The climate change comrades, the spiderwebs of big pharma control and the Great Reset are all wrapped up in one putrescent and treasonous package with BlackRock at the head of the pack.

Top dogs, stakeholders at the top of the communist revolutionary heap, those who committed treason to steal the election and destroy America from within…those whose gain-of-function and connection to Wuhan brought us the controlling and devastating destruction of small businesses in America…you think they weren’t culpable?  Think again…big money is in control.  The American people are being destroyed.  The American dream is being slaughtered in front of our eyes.

It Appears We’re Hearing Lies About All-Things COVID-19: Part I

It has been exhausting since late January of 2020 to investigate, explore, dig for facts both good and bad, about everything that’s part of the COVID-19 story. Honestly, in normal circumstances in which good or bad things happen at the national and/or international levels, news media operations have good access to information. It has seemed from the beginning of COVID-19 and our subsequent pandemic, facts, evidence, details, and pros and cons of everything to do with it all have been cloaked in a mysterious “off-limits room” available only to a select few. Subsequently, TruthNewsNetwork — from the onset — has been skeptical about what we have all been spoon-fed as “facts,” provided to us by the “Experts.” And, sure enough, constant changes in the facts, arguments about every part of all this happen daily between medical professionals from around the globe, and citizens of the planet have been kept in darkness. We don’t know what we should believe and we don’t know who to believe.

In the U.S., our so-called “go-to” expert was (and still is) Dr. Anthony Fauci.

We will not launch into the multiple 180-degree changes in the absolutes Dr. Fauci gave to us from the White House briefing room. Nor will we detail the verified lies he’s been caught telling. But what we ARE going to do today and continue in the weeks and months ahead is present to you the incidents, media reports, medical professionals, and their testimonies based on medical evidence that either confirms or debunks the “facts” we’ve been given by all the experts from Dr. Fauci on down.

Let me prepare you: beginning today, you will get information on several subjects that will anger you, frighten you, yet will clear some of the questions you have had about the information we’ve been given that just didn’t seem all right. And it will be that way in these reports going forward.

Please understand that we cannot give you a timeline or projection on when, how many, nor contents that will be included in these updates to you. There’s just no way to know. But, based on the initial reports and evidence we give you today, it appears there will be many more to come. We’ll call this series “COVID-19 Evidence and Unanswered Questions.”

Part One: Suspicious Airline Pilot Deaths at British Airways

Big Tech and the corporate media are moving furiously to suppress the news that four British Airways pilots have died in recent days after reportedly getting the Covid vaccine. A June 17 tweet included a photo of the four pilots which were accompanied by condolence books. Twitter’s censors marked the tweet as being in “violation of the Twitter rules.”

The reported age of the pilots was the mid-30s to 50s. Since pilots receive regular health checks, no known disease or condition that would lead to a healthy pilot suddenly dying was reported.

In a voice recording that was posted on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, an unidentified male says he has spoken to a “friend who’s a BA pilot” and explains “things are getting crazy” after his fellow pilots passed away. All three platforms have since removed the recording, citing “false information.” The recording continued: “They’ve had the third BA pilot die in the last seven days, yeah? Third pilot dead in the last week. The first two guys were in their forties and fifties; this guy, mid-thirties, perfectly fit, no underlying conditions. He gets his second jab and he’s dead within days, exactly the same with the first two. Because of this, BA is now in crisis talks with the government about whether to allow vaccinated pilots to fly. The issue with that of course is that about 80%, according to my friend in BA, 80-85% have been injected.”

The corporate media, Big Tech, and it appears even British Airways are insisting that it is completely coincidental that four healthy pilots who reportedly received the Covid jab died within days of each other.

In a vague June 17 Twitter post, British Airways said: “Sadly four members of our pilot community passed away recently. Our thoughts are with their family and friends. However, there is no truth whatsoever in the claims on social media speculating that the four deaths are linked.”

Reuters moved swiftly in an attempt to bury the story, issuing a June 17 “fact check,” which did nothing to counter the fact that four healthy pilots died after getting the jab, but only reported the comment in the recording which said British Airlines was in “crisis talks” over the pilot deaths.

In its “fact check,” Reuters noted: “Reuters presented the claims to British Airways, which said they were unfounded and that no such talks were underway with the government. The spokesperson, however, confirmed the authenticity of the four condolence books, as four company pilots had recently passed away.”

Part Two: Moderna Is Outed For COVID-19 Vaccine Work Before January 1, 2020

A document reveals that Moderna, along with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), led by Dr. Fauci, agreed in Dec. 2019 to transfer coronavirus RNA vaccine applicants to the University of North Carolina. Signatories to the document were Dr. Ralph Baric on Dec. 12, 2019, and Jacqueline Quay on Dec. 16, 2019, both for the University of North Carolina, Dr. Amy F. Petrik on Dec. 12, 2019, and Dr. Barney Graham for NIAID, and Sunny Himansu and Shaun Ryan, both on Dec. 17, 2019, for Moderna.

All signatures were made before there was any public knowledge of the coronavirus occurrence, as officially December 31, 2019, was when World Health Organization (WHO) learned that there were suspected cases of unknown pneumonia in Wuhan, China, and they did not know the cause. On Jan. 9, 2020, it was only that WHO released the information that China determined that the cause of this new pneumonia was a new coronavirus. So before the existence of a new coronavirus was known, Moderna, in conjunction with NIAID, led by Dr. Fauci, transferred the coronavirus RNA vaccine technology to Dr. Baric.

Let’s break down those involved:

  • Moderna had the technology for a COVID-19 vaccine before the world knew of the existence of this new coronavirus.
  • Dr. Fauci is accused of funding the Wuhan lab in gain-of-function research, which is where the new coronavirus likely came from and at the same time participating in this deal. Fauci must have already known about the existence of this new virus.
  • Dr. Baric, who conducted gain-of-function research in his lab at the University of North Carolina and collaborated with Chinese researcher Shi Zhengli in conducting these same experiments in the Wuhan lab. Both received funding from Fauci.

Moreover, as early as 2018, Baric seemed to know that there would be the next pandemic. At a symposium with the name “Imagining the next flu pandemic, and preventing it!” held at a University of North Carolina Education Center, the epidemiologist, in a controversial presentation, talked about how “Pandemics are times of opportunity” for people to make political, financial and personal gains.

Dr. Baric was to sign a letter sent by Dr. Peter Daszak to the scientific journal The Lancet, to pressure the scientific community to rule out that the new coronavirus originated in a laboratory. He did not sign the letter at Daszak’s request. It might bring attention to the fact that he was also researching gain-of-function and that the letter might lose validity due to a conflict of interest, Trending Politics reported. It should be noted that four close associates of Baric did sign the letter.

This new document fuels the theory that the virus left the Wuhan laboratory long before the CCP made official the existence of the outbreak of the new coronavirus.

Part Three: A CCP Virus Variant Is Much More Lethal Than Thought

According to data released by Public Health England (PHE) on Friday, June 18, the fatality rate from the Delta CCP (Chinese Communist Party) Virus variant is six times greater among individuals who were fully vaccinated for two weeks or longer than those who never got a shot.

“This is reminiscent of the ADE (antibody-dependent enhancement) phenomenon that has been seen for other vaccines and that has been expressed as a point of concern among many scientists for the COVID vaccines,” experienced researcher Stephanie Seneff at Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory reported. Earlier efforts with CCP Virus vaccines were hampered by ADE, which typically resulted in increased lung illness in injected lab animals. It prompted experts to advise scientists in 2012 to proceed with “caution” while developing human CCP Virus vaccines that could cause increased lung illness. “I also suspect that massive vaccination campaigns may accelerate the rate at which the vaccine-resistant mutant strains become dominant among all the SARS-Co-V2 strains,” Seneff stated.

There were 26 deaths out of 4,087 patients who were fully vaccinated 14 days or more before testing positive for the Delta CCP Virus strain. According to data released in a June 18 report titled “SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern and variants under investigation in England, Technical briefing 16,” this compared to a death rate of 0.00636 %, which was 6.6 times higher than the rate of 0.000957 %—or 34 deaths among 35,521 positive Delta cases among those who did not get a shot.

For Delta, a version that PHE identifies as the “dominant variant” in the UK, encompassing “91 percent of sequenced cases,” both mortality rates among the unvaccinated and vaccinated were extremely low (less than 1 % of all positive cases).

The Delta version of the CCP Virus pandemic was defined as more easily disseminated between people in a risk analysis issued on Friday, June 18, but it was also classified as a variety with “low infection severity.”

Completely vaccinated individuals were hospitalized at a higher rate than unvaccinated people in the UK. Two percent of vaccinated patients (84 of 4,087) who tested positive for the Delta variant were admitted to the hospital, compared to 1.48 % of unvaccinated ones (527 of 35,521), according to the most recent technical briefing report.

According to PHE’s current risk assessment for SARS-C0V-2 variations, a shocking 61 % of the cases sequenced were the Delta form (B.1.617.2). This indicated that the Delta variant, which was initially discovered in India, is more prevalent in the UK than the Alpha form, which caused a spike last year. It was classified as a variation of concern by the World Health Organization (WHO), which has given it the name Delta (VOC). It continued to see “significantly increased transmissibility” and a “growing number of countries reporting outbreaks associated with this variant,” WHO reported.

People completely vaccinated with the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine have more than five times lower levels of neutralizing antibodies against the Delta variant than against other versions, according to a report published in The Lancet on Friday, June 11.

Part Four: U.S. Well-Know Doctor Shares Certainty of Wuhan Lab Weaponization of COVID-19

Dr. Peter McCullough, an American professor of medicine and Vice Chief of Internal Medicine at Baylor University, stated in an interview last week that the world has been exposed to a form of bioterrorism and that the repression of early Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Virus treatments “was tightly linked to the development of a vaccine.”

During a June 11 conference with Dr. Reiner Fuellmich, a German trial attorney, McCullough said that he believed bioterrorism had occurred in two waves, with the first being the spread of the CCP Virus and the second being the spread of harmful vaccines, which he claimed may have already killed up to 50,000 people in the U.S. According to McCullough, both the coronavirus and the vaccines sent “the spike protein, [which is] the gain of function target of this bioterrorism research” to the human body.

“We know that this is phase two of bioterrorism, we don’t know who’s behind it, but we know that they want a needle in every arm to inject messenger RNA or adenoviral DNA into every human being,” he claimed, warning the public about the injections. “They want every human being.”

Later, McCullough expressed concern that the experimental immunizations could cause cancer and sterilize young females. The vaccines may have been intended to diminish the global population; he went on to say. As the medical establishment had done such a good job of spreading misinformation about the topic, he admitted that he couldn’t express all of that on national media.

The cardiologist continued to say that because there was no medical advantage to getting vaccinated in young people, even one case of myocarditis or pericarditis after the injection “is too many.” However, the CDC will only reconsider the problem later in June though they are aware of hundreds of serious reports of heart-swelling cases in young people.

Because the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) database only contained approximately 10% of all vaccine-related adverse effects, McCullough’s team had to look for data elsewhere.

“We have now a whistleblower inside the CMS, and we have two whistleblowers in the CDC,” the doctor said. “We think we have 50,000 dead Americans. Fifty thousand deaths. So we actually have more deaths due to the vaccine per day than certainly the viral illness by far. It’s basically propagandized bioterrorism by injection.”

According to McCullough, the United States is preparing to mandate citizens to obtain the shots. “We have to stop it, and we have to see what’s behind it,” he concluded.

As a clinician treating CCP Virus patients, McCullough developed an early treatment protocol for people infected with the virus that reduced hospitalizations by nearly 85%. In addition, he began publishing articles on what he discovered. However, regarding actually healing patients and publishing his studies, the doctor said he has “met with resistance at all levels.”

Dr. McCullough practices internal medicine and cardiology. He is the editor of Reviews in Cardiovascular Medicine, a senior editor of the American Journal of Cardiology, the editor of the textbook Cardiorenal Medicine, and the president of the Cardiorenal Society. McCullough has also served on over two dozen FDA and National Institute of Health vaccine safety monitoring boards.

Summary

Here are the million-dollar questions from me to you and then you to me: “Do you believe what you read here today?”

Your question to me is: “Dan, do YOU believe what you published here today?”

I must be honest: I’ve checked for the factual basis on all four reports. From what I’ve read and from the sources which are available for efficacy and accuracy, I believe the substance of these reports.

That’s the scariest part. The fact that an impartial journalist who follows leads from stories that at best are controversial or at worst true whose results find the stories individually and collectively appear to be factual, should be be breathtaking for our medical and political communities. The fact that neither the medical experts nor politicians have weighed in on these leads me to believe they’re probably true!

Wait a minute: Twitter slapped their label on the first story when tweeted about. Subsequent fact-checkers have given a casual “caution” regarding content. But none have stated the stories are inaccurate or false! We KNOW that if they were false, Big Tech would have reported to the sky their findings of fraud regarding such sensitive story content.

“When it quacks and waddles, 99 times out of a hundred it’s a duck.”

Using that basis, it looks like the duck quacked four times in this case.

The Truth About “Critical Race Theory”

Critical Race Theory (CRT), which is just an updated form of racism, is the most destructive force of the 21st century. If you said 50 years ago that a half-century since, there would be a successful social movement, dominating academia, politics, and even the business world, holding that the most important thing about a person is his skin color, I wouldn’t have believed it. But that is where we are now.

Roger Simon, a writer, commentator, and political columnist at POLITICO, wrote the following about the curse of CRT:

“Something called Critical Race Theory intervened to turn our society around, head it back toward racial enmity and, to be blunt, destroy our country, and with it our common humanity, unless it is stopped. Unlike slavery, which was overt, CRT is a growing cancer infecting our schools, media, entertainment, and businesses. It is everywhere, often unseen and more often not even known or recognized by a large percentage of the public, so all the more dangerous.

Martin Luther King’s justifiably famous dream that the day will come when we judge each other by our characters and not by the color of our skins has been turned on its head. The color of our skins is to be the be all and end all of our existences, no matter what, no escape. That is what determines our position in life and our fate, beyond class and, apparently, beyond our character as well (i.e. how we actually behave and what we have done). Race is everything. In order to be considered good, you must acknowledge that, literally bow to it, and behave accordingly.

“Whiteness” is the great evil in contemporary America, for reasons that remain obscure. I still don’t understand how CRT bullies have managed to turn 60% to 76% of our population, depending on how you count, into a persecuted group. But somehow, it has happened.

Every aspect of our culture has been infected with this absurdity right up to the corporate board rooms. Even Coca Cola executives are now instructing us on the dangers of “whiteness.” Do they actually believe this hogwash? Who knows? Perhaps they are just scared, cowards playing along with the zeitgeist to keep their lucrative jobs. But if that’s so, it’s worse.

Most importantly, the ideology has infected our schools, even at the lowest levels, to the degree that young children are being hard-wired to hate or distrust each other and, even more sadly, themselves.

White kids — no matter their social class, no matter at what point their families came to America, in many cases decades and more after slavery, fleeing genocides, pogroms, the most abject poverty or whatever — are being taught they are oppressors and must spend their lives expiating the sin of their skin color.

If you wanted to invent an ideology that actually created racism where it doesn’t exist, you could do no better than Critical Race Theory.

That is largely the point, I think. The Democratic Party has calculated that race hatred will work to its advantage, so it is doing everything possible to foment racial conflict and promote racism.

With the blessing of CRT, one of the major goals of the Civil Rights Movement, integration, has also been flipped on its head, back to segregation, with institutions like Columbia University holding separate graduation ceremonies for different ethnic and racial groups. Not that long ago, this would have been considered a racist outrage by the same people.

Segregation today, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever! That was once the battle cry of Democrat George Wallace. Today, it is the policy of Democrats everywhere. These institutions are now leading the charge against free speech, with Critical Race Theory as their intellectual underpinning. After all, the Bill of Rights was written by white men. It had to be thrown away.

In the battle between free speech and CRT, CRT is winning hands-down.

But the landscape is not entirely bleak. This is a war that might be won, despite the powerful forces now arrayed against our history, our values, our culture, and our form of government.

There is some good news, however. Like many things now, to a surprising degree, this anti-democratic, racially divisive onslaught can be stopped best locally. This is especially true at the critical school level where parents, all of us really, can organize and step forward to stop the indoctrination.

I think the federal government has relatively little to do with the decisive conflict of our time. Local action will decide the issue. This will take bravery and conviction that many have never shown before or even know that they have. But they do. Many are beginning to show it across the country. Among the most courageous doing so now are black men and women who see more clearly, feel more acutely, than any of us the disastrous betrayal of the civil rights movement and their own people by Critical Race Theory and are opposing it vehemently.

The promise of America is open and available to all individuals regardless of skin color or station in life.

We reject the concept of group identity and all its ancillary components, including white privilege, systemic racism, equity, etc. By rejecting group identity, we empower and celebrate the achievements made by an individual’s merit – hard work, creativity, personal investment, and risk-taking.

The private sector and free enterprise are the fastest and most financially rewarding routes to a better life for the Black community.
  • Getting a job and earning a living brings dignity, respect, and value to a person’s life.
  • Private-sector job creation is the cornerstone of prosperity for all Americans.
  • We reject socialism in all shapes because it deprives individuals of their personal value, robs them of their unique contributions, and values them only as members of a special group.
  • It is through the private sector that Americans, including black Americans, can create wealth.
Summary

Many Americans are already taking aggressive action against CRT, first in our schools, second in major corporations, and third is the permeating American society with this disease. But there’s good news about even that!

The Mainstream Media, who were the anointed ones to bring CRT into every corner of our lives, are in panic mode. Americans have awakened to the reality of the gut-wrenching effects of this “new” Leftist-inspired scourge. They are besides themselves because of such an obvious pushback by conservatives of every political ilk, not just Republicans. And the “Leftstream Media” are going crazy!

They’re consumed with “What do we do? How do we best push back against their pushback? They’re kicking our butts!” But never forget this: Democrats — especially leaders in their party — though seeming to be stupid, are anything BUT stupid. NOTHING they say or do is off the cuff. It’s all planned, orchestrated, implemented, as directly initiated by Democrat Party Leaders. But, they too are scared to death!

What’s their universal weapon to fight against “anti-CRT” folks? Chuck Todd of NBC gave an example of the Media’s desperation. Todd maintains this GOP pushback is “manufactured:”

Their summation of all of the massive attacks of Critical Race Theory by conservatives is that it CANNOT be based on merit, core convictions, and the fact that most Americans feel that CRT is a farce. There MUST be some coordinated effort that is not just managed but funded and purposely put into play by Trump supporters! This panel’s conclusion was that there’s no way this could ever happen if it didn’t happen the same way it does among members of the Democrat Party and the party’s media mouthpieces: planning, coordination, and demands (and threats) for everyone to “stay on message.”

“It’s impossible,” they maintain, “that no ‘reasonable’ person could possibly believe that CRT is not valid and is not necessary for the lives of Americans.”

They’re running scared!

Americans MUST learn from this. When conservatives who agree with policies and ideas espoused by GOP leadership but then do nothing but sit on their hands, they’re doing so fuels the Left to head for the goal line unimpeded. As you just saw, NBC’s “big guns” on their Sunday show could find NO plausible explanation for what is happening. So, of course, their default position is that conservatives have found someone to fund a pushback to make everyone think Critical Race Theory is bad! Forget about the facts that prove it is NOT just bad; it’s evil.

I close with this: is it not ironic to see almost daily now Democrats in every level of American life pick up and use as weapons against political opponents the very same things Democrats have commanded in unison are evil!

“Racism is the scourge of humanity and always has been.” That’s not a Democrat talking point — it’s true. But, today, we are seeing these same purveyors of equality use racism as a tool with which they attack conservatives. Their default is “skin color.” If you’re white, just because of your skin color, you are evil.

Thankfully, many Americans are seeing the truth and are doing more than just nodding in agreement. Democrats made a big mistake pushing CRT out first in our schools. They thought conservative parents would just sit quietly while they stole a generation of kids to turn into mind-numbed robots. By starting this at the school-age level, they quickly discovered that moms and dads don’t take kindly to teachers using racist ideas to teach our kids that our kids are racist!

That is insane.

When is Enough “Too Much?”

I’ve heard my entire life — especially when I was a kid, went to the grocery store with Mom, and drove her crazy by asking for everything — my Mom, in exasperation, asked me, “When is Enough Enough?” Be honest: you’ve heard that numerous times yourself. That’s probably a universal “Mom” — “Kid” thing. But I must tell you, I’m at a point that has to be close where Mom found herself during these arduous trips to the store with me. Almost every day and all day, we are all confronted with some ridiculous charade that is thrust in our faces by some nutcase (or nutcases) preaching about some “ism,” “ist,” or “phobia.” Most of the time, I don’t have any idea what these charades are really about!

I’m at the point that’s far past my Mom’s frustration with me in the store. I quit thinking, “When is enough enough” a long time ago. I’m into the “When is enough ‘TOO MUCH?'”

Am I alone in this or is there somebody out there who identifies with me? Honestly, I no longer care about the ideas, perspectives, beliefs, biological and psychological identities, likes, loves, and hates that people personally adopt for themselves. (The operative word in the previous sentence for this conversation is “themselves”)

In this societal revolution, there are so many moving parts that this old man is incapable of wrapping my brain around their names, let alone their meanings! And what the heck are their purposes?

I’ve Had TOO MUCH!

Let’s break down some of this insanity and see if I’m the only one who struggles with some or all of these things. Of course, when reading these, you’ll probably nod at a few, shake your head at some, and reading some will cause you to spit your teeth out from laughing so hard!

There will be some folks who think these (and our even calling them out in this story) are irreverent, off-limits, hateful, and, OMG, “racist, xenophobe, Islamaphobe, sexist…” or fill-in-the-blank on your own.

“Titles”

Let’s be honest: Americans have always labeled themselves and others. It’s a “human” thing and NOT just an “American” thing. People worldwide have labeled each other since there have been people. But that doesn’t mean doing so is OK.

It doesn’t matter what the label says, the process of labeling others denigrates one person (and every other person in society that wears the same label) while lifting the person placing the label and all others with who this person identifies as “just like Me.”

Such labels are used for those of different nations of origin, skin color, political perspective, sex, sexual preference, language spoken, religion, place of birth, and on and on. The list of possible labels is so long it’s exhaustive.

But one thing about this process is universal: it diminishes one while elevating the other. And purveyors of this process assume unilateral authority to determine each label and characteristics those labels must have to be included in each group.

Political Perspectives

In the U.S., for generations, we adopted one of just a handful of possible political perspectives, better known as “political parties.” (Have you ever wondered why these political “hate” groups were titled “parties?” “Parties are supposed to be fun!)

In a perfect world, this process would be benign and just so others could recognize one’s political affiliation. But beginning midway in the 20th Century, it took on a weaponization characteristic that has only grown viler through the years. Now, instead of using political labels as little more than to understand differences, we use political differences as a weapon to make certain everyone knows which people the enemies are. In most cases, verbal and written words are the ammunition used for each political skirmish. Still, in the last 20 years, the weapons have only grown in warfare capability, and ammunition has evolved into nuclear hatred.

In all of these political skirmishes, a single outcome is desired from all who battle: domination. Nothing less than that is acceptable. No wonder Thomas Jefferson said, “If achieving Heaven required political party affiliation, I’d certainly choose Hell.”

It was not long until political parties began to choose sides and place labels on others within their own parties. Democrats became known as”Far Left, Moderate or Conservative” Dems. Republicans were “Moderate, Mainstream, or Far Right.” And it was imperative for everyone not only to wear such a title but also to denigrate others of different labels.

Religious Tags

This process was purposely installed way back in the late 1700s by those who did not support the First Amendment, which guarantees freedom of speech and religion. Differences between those of different faiths were necessary to paint others “less” and “unworthy” just because of religious beliefs.

That became more and more prevalent as immigrants flooded U.S. shores. People from close to 200 different nations were welcomed into the New World, bringing a myriad of religions with them. Though our Declaration of Independence codified that “Freedom and Justice for All” extended to those of different faiths, human nature took control, and groups were formed based on religion.

This practice became most obvious after the 911 attack on New York. Islamist radicals flew those planes in the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and crashed one in Pennsylvania. Three thousand dead Americans awakened the nation to the differences between Islam and Christianity. Let the labeling begin! Just think about the numbers of Muslims who have legally immigrated to the U.S. through the years and how many native-born American Muslims live here today that daily fight the so-called “label” of Muslim in the context of terrorism watched around the World.

Today’s #1 Labelers

Who else but the Mainstream Media. So, of course, the Democrat Party over the past 10-15 years picked up the mantle of “Dividers-in-Chief” and not very subtly began their task to split the nation right down the middle. They don’t do that by reporting only news that fits their Leftist perspectives. They ALWAYS include Leftist explanations for every story covered.

The content of this reaps obvious results. Many Americans don’t even question any of the content they see and hear from the Media Mob. And that’s the source of the feeding frenzy on the Left to label, attack using media and the manufactured weapons mentioned above along with others to “teach” the “truths” of their propaganda to a generation of Americans who were raised dependent on electronics and satellite transmissions and social media for all their information. It couldn’t have been any easier to take over the information consumed by these young minds of muck for the indoctrination using totalitarianism as their curricula.

We could continue for hours giving comparisons ad nauseam that we all see and hear in perpetuity preaching this divisive doctrine. Let’s don’t go there. We’ve gone far enough down that rabbit hole. Let’s get to the limits Americans can and will tolerate.

Enough!

“Critical Race Theory (CRT),” “Your Truth-My Truth,” “BLM, Antifa, White Supremacy,” “Wokeness,” “Cancel Culture,” are each murderous in their own ways. None operate in a vacuum, and none work alone. Saddest of all is that each has been purposely weaponized to attack people of difference — every difference listed above and plenty more we haven’t seen yet.

Example:

The Washington Post has promoted global opinions editor Karen Attiah to the role of an opinion columnist despite a now-deleted tweet in which she warned White women that they are “lucky that we are just calling them ‘Karen’s'” and “not calling for revenge.”

“The lies & tears of White women hath wrought: -The 1921 Tulsa Massacre – Murder of Emmet Till – Exclusion of Black women from feminist movements – 53% of white women voting for Trump. White women are lucky that we are just calling them ‘Karen’s.’ And not calling for revenge,” Attiah, who is Black, wrote in the since-deleted tweet.

This story and the actions and words in this piece written by Attiah illustrate just how far we have gone in the communication war. The Left weaponizes everything! If they see no possibility of using any incident, a thing said or posted, news article, or some action of someone with whom they disagree, they’ll ignore it. But give them a slim shot at using one or several of these against one they consider a foe, and they’re all-in! And there’s no consideration at all for the possible damage their words and actions may initiate. Oh, they know there surely will be hurt feelings, destroyed careers, marriages, and families obliterated, and even suicides as results of their attacks. But these are all justified!  Nasty things almost always result from battles. And folks not directly involved who get in the middle of a fire-fight often are injured or even killed: “Collateral Damage” is expected and accepted.

Summary

Do you remember that old saying, “Payback fire with fire?” I’m not sure who authored that. But even if that literally is something that reaches a good solution, I can’t think of one good example it fits. What I DO know for certain are these things: hatred never destroys hatred; lies never correct other lies; infidelity never fixes infidelity; anger never resolves anger; theft never justifies theft; hatred never obliterates hatred; racism NEVER fixes racism.

These are the weapons — along with dozens of others — being used by millions in play 24/7 in our public lives today. Many of us shake our heads when we see and hear these around the clock, not believing they use them to hurt others. Additionally, it’s uncanny how many people who are targets of these attacks don’t even bother to defend themselves!

The benignly targeting allowing these attacks to go unanswered is the desire of the perpetrators. They expect pushback, and they’re prepared for it. But when there’s NO response, they gleefully put another notch in their belts to mark victory and move on to find their next victim.

Wake up! Say something. Defend yourself and the weakest among us against these hypocritical yet deadly attackers and the attackers.

If our nation is going to maintain its reality of being the “Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave,” we are all going to have to draw lines with those who confront and attack us using weapons of numerous types. And when those lines are encroached by anyone, we must push back!

If the young adults and teens who are more and more buying into this faux philosophy don’t see mature Americans en mass pushing back and getting vocal, they will see that as quiet acceptance of all they are seeing and hearing. Once their generation normalizes this process, IT becomes their average. And it’s really tough to change young minds who have been inundated with lies, misrepresentations, and personal attacks so long with no objection, they might never change.

I don’t know about you, but I refuse to let the nation in which I have spent 67 years investing in others, numerous times expecting nothing in return, fade away into totalitarianism which will destroy my grandchildren and their kids.

A Two-Party America Looks to Soon Be in Our Rearview Mirrors

By way of disclaimer, today’s story is NOT a TruthNewsNetwork story. But it’s an important story, even though it does NOT represent the perspectives that we espouse at TNN nor those of any other conservatives that we can find in the U.S.

We have for several years maintained the factual foundation in the U.S. of a massive pull to the Left politically that has garnered all-out support from far-left Democrats, career Washington bureaucrats, and even former “Moderates” from both political parties. Add to that consortium the Mainstream Media, and you have the “Perfect Storm” in U.S. politics aligned to perpetuate a march to the Left in American politics.

We told Americans of the consuming power from the Left to amass as much political power as possible to control the U.S. political system from top to bottom. That quest was NOT just for one election or even several elections, but for all eternity to create a  political class of government officials who grab total control that will be permanent. And it’s happening before our eyes.

The fundamental necessity to foist this on our nation is to trick average Americans into believing total government control is good for all and necessary for Americans to live fruitful and happy lives. Some have scoffed at the very idea that Americans would fall for such a lie. But we’re discovering concerns for this happening have been founded.

How do they sell this life to Americans? Simple: they use the Mainstream Media to build a concept that looks and sounds so good and so benign that NO ONE can resist all that comes with it — at least what is “thought” comes with it. Want an example? We have the perfect Media story to show you.

Why The Two-Party System Is Effing Up U.S. Democracy

As the “Big Lie” of a stolen election continues to dominate the Republican Party, GOP-controlled states enact restrictive voting laws and pursue preposterous election audits, aspiring candidates embrace the fiction of a stolen 2020 election, and a majority of GOP voters still believe Trump is the “true president,” the obvious questions follow: Where is this all headed? And is there any way out?

In one telling, the Republican Party will eventually come back to its senses and move past former President Donald Trump and Trumpist grievance politics, especially if Republicans lose a few elections in a row and realize that it’s a losing strategy. But there’s another possible outcome: More contested elections, more violence, and, ultimately, a collapse into competitive authoritarianism enabled by electoral advantages that tilt in one party’s favor.

Trump and his particular style of party leadership are easy and obvious targets to blame for the decline of American democracy, as well as the Republican Party’s increasing illiberalism. But if Trump was transformative, the more important question is: Why was he able to succeed in the first place?

The most compelling theory based on historical patterns of democratic decline is that hyper-polarization cracked the foundations of American democracy, creating the conditions under which a party could break democratic norms with impunity because winning in the short term became more important than maintaining democracy for the long term.

In order for democracy to work, competing parties must accept that they can lose elections and that it’s okay. But when partisans see their political opposition not just as the opposition, but as a genuine threat to the well-being of the nation, support for democratic norms fades because “winning” becomes everything. Politics, in turn, collapses into an all-out war of “us against them,” a kind of “pernicious polarization” that appears over and over again in democratic collapses, and bears a striking similarity to what’s currently happening in the U.S.

There’s no shortage of plausible explanations for why U.S. politics has become so polarized, but many of these theories describe impossible-to-reverse trends that have played out across developed democracies, like the rise of social media and the increased political salience of globalization, immigration, and urban-rural cultural divides. All of these trends are important contributors, for sure. But if they alone are driving illiberalism and hyper-partisanship in the U.S., then the problem should be consistent across all western democracies. But it isn’t.

What’s happening in the U.S. is distinct in four respects.

First, the animosity that people feel toward opposing parties relative to their own (what’s known as effective polarization in political science) has grown considerably over the last four decades. According to a June 2020 paper from economists Levi Boxell, Matthew Gentzkow, and Jesse M. Shapiro, the increase in effective polarization in the U.S. is the greatest compared to that of eight other OECD countries over the same time period.

Second, the change in how Americans feel about their party and other parties has been driven by a dramatic decrease in positive feelings toward the opposing party. In most (though not all) of the nine democracies, voters have become a little less enthusiastic about their own parties. But only in the U.S. have partisans turned decidedly against the other party.

Boxell, Gentzkow, and Shapiro caution that the cross-country comparisons are not perfect, since they rely on different survey question wordings over time. But they also don’t pull any punches in their findings: “[O]ur central conclusion — that the U.S. stands out for the pace of the long-term increase in affective polarization — is not likely an artifact of data limitations.”

Third, more so than in other countries, Americans report feeling isolated from their own party. When asked to identify both themselves and their favored party on an 11-point scale in a 2012 survey, Americans identified themselves as, on average, 1.3 units away from the party that comes closest to espousing their beliefs, according to an analysis from political scientist Jonathan Rodden. This gap is the highest difference Rodden found among respondents in comparable democracies. This isolation matters, too, because it means that parties can’t count on enthusiasm from their own voters — instead, they must demonize the political opposition in order to mobilize voters.

Fourth, and perhaps most significant, in the U.S., one party has become a major illiberal outlier: The Republican Party. Scholars at the V-Dem Institute at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden have been monitoring and evaluating political parties around the world. And one big area of study for them is liberalism and illiberalism, or a party’s commitment (or lack thereof) to democratic norms prior to elections. And as the chart below shows, of conservative, right-leaning parties across the globe, the Republican Party has more in common with the dangerously authoritarian parties in Hungary and Turkey than it does with conservative parties in the U.K. or Germany.

The U.S. is truly exceptional in just how polarized its politics have become, but it’s not alone. People in countries with majoritarian(ish) democracies, or two very dominant parties dominating its politics like in the U.S. — think Canada, Britain, Australia — have displayed more unfavorable feelings toward the political opposition.

This article illustrates how this has been the case for every move to totalitarianism by every country on Earth that has done so. That’s not so hard to believe. What IS hard to believe is that there is a large percentage of today’s voters who are easily swayed to believe such propaganda. Not only that, they are acting on those beliefs.
